Why the Owner Chose Sundance
When looking for a location to build our cabin, nothing could compare to Sundance! The cabin is just a short drive up beautiful Provo canyon and is nestled in the amazing Sundance Resort made famous by Robert Redford. While at Sundance you feel like you are secluded in the majesty of the mountains, but with all the conveniences of a big city, Provo, just 15 minutes away. A 30 minute drive takes you to the fun and excitement of Park City and Deer Valley. The Entertainment options are endless at Sundance.
The Unique Benefits at this Cabin
There are many fun things to do at Sundance ALL year round. Spring provides budding forests, wildlife and a roaring rivers and creeks. Summer's calm temperatures are a welcome respite from the scorching heat of the valley. You can hike Mount Timpanogos or Stewart Falls or just take a leisurely stroll around Sundance Resort, or take the ski lift to the top of the mountain, and back down again. The amazing Fall colors of Provo canyon are something no one should miss. Winter brings world class skiing on the greatest snow on earth! But, I must admit, when you are in the cabin it's hard to leave. You can spend the day simply reading a book on the back porch swing in the summer, taking a steam or sauna in the spa room or soaking in the hot tub during a cold winter day. And what is better than catching a movie in your own private theater. You will love cooking in this gourmet kitchen and watching the wildlife outside the window. At night you can have fun listening to your favorite CDs that can be heard in the kitchen, family room and hot tub area outside. Games can be played in the large family room or up in the recreation loft. There is so much to do in Sundance, make sure you spend enough time with us to do it all!

This is the third time we've returned to this cabin (if you can call it a cabin!) to host our our corporate leadership retreats. When our retreat delegates walk in the front door they always gasp with delight at how beautiful and welcoming the space is. They feel enveloped in luxury throughout the week. I have stayed at eight different luxury homes through VRBO and this is our favorite! The owner is fabulous and responsive. In the evenings I am serenaded by the sound of the creek and crickets. The theater room, hot tub and sauna make me feel in the lap of luxury. The bedrooms and bathrooms are uniquely decorated and spacious. And, Sundance is a magical location.

Great decor & amenities; owner is reliable and easy to work with; very clean; restful setting. We highly recommend this property. We loved using the theater room! The only negative: a couple of the bedrooms are a bit cramped and dark.
Owner response:We loved having these renters, great family. FYI- All 6 private bedrooms were carefully built to maximize both space and natural light. Please visit our blog for detailed pictures of each bedroom. You'll like what you see!

This "cabin" was headquarters for our family wedding at Sundance. It exceeded our expectations and housed 14 of us aging from a few months to grandparents. It was extremely clean, well appointed and stocked. We actually felt like it was our home and would have loved to stay longer. Stephanie was great to work with and we have recommended it to friends.

This is the second time I have taken people to this property. It is amazing. Every detail of the home, furnishings, and amenities is top notch. The layout lends itself to privacy if desired and plenty of common area so everyone can be together. We've had a variety of ages and everyone loves it. Not being someone who really likes to cook, I have to say my favorite part of the cabin is the kitchen. Laid out so well and so well furnished. Wait did I say the kitchen was my favorite? Well, maybe I mean the hot tub and spa area - but then I can't forget about the theater room or the setting. Can you tell I love it? You can't go wrong with this property! I'll be back.............

I just cannot improve on what others have said about this cabin. With our newly combined families of three (barely) adult men, the first words we heard from the guys was, of course, "awesome", and "the pictures do not do it justice". My new wife and I and the three men had a wonderful time-- in fact, we cancelled dinner plans at local restaurants in order to take advantage of the ambiance this spectacular log cabin provides. We watched a very entertaining Super Bowl game in the theater (such decadence), and the boys quickly became addicted to the pinball and foosball games. The quality furnishings and spectacular fireplace in the family room redefined the word comfortable, a terrific place to collapse after the steam room and hot tub sessions; indeed it was the perfect venue for the lone person who did not ski to relax with his e-reader. VRBO has never let us down and this stay was the crowning experience for our little honeymoon. To find any fault in the accommodations and with the proprietor (Stephanie) would be an exercise in futility. If you have any doubt about this place, let your heart not be troubled---just do it!

