Loved the home with a beautiful view and awesome spaciousness. Has everything we needed for kitchen supplies and was nice and clean. We had a family Christmas party and everyone loved the home. The beds were cozy with soft linens. We had a great time. We will definitely be staying again sometime.
This was a great house with beautiful views. I stayed with my family for Thanksgiving and the kitchen was great with plenty of space for the dining room. There were a few small issues of cleanliness but overall it was great and I would stay again.
Really fun house that can hold quite a few people comfortably. Great Views all over the place.
Nice and clean, great, functionable kitchen, and good rooms.
The house was an amazing gathering space for a large group. We had a guys weekend with 12 guys and the property delivered. Lots of beds, kitchen with plenty of cookware, huge TV (we used for gaming), good sized BBQ, anmazing views, and great layout. Saw some bald eagles flying around which was very cool! We were able to hang out on a covered deck and play games on the yard below. Would consider using this property again for another group gathering.
We had a wonderful experience! The property had an absolutely beautiful view and was a great layout for our large family gathering. We even did a big Thanksgiving dinner there. Nikkei could not have been more helpful. She went above and beyond with any request we had. We would definitely recommend!
The location is perfect! Pictures don’t do it justice.
Our family with small kids stayed here along with grandparents. We loved the open layout, the deck, and the lower lawn to play. For us, it was a perfect location, halfway between Anacortes/Deception Pass and Seattle.
The house was super clean and the amenities are very nice. We would book again in future.
Wonderful deck with view of the water and really enjoyed being outside. Good showers with mostly decent beds. Downstairs master bed ready to change out as soft and rolls to center. Nice looking place with just a few issues with cleanliness.
The location and views from this house were incredible. There were also Eagles feeding during low tide. It was an amazing experience. I would stay here again. There was ample space for 10 guests. The house was a bit older and they were doing some work in the yard, but the house enormous and provided access to the beach below. I’d recommend and I would easily book here again.
Family get-together, ample space, peoperty managers very attentive Larger than we expected, with 2 queen beds in lower bedrooms. Matresses very comfortable, lots of towels Deck and kitchen are amazing. Ample parking. I'm sure it was an oversight, but our check in email didn't come until the night before.
This house had everything our family needed for a great stay.
The view is fantastic
Only down fall was that the staircase to the beach. It was a bit long and steep for seniors and small kids so we drove to a beach in the area to enjoy the beach and water with grandkids
Again the house it self was great
Great location and amazing view. Microwave didn’t work but we didn’t really need it. Could use some updates though all rooms were very comfortable. Lots of towels and tp which is always great. Onsite manager is a bonus.
First off the photos don't do this property justice!!! It was stunning and honestly wished to own it or something like it one day!!! Not just me but everyone that came was blown away and we all definitely will be coming back very soon!!! Thank you for the experience John and it was just a blessing!!! Can't wait to come back!!!
Great place to gather with adult family. The beach was sketchy with weird debris, but who can say what the tides may bring. The beds so comfortable, the kitchen well equipped, the deck a great gathering space. Bathroom fans are a bit loud but certainly not a deal breaker. I felt that we were supposed to have a five bedroom space. But the office it counts as a bedroom isn’t a private space. Still, our stay was pleasant and the place quiet and enjoyable.

The location of the 3-story house was picturesque. Stair access to the shore was a safe staircase down the bluff. The patio deck offered a perfect spot for birding. A bald eagle flew into the nearby pine tree. The main floor of house was well kept and clean. The upper and lower floors were not as well kept. The upper level staircase had debris and dirt on steps, close to the top of staircase. The upstairs and downstairs rooms were not dusted or vacuumed well. You could run your finger through the dust and the floors had debris and dirt in areas. The bathroom showers had mold on the grout and hair strands in the shower. The lower floor had damp towels in bedroom drawers and towels on top of the washing machine.

The property is located in a beautiful place...my only problem was the facility was not clean. mattress covers were stained as was the carpet in the bedrooms.
The kitchen was very dirty...popcorn on the floor, greasy counters and stove top, not one single pot holder or tea towel available. The drawer below the stove was really dirty and full of crumbs. Sad to see such a beautiful home lacking in cleanliness.
I expected a lot more from this property, for the price. It’s obvious to me that the owner has never actually stayed the owner says states that he’s never stayed in the property, and it definitely shows. This house needs some downtime, cleaning, updating, rearranging, revamping, sprucing up, maintenance, repairs, and everything that the property owner has been neglecting for years. I would look into other options unless this price point drops dramatically. The view is amazing but you live in the house.
I also found the owner very difficult to work with especially when discussing extending our stay. You can’t run out a property and control people in it at the same time, unfortunately, and this is why this property is vacant so often.

