For more space and privacy, we have three choices of 2 separate Studio units with full bath and kitchenette &/OR 1-bedroom /1-bath unit with kitchen and living room area.
What's the difference, you ask?
Well, the 'size' is. The 4BR home sleeps up to 10 comfortably, depending on size and age.
The 2 separate Studio units can sleep 2 people on one sofa bed, comfortably in each.
The 1-bedroom unit may accommodate up to 4 people comfortably.
Where else can you find a paradise fit for the whole family?
We are two houses away from a secret white sandy swimming beach, a favorite spot for the locals in the area. Depending on the season, you may encounter various sea creatures that are protected under the Endangered Species Act. While we cannot guarantee this wonderful experience during your stay with us, the most recent sighting of the Hawaiian Monk Seal was in February of 2013 on our beach. The Hawaiian Green Sea Turtle and the Hawaiian Monk Seal are very commonly sighted on this beach. During the winter months you may be lucky enough to witness, 300 to 400 yards from the shoreline, the Humpback Whales, as they migrate through to their next destination.
A little further down the beach is a local favorite surf spot, Pounders. We are also minutes to famous attractions such as Polynesian Cultural Center, Kualoa Ranch, Chinaman's Hat, Crouching Lion, Haleiwa Town, Turtle Bay Resort Health Spa and Golf Course, just to name a few.
This renovated, large two story, 4 bedroom beach home has a full kitchen and 1.5 baths with two reserved parking. With your two Lazy Boy Recliner Sofas, you'll want to stay indoors and watch television equipped with a home theatre sound system. However, the sound of the surf, mingled with the delicious aroma of bbq cooking on the grill will draw you outdoors.
The upstairs master bedroom suite has a king sized bed with magnificent ocean views and vaulted ceilings.
The full kitchen includes everything you need to prepare a lavish meal. All you'll need is your chef skills and the right ingredients.
We are surrounded by mesmerizing sunrises and sunsets with cool, tropical ocean and mountain breezes. We are only a short stroll away from one of the most gorgeous beaches on the island. Private, yet well-known only to those fortunate and familiar with the area, we are situated in a cul-de-sac just steps away from the private entrance to Alligator Pond, as it is fondly called. It is there that you can swim, snorkel, fish, body board, boogie board, sprawl out or snooze to your heart's content. (but don't forget the sunscreen, if that's the case.)
You can return home to the convenience of our outdoor shower. We also have a laundry room with a full size coin-op washer and dryer for your personal cleaning needs. An outdoor area where the kids can play and the adults love to barbecue. Be lazy and sit around the oversized lanai and front porch. Soak in the tranquil and soothing air as you relax while taking in the beauty of the mountains and coconut trees in view.
You can relax and unwind, sipping mai-tais near the beach or take a scenic drive to Haleiwa Town at the North Shore or Windward Mall in Kaneohe. Either way is only a 30 minute drive. Walking distance, across the street, is our grocery shopping store, some eateries and our local post office. No need for a car. You'll find everything you need just minutes away. In addition, the Circle Island bus stops just several feet away to whisk you around the island, if you desire.
Of course, down the road, on the way to Haleiwa, or even in the other direction, you'll find more lovely beaches to surrender to.
As a bonus, you will have exclusive access to an authentic Native Hawaiian Practitioner, trained in the ancient Hawaiian Healing arts of Lomilomi, La'aulapa'au and Kino Ho'oponopono, by appointment only.
If you're looking for something off the beaten path, tired of the crowded beaches and the hustle and bustle of city life, this is your calling. Keep in mind, Waikiki is only an hour away.
This will definitely be a down-home local and truly 'Hawaiian' experience.

