The property is secluded and provides perfect privacy in an elevated setting. The villa was designed by architect, Robertson Ward, who designed the Sandy Lane hotel in Barbados. Three buildings are linked by covered walkways around the large central pool. The design is perfect for a tropical, outdoor lifestyle and the central pool area spanned by an attractive bridge creates a romantic environment.
Albatross Nest is located in the North West corner of the Cap Estate which is generally regarded as the premier residential area of St. Lucia and is home to several good beaches as well as to the St.Lucia Golf and Country Club.
The property is either a ten minute rather steep walk or a short drive to Anse Du Cap beach. The 18 hole golf course at the St. Lucia Golf and Country Club, snorkeling, scuba diving, tennis and an award winning spa, as well as many of the island's best restaurants are all within a ten minute drive.
Maid service is provided 5 days a week.
The gardener is at the property 2 days a week.
The property is managed by Kris Wagner who will welcome you to the property and advise on any aspects of your vacation. Kris is on call 7 days a week to ensure that you have a wonderful holiday in St. Lucia.

We celebrated our honeymoon here and the view was breathtaking! The villa is very comfortable with the best view in town! The staff is very friendly, welcoming and helpful. There's so many restaurants and markets to visit close-by. Our favorite spot was Pidgeon Island and the little restaurant there had the cheapest and most delicious food and drinks we had, so we'd definitely recommend that! We will be back for either our 5 or 10 year anniversary :) Thanks for making our honeymoon memorable! -Ahsan and AmnaRecommended for: Romantic getaway, girls getaway, sightseeing.

Canadians know how to relax, but definitely not as well as the St.Lucians! How could you not with a setting like this. Our stay was a magical one, we saw many sights and drank a lot of..."tropical juice" ! A huge thanks to all the staff at Albatross Nest. We will be spreading the word about this beautiful house and all its qualities! Expect many more Canucks from the West Coast of Canada! Well, what can we say that hasn't been said before? Breathtaking views, a lovely home full of ambience and special touches, plus the fantastic staff who keep it all so beautifully clean and immaculate. This is our first visit to the Caribbean and we are blown away by the beauty, the climate and of course the cocktails ! Can't wait to tell everyone about it back home. We truly enjoyed our stay at Albatross Nest. The pictures give a good idea of the property, but seeing it in person is even better. The view from the pool and living room is breathtaking. The kids played in the pool all week. Also, the climate was just perfect for this time of year, just hot enough during the day, with a nice breeze in the evening. The master bedroom bed was particularly comfortable, which is something you always hope for when renting a home away. The property was very clean, with a maid working 5 days/week. Overall a great vacation.Recommended for: Romantic getaway, tourists without a car, age 55+, girls getaway, families with teenagers, sightseeing.

Thankyou! 7 of us (from Chicago) had a delightful time celebrating a 30th birthday. The villa's amenities were perfect! Ohh how we are going to miss this spectacular view….Lastly, a big bad shout out to the kind staff here. Ivy (you rock!), Gillis (gentle spirit) and Michael (the beautiful gardens here really brings happiness). Thanks also to Kris - you answered all our questions promptly and courteously!! Don't hesitate to call on Ronald to safely drive you anywhere on the island. We will miss you St Lucia! And Villa Albatross! Yip! Yip! . I and a group of friends had the pleasure of staying at Albatross Nest on our first visit to St. Lucia. St. Lucia is a beautiful island with very friendly people, but you need nerves of steel to drive there. Our main reason for selecting St Lucia for our vacation this year was Albatross Nest. This is a wonderful villa. As beautiful as the pictures are on this site they do not capture the full beauty of this villa and its location. The villa itself gave the feel of being both indoors and outdoors at the same time. The great room was very comfortable and opened on three sides with great views on either side and a constance breeze. We did our own cooking and found the kitchen to be well equipped for our needs. Each bedroom is entered from outside, pool area, which gives the feel of a small private hotel. The bedrooms were all good size rooms and cleaned daily, with the exception of Sunday, by Ivy the housekeeper. She did a great job in keeping the rooms clean with fresh towels and bed linen daily. She also help us in cleaning the mess we made in the kitchen after each meal. Location, location, location...perched on the mountain side Albatross Nest gives you a spectacular view of both land and sea. The Caribbean Sea during the day with its calming waters was very busy with all types of water activities with provided us with relaxing entertainment. The Rodney Bay area with its rolling mountains was sprinkled with other villas and resorts providing another interesting sight. At night when the Caribbean Sea is darkened the view of the Rodney Bay area with the lights twinkling in the darkness looked like the stars had come down from the sky and rested over the water. It can be mesmerizing We have already decided that this as a place to which we must return. "Albatross Nest is the best."Recommended for: Romantic getaway, tourists without a car, age 55+, adventure seekers, families with teenagers, people with disabilities, sightseeing.

