Location: Tucker Mountain Lodge, Copper Mountain, Northwest, Colorado, USA (Copper Mountain Resort - Center Village - 75 Miles from Den)
Accommodations: Condo, 1 Bedroom + Convertible bed(s), 1 Bath (Sleeps 4)
Keywords: Condo, Slopeside, Ski-in, Ski-out, Fireplace, Hot Tub
Tucker Mountain Lodge is one of four buildings in the Center Village at Copper Mountain and is located just steps away from the American Eagle and American Flyer high speed quad lifts and the new outdoor Climbing Wall. Designed as a rustic backcountry retreat, entering the warm and inviting lobby of Tucker Mountain Lodge will make you feel like you've just stepped into a historic National Park Lodge!
Just beyond the lobby, you’ll find a heated, secure locker room for your skis, steam & sauna rooms, a large outdoor hot tub, and a fitness center that features a weight machine, two exercise bikes, a treadmill, and an elliptical trainer.
Our condo is beautifully decorated with a winter lodge theme, which is highlighted by a warm river rock fireplace. We have created a haven with all the luxuries of home and then some: coffee maker, crock pot, ample dining ware and utensils, newer furniture, paint and carpet. The kitchen is beautifully tiled and open to the dining and living areas. There is a four-burner stove with full-size oven, a microwave, full-size refrigerator and a dishwasher.
The family room has a new flat-screen TV with a DVD player. The sofa converts to a queen-sized convertible bed with a new memory foam mattress, so it's much more comfortable than most convertible beds. There is also a television with full cable in the bedroom, which is perfect for the grown-ups while the kids sleep in the other room!
The outdoor balcony overlooks the hot-tub area, and offers great views of the slopes.
Our condo is at the end of a hallway, so you never have to listen to people walking by your door. It is also far from the elevator, so elevator noise will never keep you up at night! One spot in an underground heated parking garage is included – so unload your luggage and take an elevator straight to the condo without having to go outside!
Once you're settled, explore the center village where you'll find shops, ice skating, great dining and night clubs. Starbucks is located just right across the bridge! Everything you'll need is within walking distance from our condominium. While you are just 75 yards from the lifts of Center Village, a free shuttle will take you to any other lifts in Copper Mountain's Union Creek or East Village.
This property is in one of the Village’s newest buildings and therefore it is well maintained, highly appointed, and extremely homey. You will feel right at home!
Nearby ski areas include: A-Basin, Beaver Creek, Breckenridge, Keystone and Vail. Our condo is conveniently close to the towns of Frisco, Breckenridge, Silverthorne, Dillon, Keystone and Vail.
There is also coin-operated laundry and an ice machine located in the building. This is a non-smoking unit and pets are not allowed. Two-night minimum stay required. Three night minimum stay required during peak and holiday periods.

Owner's Profile
Owner Description
Year Purchased: 2000
We bought this condominium when it was first built, when our oldest son was just a baby. Now our family has grown to include three boys who all LOVE to ski! We live just outside of Boulder, and we try to get up to Copper as often as we can. If our boys had their way, we'd LIVE at Copper Mountain all winter long. When we can't use our condo ourselves, we like to open it up to others, in hopes that others can create the same type of wonderful memories we've been able to make!
Why the Owner Chose Tucker Mountain Lodge
Copper Mountain has always been our favorite skiing location in Colorado. There's a mountain for every level of skier (I admit, I'm much less adventuresome than my boys!), the landscape is gorgeous, and it's a short drive from home. We love coming up here in the summer as well as the winter because there is so much to do! Hiking, biking, fishing, and lots of organized festivities make this a great year-round destination.
The Unique Benefits of this Condo
We love that once we park our car in the garage, we rarely take it out until its time to go home. Everything here is within walking distance - not only amazing skiing, but also great restaurants, shops, nightlife, etc. We love being able to come inside for a nice warm homemade lunch to break up a day of skiing. And curling up next to the fireplace and playing a board game or doing a jigsaw puzzle with the family is a perfect way to end a great day on the slopes!

Great location, great views, nice, though small, condo, well stocked, owner was easy to work with, able to check in early which was nice. Nice for 4 people, but a little cramped, but not there much so it was fine.1st time at Copper Mountain, and thought it was great. Center Village neat, although didn't use iceskating, looks nice. Neat bars/restaurants. Nice to be right where everything is, and able to come in from skiing and go back out; very convenient to lifts.
Owner response:Hi Sarah: I appreciate your taking the time to submit a review - Thank you! I am glad you guys had a good time at Copper. Hopefully we'll see you again soon! - Tamra

This is a wonderful condo. It has everything you need and want for a great stay at Copper. The location is perfect. Tucker Mountain Lodge is in the Center Village... just a three-minute walk to the lifts. Tamra, the owner, is great as well. She's very accommodating. If she can help, she will. We had a great Copper Mountain vacation in this condo. Amenities, location, comfort, and convenience... this place has it all.

From the start I knew this was going to be a great unit to stay in. My first conversations with the owner Tam where very friendly and caring. Tam wants to make sure she tells you everything about the unit and gives you great tips. She was extremelly help full and friendly and did not mind the millions of questions we had. She always followed with email or call to let us know directions, snow updates and such. The unis is no more than 10 steps from the american flyer lift, restaurants, shops. I was surprise to even find a humidiphier in the unit. The owner of this unit really made us feel at home....I guess every one that stayed here agrees since I want to go back but the place is completelly full till April!!! Tam I love your service and your property THANK you for opening your home to us. Will absolutelly stay here again next year!!!

Our experience was spectacular. Is this place the biggest place in the world? NO Is this place very simple and clean and convenient and comfortable? YES We loved our time at this condo. It is so convenient to the mountain and with our 3 kids we really needed to be close. The condo overlooked the hottub which our kids loved to go to at night after a long day of skiing. It was everything we needed. The pullout bed was great and more than enough for our two kids and then one kid stayed slept on a grouping of pillows. We loved the fact that it was smaller because it forced us to be together. My wife and I would stay here again in a second and hopefully one day we will. I would strongly recommend this place to anyone who is looking for a great location with a simple and clean condo.

This condo was everything we could have hoped for! The center village location could not be beat. The perfect launching pad for great hikes, scenic bike rides, and lots of summer activities - including mini-golf, diggler-rides, go-carts, and quad jumping. Walk out the front door, and you're greeted by a gorgeous rock-climbing wall. The condo itself is beautifully decorated and filled with everything you might need - from cooking & baking tools to puzzles & games. The condo has a view of the mountain and also overlooks the hot-tub, which allowed us to keep an eye on our teenagers. We will definitely be back!

Great center village location. Convienent to restuarants, shopping, and a very short walk to the lifts. This unit was very clean and the kitchen was well equiped with plenty of cookware. We would definitely book this unit again whenever we return to Copper.

We have stayed at this condo in Copper several times and absolutely love it. We visit in the summertime, and appreciate the closeness to so many outdoor activities (hiking, biking), most of which you can do without ever getting in your car. We enjoy the variety of restaurants at Copper, and really like being able to walk to and from dinner. We have also stayed in and cooked both prepared and 'scratch' meals in the kitchen with ease. The feel of the condo is very homey - it's a great place to hang out for the day reading, or use as a base to get out and be active. We will definitely continue staying at this condo whenever our vacation plans allow.
