  • Smooth Vacation!!

"Very nice house with plenty of parking. Big house, beds are super comfortable, and all modern amenities. They added the little things like trash bags, paper towels, and such that you normally overlook. Danny was great and helped us with boat trailer parking and locations to eat. Key Colony Beach is located in a great spot with places to eat, West Marine, Home Depot, Walgreen's, grocery stores, etc. The pool is great for kids and is separated from the canal where the a boat can be located for the week. We even had a manatee visit us a few times and drink water from the water hose!!!"

  • We had a wonderful time at KLK!

"We spent a week at KLK and it wasn't nearly long enough! This rental exceeded our expectations. Maria was responsive and easy to deal with. The house is beautiful, modern, clean and well stocked/supplied. Comfy beds, nice linens (including beach towels), beautiful pool and hot tub, plenty of lounge chairs. The kayaks were well used to cross the calm bay and go into the mangroves. Fishing supplies were appreciated and my husband spent hours at the end of the dock. The bikes were fun and we took a couple of rides down the path a few miles. Maria has everything you could possibly need, from pantry items, laundry soap, there's 2 beach chairs which I brought to the end of the dock to sit and keep my husband company as he fished, a soft sided cooler, 3 box fans for the bedrooms. She has a lot of flyers for restaurants and things to do that were very helpful as well as a comprehensive manual that explained everything you need to know about the house. The only thing that we needed was inflatable floaties to lay on in the pool and Maria was so sweet to run to K-mart and buy some the very next morning, which I did not expect but was excellent customer service. We can recommend this rental for sure! The only thing I have to comment on in a negative way is the noise at this property. While it is very private and secluded with mangroves on either side, it is not at all quiet. It is hard to tell from the satellite map just how close the house is to the road; it is very close and there is 24/7 highway noise. Also, the RV campground residents are close enough through the mangroves to hear their conversations and smell their cigarette smoke. The Dolphin Research Center has whistles and loudspeakers going all day long when they are open. None of this was unbearable, but it is worth mentioning as I was surprised that no other review that I read spoke to the noise. We ate at the Wreck just once but would highly recommend it, tasty food, friendly service and excellent Key lime pie and literally steps away. Other places that we enjoyed were: Castaways, great beer selection and happy hour menu, plus sushi; Sparky's Landing, nice location on the water and 30 cent wings and peel and eat shrimp; Havana Jacks, live music in the evening and right on the ocean; Lazy Days South for a beautiful sunset view and huge, fresh salads. Thank you, Maria, for sharing your beautiful home with us!"

  • After noisy Miami Beach This is Heaven!

"My Husband and I were in Miami for the Bacardi Sailing Regatta for 9 days. After lousy service at a hotel, every place was noisy, and Miami was one big tourist trap of a city. We needed relaxation! When we opened the doors to this rental in Grassy Key, My husband said, "Now this is more like it". It was quiet, peaceful and private. It was like having a private beach! Rhonda the caretaker was very good about telling us the history, places to go, restaurants to hit. The apartment had everything we needed and it was well appointed, It is in Marathon in the middle of the keys everything available under 10 miles in either direction. If I were to come to the keys again, we would definitely come back here in Grassy Key"

  • wonderful vacation

"Had a great vacation at Villa Pamela. Views are incredible. Visited many areas in the keys, including Islamorada, BigPine Key, Children's Rotary Playground, fishing on the Marathon Lady, Sombrero Beach, Sunset Grill for a long afternoon of lunch and lounging. Fished daily out back and kayaked as well. Had some very windy days, but always sunny! Hard to come back north to the snow!!! Truly love Villa Pamela!!!"
