The ground floor features 2 master bedroom suites, each with a king bed, large, private bathroom and porch access. The largest master opens to a 20’ x 16’ porch beautifully accented by the lush greenery of the State Park with seating to enjoy the sound of the birds while drinking your morning coffee. The second master opens to a 10’ x 16’ screened porch, which also can be accessed from the main hallway extending the length of the home. Also on the ground floor, you will find a laundry room equipped with high capacity washer and dryer, ample storage and a sink; a bunk room with 2 sets of bunk beds; and a queen bedroom with a full bath accessed both from the bedroom and the hallway.
The second floor features a spacious open living area with towering ceilings accented with dark wood and five distinct functional spaces: a living room arrangement surrounding the wood burning fireplace; a den area equipped with a wall-mounted flat screen TV; a dining table with seating for 12; a gourmet kitchen with 2 islands and seating for 4; and a small reading nook. The living room opens to a large open porch (20’ x 16’) offering great views of the gulf with comfortable seating, vaulted ceilings and a gas grill. The adjacent screened porch (10’ x 16’) has a large dining table for those nights that you wish to dine al fresco. The kitchen has upscale appliances, granite counters, 2 sinks, 2 dishwashers, 2 refrigerator/freezers, a wine cooler, and an ice maker. Also on the second floor, there is a queen bedroom with private bath and a 2nd bedroom with 2 twin beds, adjoining bath and a spiral staircase to a loft with a flat screen TV and bean bag chairs, perfect for children of all ages.
The third floor staircase landing contains table that converts to a poker table. Perfect for poker games, card games, puzzles, backgammon, or extra seating at dinner time. The landing overlooks the dining area in the great room below.
The fourth floor cupola features a unique gathering space for unwinding in the afternoon or lounging about during the day. The views of the gulf are breathtaking. Enjoy the cozy couch, sit at the bar style table or step outside to feel the gulf breeze. There is a wet bar and mini-fridge with icemaker for your convenience.
The carriage house is an escape all on its own, with a full kitchen, living area, king bedroom, bathroom and washer/dryer. The living area has a sleeper sofa and flat screen TV. This luxurious suite is perfect for a small family or a quiet escape from the activities of the main house.
If you need a shower upon your return from the beach, there is a luxurious outdoor shower located in an enclosed space behind the golf cart garage. There is also a half bath accessed from outside.

Why the Owner Chose WaterSound Beach
Leslie and I have been traveling to the Gulf all of our lives. My parents lived in Fort Walton Beach at one point and Leslie's father grew up in Pensacola. We love this part of the country and feel that the beaches are some of the prettiest in the world. We feel that Watersound is the most unique setting along the Gulf Coast. With the Dune Preservation in the front of the community, the rolling dunes make for one of the most picturesque places we have ever seen. It truly is magical.
The Unique Benefits at this House
The privacy of our home is hard to come by along 30A. The back of home is adjacent to Deer Lake State Park, so we have no neighbors to our rear. The trees offer shade to the first floor bedrooms and porches. The sound of the birds is very soothing in the morning. We are also adjacent to a vacant lot filled with trees adding to the serene setting.
Private Beach Club. House guests have priviledges at minimal cost.
