Married 32 years. 1 son, age 30. My family and I have lived near the Ohio River in Louisville, KY for most of our lives. I love the outdoors - walking, bicycling, boating, snorkeling, skiing. I love to travel, read, write, do yoga or do NOTHING (and rest afterward)! I am a Life Coach and Interior Refiner in addition to my Rental Duties. I have THE BEST families from all over the U.S., Canada, U.K, etc. who come back to our Keys cottage year after year . . . and . .. I love my "work"............ carole
Why the Owner Chose Key Colony Beach
We LOVE Key Colony and Marathon area and love to explore the Parks & Beaches throughout the Keys. My family vacationed on Key Colony - rented homes there for several years before we bought our first 1/2 duplex unit on 10th Street. Later we purchased the second 1/2 duplex unit..........eventually sold both units and purchased our single family home - current rental cottage on 12th Street. We like the Keys because we have many of the advantages of the Resorts in the Carribean AND we can drive to the Keys - if we like and not leave the U.S.

What's NOT to Like?? The WEATHER is fantastic -- the blue skies -- the green water -- the ease-ful flow, the peaceful, quiet lifestyle. Unparalleled Natural Beauty! We love eating the FRESH FISH outdoors everywhere and the Fun laid-back atmosphere all over the Keys. We keep a boat there and my husband/son love to fish - We love to snorkel and explore the other Keys.. We bring friends to the Keys to "share" our little piece of paradise. We spend a month or more at the cottage in Nov/Dec and several other weeks throughout the year doing maintenance. We even "enjoy" doing the maintenance! The cottage is private, quiet, spacious, comfortable, convenient to the Cabana Club Beach/Pool and Sunset Park and restaurants within walking distance. We have a fantastic maid, Raquel who keeps the house clean and fresh for our tenants. There is a boat dock and canal in the back yard. The back deck is a great place for a cup of coffee or a Margarita! Come as you are!! Try it -- you'll like it.