Let me start off by saying there are some upgrades and some minor repairs we need to perform on the house . But none of the repairs affect the function and use of the property . It is an old house that has been remodeled .
As soon as Sandra checked in she emailed saying she loves the place and offered to either lease the property for long term or purchase the house with an owner contract . I told her we are
Not interested in selling or leasing long term . But then she started sending a long list of items to upgrade or change per her taste in an effort to talk down the value of the house . The issue of decrimation even came up if she does not get to rent the house long term . So in the times of being politically correct I agreed to talk about terms for a potential lease contract but she assumed she already got an approval to move in long term by starting to order new internet service and move furnishings in . While she stayed at the house she completely rearranged all the contents of the house including taking down the crib , move sofas from one floor to another , dragging china cabinets across the room etc . As a result we have to pay more money to the cleaners to restore some of the things back . Some heavy items are still not restored yet . In short her stay there is a nightmare :
Spacious and beautiful home with an amazing view of the Sound! Being updated.
The lower level attached bathroom has been remodeled and the house completely repainted inside. We met the new maintenance and housekeeping managers who recently started the landscaping spring clean up and cleaning up the construction dust and paint drips. They are very friendly and helpful! Asked for a wish-list of any items needed since they're doing a refresh. We were happy to help. The new pots and pans in the kitchen were wonderful and the bed linens and towels were very clean and nice. The main level is very spacious and accommodated our large family well. There is bar seating in the kitchen for 10 and dining room seating for 8 with extra folding chairs if needed. You must be able to manage hard wood stairs to get to the 3 downstairs bedrooms and the upstairs bedroom and loft bed. The yard is just mud but it sounds like new grass seed or sod is in the works soon. We're coming back to the house again in August and are looking forward to it!
Left a streaming device at the property and notified the property owner same day as checkout, he said he would get back to me and never did. During that time 5 different family's have been using it, it is clearly at his rental property and he has essentially stolen from me.
Also took hours to send someone out after the kitchen fuse had blown and the fuse panel was sealed shut.
Also lacking in toiletries, soaps, towels etc which seem like pretty basic items to supply.
Stairs to beach are poorly maintained and don't seem safe to use, there was a bunch of garbage left behind in the backyard from previous guests on the day we checked in.

I am sorry we did not go out right away to find the item you left behind . I also told you you could go back and retrieve it at the house since you are local. But that clearly promoted your negative review as you said in your texts .
We celebrated our 10 year anniversary with a small group of family and friends and this space was wonderful, everyone had a fantastic time! Great space for gathering downstairs, great "introvert lounge" in the cozy couches upstairs, kitchen was large and so well situated for a group of our size, it was easy to cook, serve and eat all together. The beverage fridge/side snack area is such a great idea! The mini fridge unfortunately wasn't working while we were there, but the main fridge was large, beautiful and clearly new, so no problems.
Things I wish I'd known:
- Office bedroom upstairs is gorgeous! And is sort of private via a half wall and staircase but does not have a door, so not great for noise sensitive folks but honestly was perfect for our group.
- The spiral staircase is also beautiful, and a bit of a death trap for toddlers, a baby gate may come in handy!
- Mostly all kid friendly but no kid friendly cups or plates, so might be good to bring your own (or possibly the owner could add some less breakable options).
- We couldn't quite figure out what the bedroom layout was from the description, not a big deal, but for those that want to plan/figure in advance, bedroom layout is:
Upstairs - Upper Master and office (open)
Main Level - no bedrooms
Lower level - 3 bedrooms
We had a wonderful time and would recommend!

Disrupted vacation
We stayed here with a group of friends for a weekend wedding nearby. It’s a great house for that kind of gathering, with an open living space and spacious bedrooms – as depicted. However, we did not have the full property as promised, and weren’t notified in advance. The lawn had been fully removed to be re- sodded, meaning we had no outdoor space, and access to the beach was blocked. The outdoor space was an important reason we had decided to book this property in the first place because our group included two young children, and the outdoor space would have been somewhere for them to run around.
To make matters worse, the gardeners doing the landscaping work were on site throughout the weekend – again with no notification from the property owners. Two of the bedrooms sit level with the lawn, with big windows facing the back yard. This space should otherwise be entirely private but was not. One of the people in our party had taken a shower and gone back to his bedroom wearing only a towel, only to find two people standing just outside the window. To maintain privacy in the property we had to draw curtains and blinds closed, which was a real waste of beautiful weather, natural light, and the excellent views we’d been hoping to enjoy.
We all felt that with this disruption, the owners should have, at minimum, informed us and given us the opportunity to cancel without fees. Or they should have offered a reduced rate, as we couldn’t make full use of the property as promised.
