LOCATION IS FANTASTIC for TRIPLE CROWN in winter. Sunset Beach and Kammies surf break are steps away. A small park with trees separates you from Sunset Beach. On the ocean side of Kam Highway. Cute studio that has been newly renovated. New kitchenette with granite countertops. Free WIFI.
New bathroom sink and toilet. New high quality linens and towels. Tropical furniture. Park just outside the door. Private beach access is only steps away. In the winter months the surf comes alive and the surf community buzzes!
In the summer months, the water is clear, blue, calm and warm. You are only minutes away from Pipeline Beach, Waimea Bay, Waimea Falls Park and Sharks Cove. House is half way between Haleiwa and Turtle Bay resort. A bike path is out the front door and connects Waimea Bay to Sunset Beach. Bike rentals are available in Haleiwa.
This property is the downstairs portion. The upper portion of the house is sometimes owner occupied or sometimes available for rental. If you have a large group and want privacy, rent the upstairs and downstairs. Please email for information and availability so I can check my calendar.

Amanda and Ken are awesome! If you surf this is definitely an ideal location. Kammieland is right out front, Sunset Beach is about 0.25 mile away going north, Rocky Point is about 0.25 mile away going south. I would recommend this place for a solo traveler or couple looking to spend a couple nights surfing and relaxing on the beach!Recommended for: Adventure seekers.

My husband and I stayed for 6 nights as part of our Hawaii holiday. The location is fantastic, basic accommodation but clean and everything we needed.Saw the sunset every evening on the beach.Ron the owner very helpful.Went to Waikiki after our stay and wanted to come back to the Sunset studio,as it was much nicer than a very expensive hotel in Waikiki.Recommended for: Romantic getaway.

We stayed here for 4 days for our 15 yr. Anniversary. It was a nice retreat from the craziness of Waikiki. While not 4 star accommodations, the photos depict the property well. Low ceilings, small bathroom, sloping floor. The unit was pretty clean (my wife is a clean freak and she cleaned the bathroom/kitchenette before she would use it). The windows are a bit drafty but it wasn't a huge deal. It was however, a great spot to stay for the money. With the A/C off you can hear the ocean. The property is maybe 100 feet from the beach and adjacent to the long bike/running path. Your .5 mile from Ted's bakery and less than 10 minutes from Sharks Cove (best snorkeling on Oahu). We heard the neighbors upstairs a little but it didn't bother us. I would stay hear again if I needed a budget studio.... the North Shore rocks!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, sightseeing.

Having just returned from staying at this delightful retreat, we can only sing its praises.Everything listed was totally accurate but cant possibly describe the hidden gem that it is.We have stayed on the North Shore before but have to say this suited us the most.We loved the surf break there and cant wait to get back for another crack at it.All the locals in this little niche treated us more like friends than visitors and couldnt do enough to make our stay the best ever.Thank you all so much!!!Cheers Geoff & Deb.Gold Coast,Australia.Did you find this review helpful? Perfect vacation studio ! Everyone involved treated us like we were family. Everything supplied was in perfect condition , just show up and relax steps from the beach with a private entrance. We even got to do a little surfing . I would refer any of my family to use this property. Thanks for the best vacation ever !!Recommended for: Age 55+, romantic getaway.

My husband and I stayed here for our anniversary and it was perfect! Very relaxing and love that the beach was just a few steps away. The place is very clean and has anything you would need. Great location, within 15 minutes of shopping and food. I would definitely stay here again!Recommended for: Romantic getaway, sightseeing.

I have stayed at several rentals on the North Shore over the years and I would have to say this has been my favorite! The price is amazing considering you are just steps from one of the most beautiful beaches on Oahu. You are also just down the road from Ted's Bakery which has great food...and Shark's Cove (one of the best snorkeling sites on Oahu) is only a few minutes drive away. It is very clean and Amanda is great at answering questions and making sure you have a good experience! I will stay here many more times in the coming years!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, romantic getaway, girls getaway, sightseeing.

We got the real Northshore experience at this little bungalow. They were accomodating to our needs and I feel it was a great value. I would definitely stay there again! I played the Arnold Palmer course at Turtle Bay and it is one fine golfing venture. We lived at Ted's for food. I stayed at this exceptionally clean studio and loved the location, amenities, and decor! I read the previous reviews and wanted to say that my husband is 6' and he felt totally comfortable. I would estimate the ceiling height at almost 7 1/2 foot so we didn't have a problem at all. The shower was recently redone to provide a more open feeling. The place is really clean and had everything we needed for our vacation, including beach chairs, beach towels, BBQ grill and free wifi. The owners were very accomodating. We can't wait to go back and stay longer!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

The owner/managers are more than helpful and willing to assist with anything you may need. The room was very neat and tidy when we arrived, and a Hawaiian flower was even on the bed! The previous reviews weren't kidding when they say the ceilings were low and the shower even lower. My husband and I aren't tall so it worked fine. Great location right on Sunset Beach and the private access was only steps from the condo door. We loved staying here!Recommended for: Age 55+, romantic getaway.
