2nd Time Vacationing At This Rental

This was our 2nd year renting this wonderful lake home. Once again the rental was very clean and inviting upon arrival. The entire week we had wonderful weather, and enjoyed ourselves on the chain of lakes. We love the location of this home on the lake, it is very ideal for swimming and skiing. We also love the pier at this rental, very large, and spacious. My personal favorite part of the home is the hammock down by the lake, so relaxing! At night time we enjoyed making smores down by the firepit, and watching the awesome sunsets. We also found it nice to lay on the pier and watch the numerous stars in the sky. The wildlife continues to amaze me, the deer come to the corn feeder numerous times a day. We love going to the Eagle River area because of the many excellent restaurants to visit, as well as places to go for entertainment. We love being on the chain of lakes because there are so many restaurants to go to by boat. So much fun. Being that we are large watersports enthusiasts we love to go and see the Chain Skimmers water ski show every summer. Their show is amazing. Overall, our week went by way too fast, and we look forward to staying at this wonderful rental once again for the summer of 2012!

We thoroughly enjoyed this Northwoods cottage. To me it seemed much more like a home. It is furnished beautifully in "Northwoods" style. The kids very much enjoyed having their own bedroom. As advertised, the deer were looking to be fed on our first morning at 6 AM. The chipmunks were not far behind. At night there are more stars in the sky than I have seen in a long, long time. We rented a boat for the week and spent the majority of the week on the beautiful chain of lakes skiing, tubing, and wakeboarding. OVerall, a great place to take a summer vacation. Charming cottage

We were so pleased with our stay at this well maintained cottage. Our children ages 13, 10, and 4 enjoyed feeding the chipmunks and the deer that came within feet of the cottage. Great location to Eagle River and Chain of Lakes access. We enjoyed campfires every night, fishing, swimming, boating and relaxing on the pier/hammocks. We hope to visit again!

A hidden treasure!

I have loved Eagle River since I was a child. I introduced this destination to my own family five years ago. This was our first non-resort stay and it was wonderful. The location is secluded yet close to downtown. My husband and I enjoyed morning walks, I enjoyed fishing off the pier (not great fish tales this time of year) and the kids loved feeding the local wildlife (great place for animal lovers). The house is charming and the neighbors are friendly. The lake is beautiful and sitting on the pier is sooo relaxing. The sound of the loons is unforgettable. The local manager is extremely friendly and helpful. A+++

Beautiful Northwoods Cottage

I had a wonderful stay with our family. The home has all the accomodations for an enjoyable time. The house was very comfortable, and was designed and decorated excellent. This was not your average rental. My family and I are nature lovers, and we enjoyed feeding the deer that came to the feeder every day, as well as feeding the chipmunks. My personal favorite was relaxing in the hammock down by the lake shore. The pier was top notch compared to other places that had previously stayed in. The location of the home was nice and close to the downtown shopping. I enjoyed all the cute shops. My favorite was the fudge shop! All week we had excellent weather, and enjoyed as much of it as we could outdoors. It seemed almost every night we had wonderful fires down by the lakeside firepit. I hope to be returning next year with my family.

We loved our stay. The cabin was neat and well cared for. It had everything needed for cooking and relaxing. Great pier with sandy bottom for swimming. Awesome views out of the many windows in the front and back of the house. What a week! My children ( 9 and 4 yrs) loved feeding the chipmunks and deer. I loved feeding the deer! Who needs a wildlife park? The chain is a great place to spend a week and this house was perfect for a family vacation on the water.

A perfect getaway

You could not ask for more. The house is well cared for, and has everything you need for an enjoyable stay. The pier, boat slip, fire pit, patio and hamocks made it easy to relax by the lake. Simply put: this property was perfect for our family. We rented a boat to enjoy the chain of lakes, and are already looking forward to next year's visit. I would highly recommend this property, and trust renting from this owner.

Beautfiul northwoods cottage remodeled for all of today's needs. I took my wife and two small children to stay and were extremely impressed by the accomodations. Location was prime with full water access on a fantastic chain of lakes. Rent a boat, bring it to the private dock and I promise you and your family will have a week of private bliss and memories!! The town has plenty of activities to keep the shopper and kids happy all at the same time. We found plenty of water view restaurants to dine when we were not enjoying the vast interconnected lakes. To some it up, the cabin was wonderful, charming, warm place to be with the family. I/we will be coming back to this wonderful getaway. I have been coming to Eagle River since I was a young girl. I have wonderful memories coming here as a child and wanted my own children to have the same. From the moment we walked into the lake home we all felt at home. I have three boys and not once during the week did they want to leave to go into town to go gocarting or horseback riding or shopping. The lake is nice and clean for swimming. Everyday we went jetskiing and fishing. And each night we had a campfire and made smores. The deer will be in the yard in the morning for their breakfast which the boys were happy to provide, we would all watch them eat. And then there are the chipmunks. The boys spent hours feeding and thinking of new tricks for the chippies to get their peanuts. The hammock was my 19 year old sons favorite spot. He spent lots of time reading and waiting for a deer to nudge him for a snack. I cannot think of another place we would rather be. Needless to say it was a sad day when we had to leave. I would recommend this home to anyone who wants to enjoy the northwoods and feel like home. We all want to come back next summer, the only change is to stay longer.
