Don't let the modest looking front of the house in the picture fool you. This is a very nice, clean and spacious place to stay! What we loved about the property was the spacious and well stocked kitchen, the huge deck for wildlife watching, the large hot tub, the garage to park our minivan, the steam shower is a "must try"...I want one for my home! The outside grill was nice and clean and the property manager was very accomodating to drop off a new propane tank on Saturday. Very nice, very comfy, very beautiful! Minor drawbacks were, the king bed in the upstairs loft was a bit soft, but to be fair we are have a TempurPedic at home. And the hot tub was due for a water change but not to the point of being unsanitary or anything. All in all a wonderful stay and would definitely book again next time I am in the area. We even drove over Owl Creek Pass then watched the John Wayme version of True Grit, I purchased before the trip, on Saturday to see the same scenery in the movie. I would recommend the owner/ property manager purchase a copy of the original True Grit movie and a copy of "A San Juan Odessy" by CW McCall for the house for future guests enjoyment.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with young children, adventure seekers.
