Why the Owner Chose Park Station

Having a vacation condo in Park City has been a great addition to our family because we get to use it frequently with Park City only 20 minutes from our home. It is a fabulous summer retreat for Mountain Biking, Swimming at the beautiful tree lined pool and getting away from the hustle and heat of SLC. In the winter we enjoy having guests stay at our condo which is perfectly located near the Town Ski Lift and at the beginning of Main Street so a car is not needed to dine, ski or just walk to sites. It is fantastic. When choosing our condo we looked at a lot of choices around Park City, and hands down Park Station had the best location for convenience and usability. Hope you enjoy it as well.

I, Karen Porter, moved out to Utah in 1982 to go to college where I could ski and honestly, I skied lots and lots. Wow, had died I and gone to heaven. Coming from Montauk Point Long Island, I grew up on the water but always had a wonderlust for the mountains of the west. When I made it to Utah and experienced the best skiing of my life, I knew I had found home.

My husband Fred grew up in Pennsylvania and moved to Utah in 1997. Utah had a unique appeal to him since he could live in a city, continue his aerospace career and still ski and mountain bike ride before or after a day at the office.

I tease him that he came to Utah to find me! Fred and I met on a private ski hut trip in the Selkirk Mountain Range of Canada. From the minute I saw him I knew my life was about to change. Fred and I have been married almost ten years and we have an adorable son. I guess the rest it yet to come.

    • Great price for City Center Location! Within walking distance to all the finest nostalgia Park City has to offer. Shops, restaurants, museums, and other attractions. It was fun to see all the tiny diverse homes across and up and down the street. We visited in the summertime so we had access to the large outdoor pool. It was clean and warm, very fun. They also had a kiddie pool and a hot tub. We brought four children, Two slept in the second bedroom on two twin beds and two slept on the fold-out sofa sleeper. Beds were comfy. Cable TV & DVD players in each room and Cable TV & DVD and VHS in living room. We brought movies for the kids to watch. There's room to keep bikes out on the patio. Short drive to Park City Mtn. Resort where we played all day. Karen the owner was great to work with. Clean, comfortable, cozy, quiet, nicely decorated. Felt like home! We'd stay here again.

    • What a great surprise to find a really lovely apt waiting for us with everything in working order. Last years with a rental company was terrible. This apt is very quiet thanks to new windows & doors, terrific comportable beds & a great location to everything. Karen is always willing to provide extra things needed. Certainly would recommend it without any concern. The pictures are also very accurate in everyway.

New for the 2009/2010 season is two completely remolded bathrooms with custom travertine showers, granite vanities, high end fixtures and custom cabinatry.     • My group of friends and I had a wonderful experience staying Park Station. The convenient location and the fact the condo is just really nice made our trip to the Sundance Film Festival a year to remember. I hope that for our return next year that I will be able to snatch it up again.

    • This is one of the best 2BR 2BA condos at Park Station, it is very well maintained with comfortable furnishings,a nice kithen, and a big dinning area. We love the easy access to both the Town Lift and Main Street.

    • We have stayed at the Porter condo numerous times and have thoroughly enjoyed it every time. The layout of the unit is perfect for our family, and its proximity to the heart of Park City can't be beat. We hope to be back soon !!

      I spent an insane amount of time searching for the best condo in Park City for my family and myself this Spring ski season! And it paid off. This condo was all the ad said it was: clean, spacious, located just where it said, comfortable, and well furnished. Dealing with the owner was a joy,,,,no fake claims or hidden problems.
