The Victorian is a beautifully renovated historic home centrally located in the quaint shopping district of Cambridge, Wisconsin. Two luxury apartments are available for your lodging needs. Both apartments have carved wood sleigh beds, fully stocked kitchens, flat screen TV’s with cable and wireless internet that gives you all the comforts of home at a very reasonable price. Families are welcome. Rent both apartments for a large group of 13 people or rent each apartment individually. The Victorian is also available for events.
The top floor apartment offers a master bedroom that is furnished with a carved wood sleigh bed topped with a Sealy-Posturepedic mattress covered in luxurious linens all on top of teak hand-scraped hardwood floors. The second bedroom includes a queen platform bed with twin trundle underneath and an additional twin bed. There is a separate TV with cable and DVD player in this bedroom also. The bathroom has a tub and imported marble tile surround and includes a washer and dryer for your convenience. This apartment sleeps up to 4 adults or one family comfortably.
The first floor apartment offers the King bedroom and the Queen bedroom (you can rent one or both of these rooms). The King bedroom has a beautifully carved sleigh bed. There is also a twin daybed with a twin trundle underneath (for extra sleepers) in this room. The Queen bedroom has a queen sized bed plus a bunk bed for extra sleepers. Both the king and queen beds are topped with fabulous Stearns and Foster pillow-top mattresses, down comforters and fluffy pillows. Each bedroom is also furnished with its own tv. The bathroom has a gorgeous onyx marble walk-in shower. The kitchen is fully stocked kitchen with granite countertops and stainless steel appliances including front loading washer and dryer for your convenience. This apartment sleeps 8 adults.
Cambridge is not your typical Wisconsin small town. The vintage storefronts are home to antique and gift shops, the world famous Rowe Pottery Works, great restaurants, the wonderful village bakery and other inviting and unique shops. Access to Lake Ripley Park beach and Cam-Rock Trail is just a hop, skip and a jump away. You can also rent a kayak, canoe or bike at the new Cam-Rock Sport & Café within walking distance of the Victorian.

The Victorian was everything and more. The house was stock with everything we needed and was clean and fresh. It was with-in walking distance of fun little shops and a couple of eateries. The owner returned phone calls and emails immediately with any questions we had. She thought of everything from WIFI to spare toothbrushes. Thank you for the awesome memory!Recommended for: Sightseeing, girls getaway, romantic getaway.

A BEAUTIFUL AND ELEGANT VACATION RENTAL! I chose this place and brought the husband and kids and the place was perfect. There is a flat screen TV and DVD player and comfortable beds in the kids room and the the kids felt like they were in the most fun place ever. And I and my husband felt that way too! The place had the most gorgeous hard wood floors I have ever seen - They are an exotic shaved teak. There is a huge flat screen, with a bunch of cable channels, a fireplace, wireless internet access, super comfortable leather furniture, a fully appointed kitchen, a fabulous balcony, a comfortable sleigh bed...I could go on and on! The location is convenient to a lot of hot spots. We especially loved Lake Ripley beach!!!! We went to the Capitol in Madison and it was a quick and easy 20 minute drive. This place was an exceptional value for a four star hotel like room!!! Don't miss out on this place - it's a destination place all by itself!!Recommended for: Sightseeing, girls getaway, families with young children, romantic getaway.

About the owner: Joe and I have been married for many years, we have 2 boys and are from the Chicago area. We fell in love with Cambridge and know you will too!
Why the Owner Chose Cambridge:
We're big city folks who fell in love with the beautiful town of Cambridge. We purchased this fantastic Victorian building in January 2009. We enjoyed renovating this historic building into what we believe to be the most beautiful vacation rental available. We installed wide planked hand-scraped teak hardwood flooring throughout and put in high-end leather furniture, carved wood sleigh beds, Sealy Posturepedic mattresses (2nd floor) and Stearns & Foster mattresses (1st floor) and luxurious linens. We've made the place comfortable for families. We created the best of what we would enjoy on a vacation. A comfortable home away from home. We just love this town and enjoy every minute we spend here.
