Why the Owner Chose The Prospector (aka Prospector Square Lodge)
We live in Park City and think that this location is superb.... it is in a great neighborhood, offering residents many restaurants within walking distance. The FREE Park City transit system stops right outside the door, and we are about a mile to everything (skiing, shopping, grocery, etc). The location could not be better.

This is our little family: a telemark skier, a snowboarder and a ...(well, it's anybody's guess at this point).
We are local “Parkites” who have worked in the travel industry and airline business for many, many years. Combined, we have spent an infinite number of nights on the road and in hotel rooms. We know what we like when we are away from home, and we have integrated it all into our two studio hotel rooms - right here in Park City, our favorite place in the world!
We’ve also put together a website ( go-parkcity. com ) to give you as much information as we could think of to help make your decision on whether or not to stay at one of our condos - and to help you figure things out once you do! If you can’t find the information you need, feel free to email us or call us at anytime. We are around most of the time, so you should expect an answer (or call back) fairly quickly.
Unlike most vacation rental owners, we are local, so if you have any problems or questions during your stay, feel free to contact us while you are here as well! We will do everything we can to make sure that you have a memorable vacation to Park City.

The evening staff were kind and helpful. It was a decent rental for the most part. However it earned 3 stars from me for the following reasons: - I had to wash some dishes before we could even eat out of them. - The shower had mold in it and the shower curtain was quite dirty. - We kept having to pull someone's long blonde/brown hair off of our belongings that were placed on some of the counters and beds. - It was quite apparent that the person who cleaned our room did not change our pillow cases, they simply turned the over pillows over. When I flipped them over before bed they clearly had someone else's strands of hair and dirt on them.....gross. If we're going to be charged a fee for the room to be cleaned, they should at least follow through with the service.
Owner response:WOW! I am so sorry to hear that. I use the same cleaning service I have used for the past 4 years. In this time, I have only had one complaint (as soon as the guests arrived), of which we responded to right away and had the room re-cleaned to their satisfaction. We pay a premium fee (much more than we charge our guests, actually) for this service and we trust that they do an excellent job and we frequently check in on the condos to inspect before new guests arrive (unfortunately we were not able to before your stay). If we had this compliant while you were here, we would have had the room re-cleaned right away. Again, we are so sorry to hear about this. For anyone else letting this review deter you from staying with us, please be assured that we do the best we can to maintain cleanliness in our condo and would absolutely resolve this issue if you would please tell us as soon as you arrive!

Super cute on the inside little ski condo, well kept and clean. Had everything we needed, especially loved using the kitchen!! Comfy beds and enough space for the two of us to move around and store ski gear. Very close to town, and only about 40 minutes from other ski resorts which we actually made a daily trip! The only complaint is the building is far from new (luckily you would never know this from the inside of this condo) and the hot tub hours weren't quite what the front office said they would be, but none of those things could be fixed by Stacey :) Can't complain, had a lovely stay, very soothing. Would recommend for a couple or small group of friends looking for a very reasonably priced ski condo!!!!!!!!!! :) thank you for sharing your condo with us!

I have stayed in this same unit 4 times in the last 2 years, my wife and i love it! The owner is so great to work with and very repsonsive. The place is very cozy and comfortable- we love the fireplace! Very clean, well maintained, nice property overall!
Recommended for:Romantic getaway, tourists without a car, people with disabilities, sightseeing, adventure seekers, girls getaway, age 55+, families with young children, families with teenagers.

We stayed in this condo in July, '08. The owner, Stacey, was very accommodating... The condo had everything we needed. The beds were very comfortable, surroundings cozy, and the pine trees off the patio were nice to hear blowing in the breeze at night. It's just a short drive to downtown PC....the travel sized amenities in the bathroom were appreciated. The kitchen cabinets, granite countertops, and flooring are all perfectly coordinated... Thanks, Stacey, for sharing your beautiful home with us... you did a wonderful job remodeling!
