Located overlooking John's Folly Bay and the British Virgin Islands, this home is a 3 minute walk from Salt Pond Beach and the well known hike to Ram's Head and other delights of the island which is 2/3 National Park.
The unique Force-10 design along with extra insulation and ceiling fans throughout keeps this house cool and comfortable even on the hottest of Carribean days making it possible to lounge on the teak and bamboo furniture all day in comfort and study the marine life in the bay below or watch the sailboats plying their way among the BVI.
Along with a small pool the large, tiled deck has tables, chairs and lounges allowing for outside dining and relaxing. Each room has spectacular views and the layout provides privacy for two couples.
The owners provide snorkeling equipment, telescopes and binoculars, beach chairs, sarongs for the beach, cd/video/paperback library, games, organic shampoos and soaps to help you enjoy your stay.

Year Purchased: 2001
Safia & Don currently spend 8 months a year in their dream come true home in St John.
The rest of the their time is split between a loft in lower Manhattan and a cabin in the wilds of northwest New Jersey.
Beas Maison is named in honor of Don's Mom, Beatrice, with a nod to Safia's upbringing in France.
We spend our time here on the island from mid-September to early May working on the house and garden; we try to make a major improvement each year. All this, of course, is in addition to enjoying the beauty and beautiful people of St John.
We view our rentors as guests sharing our home rather than as a business enterprise and open our future retirement home to others as a way to offset expenses.
We truly love and enjoy our home, Beas Maison, and have found that our guests end up feeling the same way