Beautiful place next to an idyllic beach, and far away from the tourist scene. The neighbors was friendly, the water was safe (even though it's in the north, the big waves broke far from shore), and the landlords were outstanding and accommodating in every way. We were a total of 10 people in our twenties, 4 bedrooms and 2 slept in the living room on a mattress and a sofa-bed. The kitchen and outdoor patio/grill were well utilized thanks to the grocery store nearby (and a bigger Foodland a few minutes north, and many shrimp shacks nearby). The TV and their DVD collection was great after a long days of hiking and boogie boarding. We split our time between here and the south shore (waikiki, hanauma bay) and I personally enjoyed our time around this house the most. We had rented cars although you can get around slowly via bus. Overall this is an excellent and affordable place to stay for any group of 8-10 people.Recommended for: Families with young children, romantic getaway.
Owner response: Much mahalo to all of you and the great review!! We are so happy that you were able to appreciate the difference between "town and country" here on our island. We also love the peaceful and serene beach that we can proudly call our "backyard". After a long day of the "tourist" stuff, it's always nice to come back to the relaxation and comfort of your own home away from home. It was such a pleasure having you here. We look forward to your return! With warmest aloha, Geri & Ke'Alii - Hawaiian Dreams.

Beautiful beach, great neighborhood, perfect location. We couldn't have asked for a better place! The house was just the right size for our family and it was great to have all the comforts of home here. We look forward to our yearly visit and now that we have discovered your place, we won't be looking any further for future trips. Walking along the beach was a favorite pastime, no crowds and away from the usually busy, people-filled shores of other beaches in Hawaii. It was nice to have the sand and ocean all to ourselves most of the time. =) We had everything we needed and if we didn't, all we had to do was ask. Grocery shopping and good eateries were only minutes away. Everyone had such a fantastic time and I would recommend this home to anyone looking for a wonderful place to stay in the best location on the island for an unbelievable price!!! We shall return.Recommended for: Sightseeing, tourists without a car, girls getaway, families with young children, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with teenagers.
Owner response: Mahalo Nui Loa!! For putting your trust in us and our much loved home. We raised our family here in this very house, in this great neighborhood, so we are very proud to have the opportunity to share our dear home with other families. Our goal is to make you feel comfortable and "at home", no worries and stress free. That's what a vacation is all about. When you stay with us, you are Ohana (family). We look forward to your return!!! Warmest aloha and blessings!!

Although the beach is close , i would like to have been closer for the kids to enjoy it right from the lanai. What made our experience more enjoyable was the attitude and personality of Ke'alii and Geri. They were very accommodating and helpful the couple of times we needed. They were also invisible when not needed. The house was nice and had enough room for our large family. The back yard was big enough for us to eat and hang out when not at the beach. Very close to shopping. Definitely worth itOwner response: Mahalo Kimo & Ohana! We appreciate all the kind words and so glad you all had a great time. Even though we are not directly on the beach, we are just a hop, skip and a jump away! After all, it's only 27 steps. =) And you must give credit to the fact ours is one of the best beaches on the island! Glad you found the yard and house big enough for your family to feel comfortable and relaxed, we aim towards a perfect place for ohana and friends to stay together. Look forward to seeing you again in the near future. Warmest aloha, Geri & Ke'Alii.

We stayed at this property over a long weekend and had such a great time. We were 3 families with kids (baby, toddlers and teen) and found that sharing the 1.5 bathrooms was fine, even with day visitors. The outdoor shower was great in helping us keep the sand out of the house. And we really made great use out of the small charcoal grill -- even had smores for dessert. Everything was clean and as described (or better than) on the website. Geri and Ke`Alii were so gracious, responsive, and accommodating, even allowing us to park a 3rd car on their property. The porch area was so nice to gather for meals and for nighttime relaxing once the kids were all in bed. They even had a small, low folding table for the kiddies to sit at for meals. Although the kitchen was on the smaller side, it was big enough for two of us to prep and cook at a time. The area was quiet and not much car or pedestrian traffic. Tamura's (walking distance) and Foodland were nearby for those forgotten items. Most of the time we had no idea what time of day it was, and that was just fine for our beach getaway. Thank you Geri & Ke`Alii for enabling us to have such a wonderful time. Hope you enjoyed the grinds!Recommended for: Families with young children, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with teenagers.
Owner response: Many, many mahalos Luci! Being from our island, we are especially appreciative of your review, so kind of you! We began this, knowing we would be loaning out our home, because it's not just a house, it's "our home". We have a saying, "we welcome you as guests, but you leave as family...". All the love and all the good spirit that we shared in the home before moving, is part of the whole package. We are so happy that you "get it". Please honor us with your presence again - and yes, your grinds were FABULOUS!!! :D Warmest aloha, Geri & Ke'Alii

