  The description by the owner is right on target. It was beautiful in a perfect location, two blocks from the Silver Queen Gondola on Aspen Mountain, ski in to one block away. Two blocks to the Rubey Park bus terminal for shuttles to the other 3 mountains. The unit is primarily below grade, but there are windows that let in natural light. If a view is important, it's not for you. If you like quiet, it's perfect. It was immaculately kept, and better than fully equipped. The owners were a pleasure to work with. It will be a first choice when we return to Aspen. Highly recommended.

  My family and I stayed here late February/early March 2013 for our annual Aspen ski trip. The owners were very easy to communicate with and were super friendly. The location is very convenient to Ruby Park and the gondola (less than a 5 minute walk). Aspen restaurants and nightlife are all very easy to walk to. The condo was spacious for a family of four, very clean, well appointed and quiet. The second bedroom requires a bit of negotiating up a narrow spiral staircase, which is good for privacy. My kids' requirement of a heated pool and hot tub were satisfied. The common pool is a few steps from the unit and was rarely occupied. The only downsides are the lack of a view (garden level unit) and the walk slightly uphill to the unit after a long day of skiing. But, I'm from Chicago and the altitude even makes climbing a couple flights of stairs challenging. My family and I wouldn't hesitate to return and highly recommend this property.

  Stayed at this newly renovated condo, 3/7/13-3/15/13 and our stay was wonderful! Perfect location in town - close to everything. The condo itself was perfect for our family, add an extra and it is a little tight. The upstairs bedroom was a nice size suite, but open to rest of the condo, which works well when you want teenagers up and ready when the lifts open! The condo was equipped with everything you need! Wonderful condo & would definitely stay here again! Thanks Janis & Brian for sharing your condo in Aspen with us!

  Excellent unit. Very clean and very quiet. A two block walk uphill from ski bus pickup center, so a ski person needs to understand it is not far from all things in Aspen, but there will be some uphill walking going to the condo. Would stay again. Very well equipped, with adequate supplies also of the basics for kitchen use. Very friendly and responsive owners.l

  We had the most wonderful stay at this terrific condo in Aspen. It is the perfect location, so so close (150m) to the the main town of Aspen, including the supermarket, restaurants, mountain shuttle stops, shops. Our hosts were so very helpful and prompt and we arrived to a spotlessly clean condo with everything we could have ever needed including many small things like, tea/coffee, P&P, cling wrap, foil, soap, etc that make it easy. It was gorgeously warm and comfortable and very reasonably priced. We will definately be recommending this condo and service to friends.

  The unit was recently renovated. Baths and Kithcen were upgraded, each done very well. Two comments; it is not apparent from the description that 1) it is a lower unit (below grade) without views to the outside and 2) that the guest bedroom is on the second floor, connected by a spiral stairway that might be difficult to use if you were old or young. Otherwise well worth the money.

  Recommended for: Families with teenagers, girls getaway, sightseeing.

  We had a great time in Upscale Condo Located at the Base of Aspen Mountain with my son. The landlords are excellent people, they gave us an incredible break on the price and still keep in touch with us. We truly enjoyed the trip at our condo. Thank you so much Janis and Brian for your hospitality and great place.
