Aloha and welcome to Mika Mizu, serenity in Hilo. Here you will experience a unique and memorable Hawaiian vacation. Mika Mizu is a spacious one-bedroom cottage (we suggest 2 guests, however, it will accommodate up to 3.) Mika Mizu is located on an estate with two waterfalls, abundant flora and fauna and in a soothing, natural setting. It is less than a mile to historic downtown Hilo, yet you feel far removed. All furnishings are new as of February, 2009. The cottage is stocked with amenities. Provided for you are spices and cooking staples in an efficiency kitchen with a full size refrigerator, a built-in 2-burner stovetop, a microwave/convection oven, a toaster and a gas BBQ grill for outdoor cooking. Also provided are a computer with both high speed internet and WiFi, a printer/scanner/fax machine, and cable TV. It has been tastefully furnished in a casually elegant style, creating a very congenial ambience for your comfort and enjoyment. At these extremely low rates, you will be amazed at this wonderful vacation find.

However, nothing can compare to seeing & experiencing this place in person. The secluded road, lush surroundings, romantic atmosphere, perfect size of the cottage, the tasteful furniture/decor, the surprise welcome treats, even the lighting & faucet fixtures...all were admired/appreciated & added to our enjoyment. You have truly thought of little extras...first aid kit, sewing kit, ice chest...that helped to make our stay worry-free. Reed's Island is located close to many of the attractions we visited in Hilo.
