Several living sections exist within the house and allow multiple activities at the same time. The lower Conversation Area features cozy seating around the fireplace and the Mid-Level Living/Dining Area is great for reading or games and is complete with multi-speaker sound system.
Each of the three comfortable and well appointed bedrooms has access to it's own granite and fully tiled bath. The Master Suite has skylights in the bath and above the shower offering a view of pine tree tops while showering. The Master Bedroom and 2nd Main Floor Bedroom have their own Cable TV with DVD. The upstairs 3rd Bedroom consists of 2 double beds (one futon)(one double bunk)and has a complete separate tiled bathroom. The upper level Loft/TV Room and Computer Center is another nice get-a-way area.
The 2nd main floor bedroom has its own separate entrance onto a private deck area.
The granite kitchen is compact and fully stocked and with everything needed for entertaining.

Black Butte Ranch is one of the more outstanding areas in the state. It is close to the area considered high mountain dessert, but its actually nearer the foothills of the central Oregon mountains. This gives this unique area more moderating temperatures in the summer and winter. Not quite as hot in the summer and not so cold in the winter. And for activities, this part of Central Oregon can't be beat! Fantastic Activities include something for everyone. Just name your favorite and its either on/in Black Butte Ranch or is nearby. Nearby Sisters, Oregon is a Quilter's paradise. We Love It!
The Unique Benefits of this House
Quiet and serene periods of time to create a pleasant change from city life. Biking, walking and loving the wildlife and Deer that stroll casually through the properties.
Since we're golfers, Golf is our main interest. A brief walk to swimming in an outdoor pool is also a favorite. But with all that's offered on the Ranch, our family members can find anything and everything they want to do quite easily.

Great family getaway!

We recently spent a weekend at this lovely, well maintained home and would recommend it to any small group looking for a quiet getaway within easy reach of golf, swimming, fishing, biking, or hiking. We managed to cram most of those things in. The home was perfect for our family of three, but we could have had another couple or another kid or two and still had plenty of space. Comfy beds, nice furnishings; pride of ownership was evident throughout the house. We ate dinner every night on the large deck among the trees. The BBQ is really small, so if you are a grill family you will need to plan around that. Also, there is no secure storage for things like bikes so if you are concerned about that be sure to bring locks. That is really the only thing I can think of that wasn't perfect. Small price to pay for an otherwise fantastic stay!
Recommended for:Romantic getaway, tourists without a car, families with young children, girls getaway, families with teenagers, age 55+.

I just wanted to follow up to let you know how much we enjoyed your home and our time at BBR over the 4th of July holiday. The ranch is one of our family's favorite places on earth and your home is in a great location and is really put together nicely. It was absolutely perfect for our family of four plus Grandma. One night we had my brother's family (5 daughters and his wife plus him make 7!) over in the evening and we all piled into the conversation pit and hung out listening to The Carpenters from your CD collection and reminiscing - what fun! We were so appreciative of the comfortable beds, working TV's and music and the overall user-friendly nature of you home. Leaving one key in the lock box was genius and assured that no one was ever locked out and that all of our valuables were safe. The departure instructions were clear and easy to follow and we exited early (around 10:00 am) but felt we had really enjoyed our visit (although we all would have liked to have been able to stay longer - darn work anyway). Thank you again and we hope to be able to rent again from you in the not-too-distant future. All the Best, Ann H
