This is a deluxe condominium. This apartment has recently been painted and carpeted and furnished with exquisite furniture and Limoges dishes as a self-catering holiday rental. It is located in the romantic town of Cassis on the Mediterranean sea. It has two bedrooms with queen-size beds and one bedroom with a bunk bed. It has two and a half bathrooms. It sleeps six. The building has a pool which is available to renters and plenty of parking. The apartment is at a seven minutes walk from the town center. The view from the living room is gorgeous: you see the old harbour, the 12th century castle and the 380 meter cliff (Cap Canaille). Cassis is well known for the Calanques (Fjords in Norse) in the white clifts between Cassis and Marseille. The old harbour is the most prettier harbour on the Riviera, to such an extent that it is said that: 'Who has seen Paris but not Cassis has seen nothing' which in Provencal translate to 'Que a vista Paris et noun Cassis na ren vista'. People visit Cassis for romantic dining, hiking, water sports, cycling.
Cassis is in the heart of Provence, 30 minutes from Marseille and Aix-en-Provence, 60 minutes from Arles & Avignon, 90 minutes from Cannes/Nice.
The town produces an excellent white wine, wineries are all over town.

  • If I could go back tomorrow, I would. Everything was perfect. We concur with all the previous positive comments. The apartment is very well appointed with everything a person could possibly need. We felt like we were living in a friend's home rather than a rented apartment. Brigitte and your neighbors, especially those living just below, were warm and welcoming. It was a pleasure to use your beautiful china and crystal to serve the dinner created using local products from the Friday market. We appreciated your extensive notes and machine instructions.   • For the second time we stayed at the beautiful apartement of Roland Autran in Cassis It is very comfortable and you really have a splendid view at cassis and it's harbour ; bring your binoculars and you will keep looking !! Besides that Cassis is a very charming place where you can do a lot of spectacular things, you can visit the calanques as a regular tourist by boat, but it is much more fun to go there on foot, hiking through a marvellous nature or go by a (rented) kayak if you are not afraid to get wet ! At the harbor you will find lots of good restaurants where you can eat very good at reasonable prices in a very romantic ambiance. Cassis is a place to come again ... and again ...

  • This apartment is spotless and very well laid out. It is very nicely furnished, with good comfortable beds. The pool is bigger than it looks in the photos, very clean, and has a ledge in the shade on the side to rest from the sun. There is slight noise from the highway below, but the predominant sound is that of the cicadas. Cassis is a lovely, very popular town and the apartment is a very convenient 7 minute walk away. I should add that the concierge ("gardiene" in French, I believe)Mme Fougeray, was extremely kind and helpful, and helped make our stay a very pleasant one.

  • "My family and I travel quite a lot around the world. Most of the times we stay at hotels. However, this was the first time we choose to stay at a holiday apartment and we loved it ! The apartment is much nicer than it looks on the pictures. The nicely furnished and quite big. The beds were amazing. Everything was very clean especially the bathrooms. The kitchen was fully equiped. However, the best part of this apartment is the balcony. It offers you a fantastic overview of Cassis, with its habour and the serentiy of the mountains. The sun set is wonderful. I recommand this apartment to anybody who travels with his or her family or couples. Me and my family will definitly visit again and hopefully we will able to visit it very often in the future. "

  • We had a wonderful time in Cassis and in Roland's beautiful apartment. The views from the apartment are incredible and the location is very convenient to Cassis and the delightful surrounding areas. The apartment is very nicely decorated, extremely clean, and very comfortable. We enjoy cooking and the kitchen was well equipped and laid out to prepare meals.   • This is a lovely apartment in an equally lovely little seaside town. We had a superb time there. The apartment has a spectacular view and is a wonderful place to enjoy the sunset. It is spacious, comfortable, beautifully decorated, meticulously maintained, and very well equipped. Mr. Autran had taken great care to make our stay enjoyable and worry free. Highly recommended.

The condo was clean, spacious, comfortable, and nicely decorated. Above all, the view from the condo was truly spectacular. Cassis was a perfect spot as we loved the town but we were also able to plan day trips to nearby cities and attractions. We truly hated to leave Cassis and the condo. The weather was really perfect and we could do a lot of pleasant things, like walking to the calanques ( never did that before ) At the apartement everything was okay. We made pictures of the view from your balcony, I will send you a few, made with a 200mm telelens.     Cher M. Autran, Je viens de rentrer à Paris et a pu prendre votre message qu'aujourd'hui. Nous avons été très heureuses dans votre appartement et souhaiterions le relouer l'an prochain (dates encore non déterminées) et allons certainement le recommander. Nous n'avons utilisé qu'une seule chambre, pour des raison pratiques (une seule literie) et avons laissé l'appartement dans une excellent étatt, encore plus propre qu'à l'arrivée !!! Je connais bien la région, aussi, c'était un plaisir que d'avoir un appartement spacieux et bien situé. Si jamais nous décidions de relouer, seriez-vous intéressé à conserver un tarif avantageux comme cette année ? Pour répondre à vos questions et pour ajouter quelques commentaires: Points forts: très spacieux, lumineux, équipement adéquat et de bonne qualité, très bien situé, prestations de bonnes qualités. Tarifs corrects pour 2 personnes puisque rabais donné. Nous avons dépassé le 100 euros par jour, ce qui est au mmaximum du budget pour deuxpersonnes, mais si nous avions été plusieurs, cela aurait été très bien. Points faibles: moquette dans les chambres. Nous avons beaucoup d'amis installés ici en France comme au Canada, et nous allons recommander sans faute votre appartement.
