This is a great 4 bedroom 3 bath house named "Reel-em Inn". Construction was completed on this home in January 2007. It is approximately 500 feet from the beach. Some of it's details below, but I can email you a link to a page where you can see it. It is located in the Fort Morgan area of Gulf Shores, close to four restaurants and about 20 minutes back into town, which is near everything.
There are two golf courses in the Fort Morgan area, Kiva Dunes and the Peninsula. Check-in is directly at the house. The address is 457 Buchanan Court West. I can send directions in your contract package once I know which directions you will be arriving from.
The house has some additional amenities that are not listed on the website. I have a picnic table downstairs along with an extra large hammock. There are beach toys and beach chairs, some rafts and boogie boards. There are 3 king beds and 1 queen bed. The house is not overly stuffed with beds, so it is very comfortable! Two of the rooms are considered master bedrooms as they have bathrooms directly attached to them. There is a front deck and a back deck. Both have patio furniture.
The beach is about 500 feet away and the house is located on a street that dead-ends into the beach (Gulf of Mexico). The house faces east, the gulf is to the south and Mobile Bay is to the north. The island is only two blocks wide in this area, so there is a view of both the gulf and the bay from both decks. You can fish directly from the beach, or you can crab from the pier approximately two blocks away.
This is a very family oriented area which is extremely relaxing. There is dish network in the living room and three of the bedrooms. The fourth bedroom has a TV with only local channels. All linens are provided. I keep 8 towels and bath cloths in each of the 3 bathrooms. Each bed has clean sheets on the bed, (ready for a nap, if you like!). All dishes, silverware, appliances, pots and pans are provided. There is a starter roll of tissue in each bathroom and a starter roll of paper towels in the kitchen. Just bring your paper products, food, hair dryer, clothes and medicines and you should be set.
