My family and my parents stayed here for the Labor Day weekend and couldn't have been happier! Don't let Ruby fool you- this place is far from "nothing fancy". Beautifully laid out inside- very comfy beds and great sitting areas. The two decks have birdseye views of the marina, the ramp and the lake- it was great to just kick back and watch! The house is situated at the back of the cove behind the marina so no boat wakes, no traffic, no jetskis or other disturbances. My kids swam all day and never had to worry about anything. The dock is great and the nice carpeted platform made for a great place to flop after swimming. It's quiet, peaceful and cozy. The beds were great, the house was well stocked and we had a blast. Definitely on our list of places to revisit. The cost was awesome considering the facilities and well worth it. I could go on but don't want to belabor the point. It has everything you'll need for the trip to the lake- satellite TV, flat screen, home theater sound, modern kitchen with all the goodies. LOVED IT! Thank you so much Ruby and Mike for letting us use your home- it was great.

Experienced a highly pleasant stay recently at #228407. Chose location to get away and relax and it was all and more it promised to be. Upon arrival to home was suprised on the size much larger than picture demoed., home and rooms.Home accommadated 2-8 (ages 2 to 50 )people overnight comfortably w/ one master bedroom w/ walk in closet connected to the BR, one bedroom had twin beds and large closet w/ drawers and one w/ dble bed dressers and closet. Never used the blow up queen matrees for x-tra guests. One bathroom up and one downstairs made privacy and availabiltiy user friendly. Large washer and dry made life easier.Multiple family members from ages 1-65 visited us while staying there. High chair and baby gate were supplied which I never thought of.The grill made cooking out simple w/ immediate access to the kitchen and covered patio -patio had a table w/ 4 chairs -Table fo 6 in the eat in kithen or you could eat on any deck area or at the table by the lake. The views were charming in the morning and through out the day with easy access to the decks from the 3 large patio doors upstairs and the on large patio door downs stairs -never felt like you were in a box -open and airy. Being back off the main lake kept us away from the rough waves coming in when the lake was busy,so we enjoyed swimming and fishing off the covered piers and floaing deck at all times.(Piers were lit up for night fishing and night swimming to) When it rained we could still fish w/ the covered pier, docks accommadated 3 boats at one time.(speed-pontoon-fishing).NO weeds and crystal clear water. Kids loved it and so did all the adults. Satelite TV made my sports family happy. All that needed to be brought was food -clothes-personal hygiene-misc toys(kids and adults) to play-fishing gear. otherwise it was just like home w/ daily needs met.We had more family come so we walked to the Spring dock Marina rented another boat . Kids walked there each day to go get ice cream and other misc items(you forgot it they have it). 9miles from Lafoulette for my family that did not enjoy constant lake atmosphere and wanted town activity(shopping-bowling-movies-resturants) Low traffic on the house road for easy walks and bike rides, good place to stay in shape. Clean area felt safe.Came stressed left relaxed adn care free. Will return.
