Location: Killington, Vermont, USA (Five miles from Killington Access Rd, off Route 100 North) View Map
Accommodations: House, 3 Bedrooms + No additional sleeping rooms avail, 2 Baths (Sleeps 8)
Keywords: Duplex
Recently updated, tastefully decorated upper level duplex located only five miles to the Killington Access Road. This comfortable home is located on the VAST (VT Association of Snow Travellers) snowmobile trails and allows access from your driveway. The home offers beautiful mountain views from inside the large sliding glass doors or on the 50x12 expansive deck. Enjoy relaxing in the PRIVATE outdoor Jacuzzi after a fun-filled day of skiing, snowmobiling, snowboarding, or snowshoeing. OR you can just kick back and relax with a warming and refreshing drink.
The home is only five miles to the nightlife on the Killington Access Road, if you choose to leave. There are also restaurants within only a half mile. You may decide to prepare a meal in the fully stocked kitchen with new cabinets, granite center island, large refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, and toaster oven. And yes, there are plenty of good pots and pans and sharp knives that will not disappoint (We like to cook and eat!)
We stock the kitchen with paper towels, dish and dishwasher detergent, coffee filters, plastic wrap, foil, Ziploc bags, kitchen garbage bags, and we leave spices and some condiments. Also, there is laundry detergent, dryer sheets, hand soap, and toilet paper supplied...all of this makes a big difference when you start to pack the car! (and saves you quite a bit of money if you purchased upon arrival).
The kids will have a great time making a wonderland in the snow on the large property. We have a chair lift and tire swing which the kids love. If the kids still aren't tired at the end of the day, they can sled down "the hill" on the property.
Leave your ski gear in the mud room and walk into a relaxing, warm home. If you have a large family/group we also have a lower unit that sleeps 8 which is available for rental (click below on "All My Rental Listings") for more information.
Please note that we do not rent to groups aged 25 and below.

Skiers/Snowmobilers Delight with Outdoor Jacuzzi + Wi-Fi
Year Purchased: 2005
Why the Owner Chose Killington
Dean chose Killington because of his history with the mountain, but I choose it because it offers so much for people like me who want to ski, but sometimes need to do other things. Dean has been skiing at Killington since childhood with his family and as part of the Killington Ski team. He can't get enough of skiing and I can't get enough of the fabulous activities and wonderfull feeling of being in the Green Mountains.
Cross country skiing just a 10 minute drive (just a the base of the Access Road)
Access to Killington mountain ski lifts, golf courses, mountain biking, hiking, and ski lessons, etc. A ten minute drive to the Access Road: restaurant, rentals, various lodges.
Pico Mountain ski and adventure center. Ski during the winter, try the alpine slide in the summer.
Owner's Map of Killington
Dean and I are people who truly enjoy the benefits of Vermont, and particularly Killington. Dean has been skiing since he was a child, was part of the Killington ski team and still can't get enough. I'm still trying to keep up with him. We enjoy having our large family up to the house, but not just for skiing. We have the house ready for cooking big meals as well as for relaxing and playing at home. We hope that all who come to our home enjoy as much as we do. We take pride in our home and expect that anyone who rents will enjoy themselves.

While unfortunately I am unable to review the skihouse itself, I am able to review what kind of person you will be dealing with if you choose to rent this home. We had booked the skihouse for the week of Hurricane Irene. We were unsure what the conditions in Killington would be exactly. We contacted the renter the day of our scheduled arrival and she didn't even hesitate. Her only concern was for our safety and she refunded us the full amount of our rental agreement, including the cleaning and linen fees. We hope to be able to stay at this home during one of our future vacations!

wow, this place was great. 10 minutes to the mountain, nice mud room for our equipement, hot tub for after skiing, and more than enough room for all 8 of us. Also, we were big on cooking and bringing food rather than having to go out to eat all of the time, and we were pleasantly surprised to see that everything we could need for cooking and eating was already there. Not to mention, the owners were very pleasant to deal with. Like i said... everything we could've needed or wanted in a rental

A large group (of about 18) of us chose this place for our ski trip getaway for the MLK weekend. We were able to secure both the top and bottom units separately to make this happen, and we cannot give this place enough praise. Hot tub was perfect, the living/dining/kitchen area was huge and nicely renovated, two full bathrooms were definitely a plus. I ended up in one of the bunk beds and even at 6'2" I felt it was more than comfortable. All around we couldn't be happier, and Lori was very helpful in making the arrangement. Oh and it's a very quick drive to the actual ski mountain, like 12 minutes I'd say.

We had six people stay for three days and were all very comfortable. The hot tub was very nice after skiing. I highly recommend this house to anyone with 8 or less people. There is plenty of room and a bed for everyone. Price is also very reasonable and the mountain is only about a 15 minute drive up route 100.

This is a wonderful rental from all aspects. The home is beautiful, affordable, centrally located, and great for accommodating a group. Additionally, the owners were a pleasure to correspond with. Everyone in our group had an amazing weekend and would absolutely come again.
