This magnificent home is centrally located and was inspired by the beauty of the Applegate Valley. It was designed and built by the owner and her family. This three level house is stunning and has something for everyone. There is a large kitchen ideal for cooking and entertaining large parties. The open floor plan allows for its occupants to visit while engaging in whatever activity suits their needs. In addition to three luxurious bedrooms and three and one half baths but it is complete with: the latest energy star appliances, including Electrolux washer and Perfect Steam electric dryer, flat screen TV’s, Wii, DVD players, wet bar, and a grand fire place made of river rock from this river front property, billiards table, solar water and geothermal radiant floor heating. I have been staying in the home for 3+ weeks now, and it has been everything I expected and more. The home is one of the most beautiful and comfortable I have ever stayed in! The craftsmanship put into the home is absolutely stunning. It fits perfectly in with the mountainous surroundings and friendly community. The large open windows, gourmet kitchen, and hospitality of the owners and neighbors are just a few things that made our stay so comfortable. One of my favorite activities while staying here was to hike along the Applegate River, which lies in the backyard of the property. I highly recommend this property to future visitors in the Applegate Valley :)Recommended for: Pet owners, families with teenagers, adventure seekers, sightseeing, families with young children, romantic getaway, age 55+, girls getaway, people with disabilities.

This was the perfect place for my 70th birthday. Family and friends were so comfortable and impressed with the surroundings. The downstairs is a large room with everything needed to enjoy your stay, fireplace, pool table, pleasant cozy setting areas, large screen TV and entertainment center. The pictures on this website, give you an idea of the time and talent that was put into this gorgeous home. However, walking in and seeing it, will leave you awe-struck. Everywhere you turn is another area of beauty. The home is furnished with everything you could ever need, and more. The peacefulness of the setting wraps around you, allowing you to rest and enjoy the beautiful Applegate Valley. Thanks Tani for sharing your spectacular home with us. This house is HUGE but also very comfortable and relaxing. We felt as though we were in our own home. Everything in the house is custom. We were in downtown Applegate which put us in the middle of wine country. The area reminded us of Napa Valley 40 years ago. Great wines and food in a relaxed environment. The sound of the rain took our city stresses away and it even snowed during our stay which was fantastic. Another bonus for us is that this is a green home and fits into our ethos supporting a better environment. WE RECOMMEND THIS HOUSE TO ANYONE LOOKING TO STAY IN THE AREA.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, adventure seekers, sightseeing, families with young children, romantic getaway, age 55+, girls getaway, people with disabilities.

Beautiful, the perfect spot to relax after the reunion. We all loved it. The kitchen is to die for, great for fixing food for the reunion. A group of us stayed at this custom built house in June, and it was everything that was promised. The house actually looks better than the photos! The house is beautifully built, with fabulous touches throughout including granite counter tops in the kitchen, river rock in the showers, large screen TVs downstairs and in the master bedroom, internet access, and tastefully decorated with some Japanese overtones. The house exceeded expectations. It is large, airy, sunny, and just a wonderful place to stay. The only down side was that it is so new there is still construction materials outside the house. It could also use a hot tub and a bit more landscaping. Still these are minor points, and I highly recommend this house.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, romantic getaway, age 55+, girls getaway.

About the owner: My family bought several properties in the Applegate Valley 20 years ago. I was fortunate enough to have bought one of them and have a father who was willing and able to build my dream home. It sits on the river surrounded by glass and is breathtaking. I am an RN and my career is in the Bay Area, unfortunately I can only occupy my home part of the time. So I’ve decided to rent it out the rest of the time so that others can enjoy all of it glory. Please feel free to contact me with any and all questions.
Why the Owner Chose Applegate:
The Applegate Valley has so much to offer. If you enjoy wine this is the place for you. There are dozens of wineries in close proximity to the house. There are also many local festivals which to partake in. The house is centrally located next to places to dine and be entertained. We are 15 miles away from Jacksonville and 30 miles away from the Medford Airport. The house is on the river so if hiking, fishing or rafting appeal to you this is ideal. But even if you never left the comfort of the house you can definitely experience the beauty of the Applegate with all of the houseguests while engaging in a multitude of activities. There’s room for everyone to spread out and enjoy themselves whatever they decide to do.
The Unique Benefits at this House:
This unique property has an array of outdoor activities such as hiking, fishing and rafting to enjoy. There are two bedrooms on the entry level. Both have attached bathrooms. The Master Bedroom (The Gold Room) has an open two person stone tiled shower and the other (The Blue Room) has a stone tiled shower with a bathtub. They are each gorgeous and unique in there own right. Also on this level you can cook in the luxurious kitchen with large island perfect for entertaining. There are four different seating areas to sit just in the kitchen dining area alone. You may chose to hang out in one of three living areas. One next to the kitchen with an electric fireplace, 42” flat screen TV, couches and reclining chairs to take in the company and the views. There is a place to dine downstairs as well or play poker if you choose to. There is a theatre game playing area. We’ve created several seating areas which to lounge around the billiards area and wet bar. The warm colored custom concrete flooring in this day light basement is ideal if you choice to relax by the gorgeous river rock fireplace. Or you may choose to relax in the suite upstairs (The Red Room) with its open stone tiled floored shower, TV, DVD, lounge area and eastern king size platform bed. There is also a spacious laundry room if you’re in the mood. There really is something for everyone and not enough words to describe all of its unique beauty; you’d really have to experience it for yourself.
