Fantastic House, plenty of room

We stayed with a large group of friends for Biketoberfest and with very little going on for the event, we spent lots of time at the house, lounging around the pool, enjoying the fantastic view of the ocean from the back balcony, playing on the beach and cooking up a storm. The kitchen was extremely well stocked, even with a family sized crock-pot. The microwave was not working, but I called the property manager and she took care of it right away. It was great that the rental fee included all the bed linens, too. Most of the rental properties require you to rent the linens and towels separately. Great location, great price, great time.

GREAT BEACH RENTAL

What a blast to stay in this lovely home for our family vacation! My brother and 1 sister never left the property lines the entire week! Even our 76 year old mom played in the surf, and we all swam in the pool. Everything we needed was here! Great space, we could all converge in the open area or you could get away from the crowd by going to the second family room area. I note, please remind everyone what kind of game system is there in the house. I forgot to ask and we did not bring games for a PlayStation.(probably because I do not play video games...) Luckily my husband brought our WII so the gamers had plenty of games to play. Had a blast, thanks so much !

our family stayed in June. Plenty of room, excellent kitchen, comfortable beds, great water pressure. lovely garden area. really used the pool and hot tub-could use better chairs out there though. had pack and play, high chair and baby gates-great for our 1 year old. great having an elevator that went to all floors. great time had by all-would definitely be interested in staying again. one downfall was air hockey table didn't work.

Our Family gathering to celebrate our Mothers 90 years of life was enhanced by this beautiful, comfortable, well equipped house. From the perfect cleanliness, to the comfortable furniture and beds, to the two coffee makers, ample dishes and cookware, to the beautiful view, great porch, and pool, this house was perfect. Thanks for making our family gathering special. We will definitely look first to Crowne Vacation Rentals when returning to Garden City!

Best Vacation Ever!

This is a great house. Large, bright rooms with big windows. The kitchen was easily large enough for four adults to work together at the same time. The dining table was large (seats 8 -10) with comfortable chairs. Plus there were two additional tables that seated 4 each, and a row of barstools at the kitchen counter. Each bedroom has its own private bath. A queen suite and king suite on the first floor, both facing the front (street side) of the house. 5 bedrooms on the second floor, along with a common area with a large sectional, flat screen TV and air hockey game that the grandkids really enjoyed. One king suite (ocean side), 3 queen suites (1 ocean side), and one room with 2 twin beds (street side). The beds were very comfortable. So much so, that we were checking out the brand of mattress for future reference. The bathrooms were of various sizes, but all were clean and decorated beautifully. The king suite on the second floor had the largest bathroom, with a double vanity, jacuzzi tub, and separate shower. Also a walk-in closet in the king suite. Ample closet space throughout the house, complete with hangers. A storage closet off the first floor foyer has a wide variety of pool and sand toys. Anything the kids could want. The kitchen was well-equipped with plenty of dishes, pots and pans, glasses and eating utensils. Enough for 20 or more people. Toaster, blender, ice makers, crock pot, coffee maker, etc. The gas grill has seen better days, but it does sit outside and is exposed to the salt and moisture. It needs to be replaced. We had trouble keeping the flame going. The wi-fi wasn't working while we were there, but we were able to jump on a connection from next door. We have the same problem with our Time Warner Cable at home. Their modems leave a lot to be desired. The pool and spa were fabulous! We spent many hours there swimming and hanging out. The spa can get very hot, though. We had to turn the heater off a few times because it was too hot. The control for the heater is clearly labeled, so it wasn't a problem. The pool deck is a painted concrete surface that is slippery when wet. You have to walk carefully. A bathroom on the pool level would have been nice. The laundry facilities were top of the line and worked well. A half bath on the first floor was very handy. Our family enjoyed the beautiful sunrises from the ocean side decks, and there were many restaurants on nearby Rt. 17. Enjoy!