I had family members that came from all over the mainland to stay with me. Since my tiny condo wouldn't suffice, I thought renting a house would be a great alternative. And it was. We rented the main house unit and unlike other houses up north, this one was very peaceful and there wasn't a lot of traffic around that would hit up the normal touristy beaches. However because we were up north, those beaches were reasonably close when we wanted to visit them. The house served as a great home base and I would recommend it for anyone looking to get away from the hustle and bustle of Honolulu. Geri and Ke'alii were also very great hosts. They checked to see if there was anything we ever needed and made the entire stay very accommodating. All and all my family and I really enjoyed our time together and the house was definitely a huge factor in making that possible.Recommended for: Sightseeing, girls getaway, families with young children, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with teenagers.
Owner response: Aloha Chai! We are so very pleased and appreciate your fantastic comments. It's true, due to our location on the northeast shore, we are situated in a private and peaceful area with a beautiful mostly secluded beach. However, other choices of north shore beaches are only minutes away for those days you want to trek out of the area. Another great factor, as you mentioned is our location away from the main highway and heavy traffic areas which provides the privacy and calm, yet only steps away from our sought after beach. We thank you for staying with us and look forward to seeing you again soon! With aloha, Geri & Ke'Alii

Hi Geri and Ke'alii We had a wonderful time at your beach house. Our friends also enjoyed themselves as well as the kids. The beach house was really pretty and so was the 1 bedroom we stayed in. We had fun with our friends relaxing at the beach during the day and also at night. It was so convenient since it's only 2 houses away. We would love stay there again. Thanks again! Thank you so much for your hospitality, Geri and Ke'Ali! It is an unforgettable week for all of our family members. (Sorry that the review is so late...!) We rented all properties for our group of 15 people. (Four families with children ranging from 2 to 10.) The location was nice to go to either Honolulu or the North Shore area and also convenient to have stores in a walking distance. It is absolutely better than staying in the commercialized Waikiki area so that you could enjoy the real Hawaii. The beach was great, too, for our little people to enjoy. Just about every day, we went to the beach. It was close enough that even my 4-year-old could walk back home by herself. The owner's family was very friendly, too, and our daughters made good friends with them. I am so happy that I found your property. Thank you again and hopefully, we will see you all again!Recommended for: Sightseeing, families with young children, adventure seekers, families with teenagers.

Thank you so much, Geri and Ke'alii! The house and beach were perfect! Thank you so much for being such friendly and amenable hosts - and for amiably humoring our many special requests. For potential renters: we rented the 4BR and the 1BR for our family of 8 adults and 5 kids (ages 1-9). We spent a lot of time hanging out on the front lanai/porch, bonding in the cozy 4BR living room, BBQing in the backyard, and swimming at the beach. The kids LOVED alligator pond and the shorebreak at Kokololio beach. My parents (seniors 65+) originally stayed in the studio apt, which has a pull-out couch, so they later switched to 1BR (thank you Geri, and Ke'alii!) which is very nice and has a full bed, which made them feel much more comfortable. All in all: a great week - would definitely stay here again!! Mahalo!!Recommended for: Sightseeing, girls getaway, families with young children, adventure seekers, families with teenagers.

Words can not express how happy my family and I were with this unit. We miss everything about this place and can't wait to return on our next vacation. From all of the stars in the night sky to the majestic clear blue waters just a few steps from the front door. If you want the chance to see Hawaii's true awe-inspiring beauty you need not look any further. I would recommend this vacation rental to all of my family and friends. Thank you Geri and Kealii for your warm hospitality!Recommended for: Sightseeing, tourists without a car, girls getaway, families with young children, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with teenagers.

We had a group of 9 adults celebrating my parent's 50th wedding anniversary. We were a little concerned about the 1.5 baths for 9 people, but we had no problems at all. The location was wonderful - beautiful very private beach where we got to watch the sunrise every morning, close to the North Shore or Honolulu (we preferred the North Shore). It was very nice to be in a local neighborhood rather than a touristy hotel district. The shave ice and shrimp truck were excellent! Owners were right next door if we needed anything.Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 0/0
