We had our annual family get together at this house over MLK weekend. What a great house with a great location. House has a really cool floor plan with a lot of space for our large family to spread out. The downstairs bonus room was a great place for the kids. The kitchen was great. This house is fully stocked with all the cookware, dishes, serving plates etc you would need as compared to some others we have stayed at. The house works really well for families with kids. They even had small drinking glasses for all of them. Perfect! Double ovens and double dishwashers were key for cooking and cleaning up after the meals. The views from this house are amazing. The beach is a short walk down a trail. Owners are very quick to respond and very easy to deal with. We all had a blast and will be back.

We had a gathering at this home early this year, and this home is absolutely lovely. Its isolated location makes it a peaceful retreat, its size makes it perfect for larger gatherings, and its location makes it ideal for lovely walks on the beach or just observing nature. The eagles soaring in the wind outside the kitchen windows in the morning were a real treat. I can't think of a thing the owners could do to make the stay more enjoyable. I am hoping to assemble the group again next year at the same home.

My husband and I are one of the families who stayed at this home for our big family reunion. We fell in love with the place as soon as we arrived. We couldn't get over the glorious view from the kitchen, diningroom and livingroom. It is the last house "on the block" or at the end of the road, which I liked. Our room was very comfortable. We got the room with the nice crib and our 2 year old slept perfectly in it. Our room was facing the back yard, which turned out to be the best since it was darker on that side of the house. Some of the other rooms had great views but they got too much sun with the long sunny days we got, and the window treatments were not enough to really darken the rooms. But who wants to waste time sleeping when you're staying at a place like this?! We all (except for the children) stayed up late into the night and got up early to enjoy our reunion time. All of us moms were worried about the steep hill leading up to the house, esp. those of us with younger children. No one got hurt though and we were just careful going up and down. We got a bouce-house for the kids and placed it in the back yard so that kept them occupied for hours. The back yard was nice and was big enough for a little soccer game. The kitchen was great - 2 ovens, dishwashers, refrigerators etc. and plenty of pantry space. The stove did not have very strong heat for cooking, but was sufficient and we still used it everyday! I would have liked to have had more sofas at least in the main/formal livingroom. Since so many people can stay here it would be nice to have a livingroom with more surround-style couches. No one complained though, we just pulled up diningroom chairs. The piano was a nice touch in the room and everybody enjoyed that. Everyone enjoyed the hot tub outside as well. The decor in the house was simple yet sophisticated. We liked it simple since we had kids with us! Oh I almost forgot, we had a bald eagle keep us company. We saw it the first day and several more days during our one-week stay. It was majestic! Overall we would definately come back for another reunion. Thank you for providing a clean and lovely home for our growing family.

We "rocked the foundation" with our laughter! Thank you for providing wonderful accomodations for our 30th reunion. All of us ladies had a fabulous time. You were a great "judge" of our art projects Jeff, and so impartial too! We hope to return one day. P.S. The two dishwashers were wonderful idea.

Had some glorious weather and the 8 of us had a great time. Made side trip to Anacortes, LaConnor, Mt.Vernon, Friday Harbor, and even Roche Harbor. Also visited the casino, outlet malls, and had dinner at Anthony's down on the Everett waterfront-YUM! Had a visit from the local whales, woodpeckers, hawk, and eagles. The home and views were wonderful. Thank you again so much.