Five couples had an absolutely fabulous stay at this magnificent house located the unique and beautiful Sundance resort . We have stayed at many very nice VRBO houses and this is the nicest one yet. Each couple had their own bedroom (with either king or queen bed) and their own bathroom. We did not use the 6th bedroom which had a pair of bunk beds. Staying in Sundance is wonderful—only 80 lodging rooms at the Robert Redford lodge and maybe 200 houses—very tranquil and peaceful. Only 3 minutes to the slopes for skiing. We skied at Sundance for 3 days (about 3 hours a day)—enjoyable skiing despite limited terrain (compared to Vail, Beaver Creek, Deer Valley) but terrain good for beginners, intermediates and experts. Only 45-60 mins from Park City, Canyons, Deer Valley. Great Nordic Center for xcountry skiing and snowshoeing only half a mile away—very scenic with mountain views/ trees. 25 mins from Soldier Hollow where Olympic xcountry took place—also snowshoeing/big tubing hill. The open living area with 25 feet ceiling is incredibly large with places for all of us to sit comfortably centered around a wonderful 5 foot wide gas fireplace and with a large flatscreen TV. Great kitchen with all the latest appliances. We cooked five dinner meals during the week and the kitchen provided room for 5-6 people doing the dinner preparation. Had access to all of Stephanie’s spices with large refrigeration and freezer, 2 dishwashers and large gas stoveLarge dining room table for 10 with windows looking out over deck and trees—great privacy Large new outdoor hot tub that we used everyday after skiing Outdoor wood burning fireplace that we enjoyed two nights on the huge deck—roasted marshmellows for smoorhs and watched it snow. Stephanie furnished great wood for the fire. Excellent barbeque grill on the deck. Home theater with movie style popcorn maker— 300 movies provided. Great theater seating and totally soundproof. Also connected to Direct TV—wonderful to watch TV on huge screen Very fast wireless internet Two fabulous restaurants at the resort—Tree Room for dinner and the Grill for either lunch or dinner—Robert Redford was there at the Tree Room the night we ate there Foosball in the loft above the living room was fun. We had several normal maintenance issues—Stephanie was extremely responsive to fixing. Highly recommend this house for any large group—couples or families wanting an incredible experience. We will be coming back for more goo

When I want to completely relax and unwind I head to Sundance and this is the ONLY place I will stay for ultimate luxury and style. If I want to stay inside I will watch a movie in the incredible movie theater, hang out in the jacuzzi, steam shower, sauna or just read by the enormous fireplace. If I want to go outside there is everything right from the front door including the incredible Sundance Spa which I sometimes I will just walk to, the horse stables, skiing both down hill and cross country, hiking to Stewart Falls or just hanging out on the back deck on the swing. Great for families because there is enough room for everyone and my kids love all the amenities including the upstairs game room. (from Pinball to Xbox) I have traveled all over the world and by far this is one of my favorite places to hang my hat.

We stayed here with my two siblings and our children and it was the perfect getaway vacation. Everything was very organized and ready for us to arrive. It was very clean and had all the extra comforts of a home away from home. Great location, easy to find and not too far from grocery stores etc. The owner was great at getting back with us quickly and easy to reach when we had a question. Our kids loved hanging out in the theater and outdoor jacuzzi. There was plenty of room to spread out and everyone had a place to sleep. We would definitely love to stay here again and are already planning our next trip. Thanks Stephanie!

Had a wonderful stay at Sundance. My wife and I could not have been happier. We spent time in the hot tub and sauna and then tried to watch a movie but fell fast asleep in the theatre room in the recliner. The stay was so very relaxing and we would recomend this wonderful cabin to anyone who wants to enjoy Utah and Sundance. It was a short drive into Park City or Heber and the hiking was just great.

"This was an incredible mountain retreat for our family. It was everything the owner had described in their listing - and a whole lot more! The photos of the property really 'hooked' us, but they didn't do full justice to the cabin (lodge). We had our entire family with us - children, spouses and grandchildren, fourteen in all. It was a marvelous 4 days! It rained and snowed and sunned. We were all over the property – inside and out. Everyone loved the large theater, and the hot tub and spa center. We spent lots of time in the game loft, sat by the fire outside on the deck - WOW! what a view - watched the snow fall from beside the large fireplace in the three story great room. My wife, daughters and daughter-in-law had to be dragged away from the wonderful kitchen. We had a photographer come up to take family photos and he said it was the “sweetest” place he’d ever taken pictures at. We will most definitely be back to enjoy this “lodge!” The scenery was breathtaking! Sundance Resort is close by, and Park City is just around the mountain! What a place! We most certainly recommend this rental property. It truly is a 5 of 5!"
