"Hale Ohana" (the Family House) is a beautiful 4 bedroom, 3 1/2 bath home in the quiet residential neighborhood of Ocean Point in Ewa Beach. The southwest shore of Oahu offers sunshine and warm trade winds year round. "Hale Ohana" is located minutes from several white sand beaches including the new resort area, Ko' Olina which has protected lagoons for swimming and snorkeling in addition to a marina. The North Shore is a 30 minute drive and many other island attractions are nearby. There are several golf courses in the immediate vicinity.

This newer home has 4 bedrooms and is newly furnished to accommodate up to four couples or 2-3 families with children. Additional sleeping accommodations can be made using sleeping mats in the living and family rooms. The 2-story house features three upstairs bedrooms and a separate detached fourth bedroom. The Master bedroom features a hand-carved "pineapple" canopy bed with large master bath and closet. The second bedroom has a queen bed with a TV. The third upstairs bedroom has 2 twin beds, a great room for kids. The twins can also be made into a King with advance notice. King and Queen beds are Select Comfort mattresses with firmer/softer adjustable settings. There is plenty of room to spread out in the dining room, living room, family/TV area and eat-in kitchen. A backyard for outside gathering and barbecuing makes this house ideal for family reunions and gatherings.


The fourth bedroom is attached to the garage, separate from the house, offering added privacy. This bedroom has a queen bed, its own bathroom, air conditioner and flat screen TV with cable. This is a great room for the couple that needs a little extra privacy.

There is a large flat screen TV and DVD player in the family room and TV's in the bedrooms with cable throughout. Boogie boards, snorkeling gear and beach mats are provided for your use. See all the sights and then spend the evening in your "home away from home". This family friendly house is the perfect setting for your next vacation.

Within 5 minutes in Ewa Beach is a grocery store, drug store, fast food restaurants and some local eateries. In nearby Kapolei (10 minutes) are more restaurants, shopping and a movie theater. There is a Premium Outlet Mall in Waikele (15 min) and Waikiki is 30-45 away. Hale Ohana is in close proximity to Ko'Olina, the west shore's premiere resort area with calm, private swimming lagoons, and a marina with lots of options for excursions.

The North Shore is a pleasant drive through beautiful scenery and pineapple fields (about 40 minutes). Pearl Harbor with the Arizona Memorial and the Mighty USS Missouri are 20 minutes away.

  • My wife and I have stayed at "Hale Ohana" twice -- Jan. 2007 and Jan. 2008. And now we are going back for a third time in Nov. 2008 and bringing our kids with us. We can't wait! This is a fantastic place to stay while in Oahu. The home is beautiful with all the amenities you could want -- big screen TV, washer/dryer, super comfortable beds (Select Comfort beds!), full kitchen, and you get to park your vehicle in the garage. Plus, the owners are wonderful, accommodating people! You owe it to yourselves to check out "Hale Ohana" when you are planning a vacation to Honolulu. You will save a ton of money and be staying in a place far more relaxing than any hotel can offer.

  • My family of six and I stayed here for a week starting July 4th. This is a wonderful house (tract housing plan) with all the amenities provided such as beach towels, beach chairs, mats, snorkel equip, bikes, and a BBQ. The house is a bit far from Waikiki and Honolulu and the only road (Ft Weaver Rd) is busy at rush hour but if you want to relax away from all the tourists in a nice area this is the place. The price makes this completely worth any 3-4 star hotel for the same number of people and eating in saves a lot of money! The garage is detached from the house (enter through the backyard)as is the 4th bedroom and it's a nice bedroom if you don't mind being away from the house. Thanks for everything!

  • My husband and I stayed at the "Hale Ohana" November of 2007. I would encourage others to stay there too! It was great to have a place to go that is NOT a hotel and place to eat that is NOT at a restaurant. The owner has left very helpful information to local stores,sites and great ideas of places to go and the best times to go.   • My husband and I stayed at Hale Ohana for our honeymoon. The home was beautiful, roomy, and clean. It was also nice to stay somewhere that was away from tourist locations (so it was really quiet), but close enough to everything to be able to enjoy all that Hawaii has to offer. We are going back as soon as we can and taking our family with us.

The "beach toys" (snorkel sets, bogey and surf boards, mats, etc.) in the garage for us to use were extra treats! It definitely was like having our vacation at home, plus more. We definitely will stay at your place again the next time we go to Oahu, and I have already started recommending your place to my friends, neighbors, and relatives. My son (14 yrs old) and my daughter (7 yrs old) love the place so much that they are asking us to now move to Hawaii and get a house just like yours...
