    • I have been coming to Eagle River since I was a young girl.I have wonderful memories coming here as a child and wanted my own children to have the same. From the moment we walked into this lake home we all felt at home.I have three boys and not once during the whole week did they want to leave to go into town to gocart or horseback ride or shop. The lake is nice and clean for swimming.Everyday we went jetskiing fishing .And each nite we had a campfire and made our smores .The deer will be in the yard each morning for their breakfast which the boys were happy to provide,we would all watch them eatc. And then there are the chippies. The boys spent hours feeding and thinking of new tricks for the chippies to get there peanuts. The hammock was my 19 year old sons favorite spot .He spent lots of time reading and waiting for a deer to nudge him for a snack.I cannot think of another place we would rather be.Needless to say it was a sad day when we had to leave.I would reccomend this home to anyone who wants to enjoy the northwoods and feel like home. We all want to come back next year, the only change is to stay longer

    • Vintage cottage yet completely remodeled for all of todays needs. I took my wife and two small children to stay and were extremely impressed by the accomodations, location full water access on a fantastic chain lake on Eagle River. Rent a boat bring it to the private dock and I promise you and your family will have a week of private bliss and memories!! Next visit, if available, will be in winter season. I, being a snowmobile fan, had no idea prior to our visit this is one of the snowmobile capitals here in the USA. Trails abound for this great winter activity. The town has plenty of activities to keep the shopper and kids happy all at the same time. We found plenty of great water view restaurants to dine when we were not enjoying the vast interconnected lakes. To some it up, the cabin was a wonderful, charming, warm place to be with family and a few friends. I/we will be coming back to this wonderful getaway. You get everything you could possible want in such a beautiful setting. Hope you enjoy like my family did!!!! Jeff Stewart

    • This is one GREAT vacation home. Not only is it cute as can be it is like a home away from home. Everything you could ever need is there. The owner has tastefully furnished the home and it is cool in the summer and warm and cozy in the winter. Plenty of places to just relax, inside or out. If you like to fish or just sit on the dock in the sun this is the place. I have stayed in many "vacation homes" but this is BY FAR the nicest one ever. So don't hesitate to rent this home for a vacation you and those with you WILL NOT forget. JoAnne
