Coconut Cottage is a fantastic beach escape destination on a safe, friendly and secluded Family Island of the Bahamas. It is perfect for honeymooners, families and fishermen.

Coconut Cottage is totally renovated with all new appliances, paint and furniture. The new deck is equipped with a private shower, gas grill, dining table and hotel-quality lounge chairs. Folding lounge chairs are available to take to the beach. A pickup truck is availabe for rent and 4 bicycles are included.

Only steps from the back door is a deserted beach with white sand, crystal blue waters and reefs with world-class snorkeling. View angel fish, stingrays, lobsters and many others. Conch shells and starfish are plentiful. Pick a coconut off the trees on the property. An aluminum fishing boat may be rented for catching local fish or touring the island. Diving and fishing tours on larger boats can be arranged.

Visit the monument marking the landing of Christopher Columbus, tour the lighthouse and explore the caves. Come, escape to newly renovated Coconut Cottage on an island where the beach belongs almost solely to you.

  • My husband and I were the first to actually stay in Coconut Cottage. With an ocean view and its close proximity to town, the location is perfect! We were very pleased with the accomodations. The cottage has a stylish decor and is furnished with everything you need and more. The owners graciously made other resources available when requested. The owners provided us with useful travel tips and helpful contacts on the island. We were very comfortable and definitely look forward to a return stay.
