Aloha and welcome to Mika Mizu, serenity in Hilo. Here you will experience a unique and memorable Hawaiian vacation. Mika Mizu is a spacious one-bedroom cottage (we suggest 2 guests, however, it will accommodate up to 3.) Mika Mizu is located on an estate with two waterfalls, abundant flora and fauna and in a soothing, natural setting. It is less than a mile to historic downtown Hilo, yet you feel far removed. All furnishings are new as of February, 2009. The cottage is stocked with amenities. Provided for you are spices and cooking staples in an efficiency kitchen with a full size refrigerator, a built-in 2-burner stovetop, a microwave/convection oven, a toaster and a gas BBQ grill for outdoor cooking. Also provided are both high speed internet and WiFi, and cable TV. It has been tastefully furnished in a casually elegant style, creating a very congenial ambience for your comfort and enjoyment. At these extremely low rates, you will be amazed at this wonderful vacation find.

Jamie & Noi: We had a wonderful stay at Mika Mizu. We enjoyed cooling off in the beautiful waterfall. Mika Mizu is in a great location and we were able to take many day trips to explore this side of the island and return to such a peaceful place. What a gorgeous hideaway this is! Mika Mizu is just as beautiful as its name is mysterious. We felt as though we were living in a picture postcard. The waterfall & pond are even better than we imagined - what a magical "secret" place! We hope to return someday and spend at least a full week here. Thank you! We had a great time at Mika Mizu! It was a great place to call home while we were away from our home. It was nice that the fridge had some items in it so that we didn't have to purchase as much to complete a meal. If we are able to come back to Hawaii this would be the top of our list for places to stay. Guest city-state/province: Iowa

Jamie & Noi: This is our second stay at Mika Mizu and we love it. This time we were able to explore the grounds and I swam in the waterfall pool everyday. This was a superb 65th birthday gift.