My family and I just returned from an enjoyable week (6/13/12 - 6/20/12) at Albatross Nest. The view from the VIlla is breath-taking and it is very close to the beaches, shopping, and restaurants. I highly recommend having a rental car so you can come and go as you please. Both Ivy (the housekeeper) and Michael (the gardener) were a joy to talk with and both took great care of the Villa. Kris, the rental agent, was very thorough in her walk-thru of the Villa when we arrived and was very responsive when we had a situation arise that required her attention. My best advice to future visitors to make sure that you get and see St. Lucia. Take a tour (Spencer Ambrose and/or Cosol Tours), visit the fishing villages, go snorkeling, and don't forget to try the local food. Our favorite restaurant was Spinnakers located in Rodney Bay. Our favorite snorkeling site was at the base of the Pitons. All in all, it was a memorable vacation!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, families with teenagers, sightseeing.

Albatross Nest gives you the full St. Lucian experience. The sun rises early, so I was often the first one up, drinking coffee, eating fresh fruit, and watching the island wake up through my binoculars. Perched high in the Cap Estate hills, the view goes all the way from Rodney Bay to the south, to Pigeon Island, to Smuggler’s Cove beach below us, to an endless parade of boats moving north and south through the Caribbean Sea, and finally to Martinique to the north. The living room is completely open to the veranda, allowing easy transition from reading a book to a dip in the pool to sipping a cool drink while admiring the view. There is a constant warm breeze blowing through the house to keep things comfortable. For adventure, I recommend the Island Expo Tour with Sammy Green as your driver (www.realstluciatours.com), plus the zipline course in Dennery (www.adventuretourstlucia.com). And don’t forget the fabulous SCUBA diving with Scuba Steve (www.scubastevesdiving.com). Thank you to Kris, our on-island agent, who was always available to answer our questions, and to Michael the gardener and Ivy the housekeeper, who were a delight to talk to and keep the villa looking wonderful. This was a wonderful vacation for us and we were definitely sad to leave. Thank you!Recommended for: Romantic getaway, adventure seekers, families with teenagers, sightseeing.

I have found my dream vacation home! I am a regular visitor to St. Lucia and have stayed at various resorts and villas but never before at such a relaxing and quiet property with truly spectacular views. It was heavenly to start each morning with yoga and a dip in the pool while listening to the birds and taking in the picture-perfect panorama. I was more than happy to spend whole days at the villa while my companions (new to the island) did the tourist trail. I would recommend a barbeque in the beautiful garden and simply sipping a rum punch while soaking up the atmosphere - pure paradise. I really felt at ease and at home and appreciated how well Ivy looked after the place.Recommended for: Romantic getaway, age 55+, girls getaway, families with teenagers.

"To talk only about the view seems almost trite but this villa is totally dominated by the views, which are frankly astounding. Sitting on the balcony and watching the forces of nature at work could be all that some people would need to keep them fully occupied for their stay. Despite having had the good fortune to travel widely around the world, I would say this vista is possibly the finest I have seen: all other considerations seem terribly trivial" . Year Purchased: 2009
About the owner: The property belongs to an English couple,Tim and Joanna(Jo)Weil who have been visiting St Lucia for the past 8 years. We fell in love with the island and after a very long search we finally found our dream home which we purchased in December 2009. We look forward to being able to spend much more time in our beautiful home in St. Lucia but in the meantime we are making it available for holiday rentals when we are not there.
Why the Owner Chose Cap Estate:
We have visited St. Lucia for many years and love the island. We fell in love with the stunning view and the architecture of this property. We enjoy the variety of restaurants and beaches easily accessible from the property.
The Unique Benefits at this Villa:
The property has one of the best sea views we have seen on the island. The sunset views are amazing. The property provides a restful, private location but good restaurants and a variety of activities are available within a ten minute drive.
