This is as close as it gets to ocean front without paying extra for it. The rear decks have views of the innner coastal waterway and large undisturbed natural area.
This new two story homes has it all. Every bedroom has a full private bathroom, TV with DVD player and access to outdoor observation deck. Two complete family rooms, one on first level and one on second level both sporting high definition flat screen TV’s is awesome after a day on the beach. The second level family room doubles as a fifth bedroom, just close the room curtain and pull out the hide a bed. This feature is very handy for large families.
The master suite is sure to please with a deluxe shower, Jacuzzi tub, large closet, desk with high speed internet connection and a king size bed with a perfect ocean view.
Designer kitchen with granite counter tops, stainless steel appliances, large kitchen table seats 8 with four additional bar chairs at island. Enjoy cooking while watching the ocean waves.
Access to your almost-private never crowded beach is in front of the home, just about 50 steps to the large sandy beach.

This is the most fabulous place my family and I have ever stayed. You have a perfect view of the ocean without feeling crowded by anyone. The placement of this home is perfect. You have a panoramic view of the entire beach, yet have privacy as well. The home is immaculate and very well built. The immenities listed don't do it justice. The layout of the rooms are perfect: 2 bedrooms downstairs, with bathrooms & two bedrooms upstairs. Then there is the "cleverly" made room in the upstairs den. There is a privacy curtain that makes a fifth bedroom. The upstairs den even has a fridge. All of the fans are remote control & the master bath is a designer bath. Everyone had to take a turn in the multi-fauceted spa-like shower. The bathroom is bigger than most bedrooms! I can't tell you how my family loved this place. "Mom, you did a great job picking out this place." Also, the owners are great easy to work with.
Recommended for:Families with teenagers, families with young children.

My family and I just returned from staying at this wonderful property and it is just fantastic. The write up on the property understates it. The house is at the end of east 4th Street. There are houses east of it. Each morning, my wife and I would walk on the beach to the end of the island to where the ocean and inlet meet. We would see no more than 5 people each morning. If you are to get up and see the sunset in the morning, you will also see deer running in the brush. I have rented many "oceanfront" houses for vacations. The walking distance from this house is as close to the beach as any of them. The interior of the house is wonderful. The bathroom in the master suite is to die for, it's that nice. Two large flat screen TV's in the family rooms. The kitchen is well stocked with everything that you will need. I will not hesitate to rent this house again and encourage anyone looking for a beach vacation in this area (40 minutes north of Myrtle Beach) to do the same. Paul

What an awesome house. The location is perfect, a close walk to the beach, close to the pier and a very quiet neighborhood. The kitchen was well equiped and the beds were extremely comfortable. The huge shower in the master bedroom was great.

If you don't rent this house,you are missing the opportunity to have the best property on the island. Have rented this house 3 times and have had a better time each time. The owner must put in a lot of time maintaining the property as it is always clean and nothing ever needs repairs. Again rent this house its worth every penny!
