Super convenient to downtown.. Great to have bikes to use.

One of my favorite beaches and towns in the L.A. area! The Studio was very well appointed down to the very minute details to ensure comfort. Frankly for oneof the smaller VRBO's I wasn't expecting as much - but this place had it all. Proximity to town and beach and amenities all a 10.

The place was comfortable, clean, cute. It was so nice being such a short walk from the beach and we enjoyed having the bikes to explore to stand. John was attentive and responsive to any questions we had. The only downside was the traffic noise that was noted in the listing. If you bring ear plugs and use white noise it was manageable. Would stay here again.

The Glass House in Manhattan Beach goes down as one of our all-time favorite family vacation experiences. Property owners, JR and his wife Susan, are the most hospitable and friendly hosts you could ever encounter — beyond accommodating and a joy to work with … I could go on and on. Their property, which fronts the Pacific Ocean and an immaculate beach, is nothing short of stunning. Needless to say, it was comfortable, and provided the perfect perch for relaxing and unbeatable sunsets. The photos that you see here on Vrbo are 100% accurate, and even then they don’t quite do justice to the experience in person. I almost don’t want to disclose what a magical place Manhattan Beach is. I can’t help but feel I will see the locals/nearby residents in my memories years from now. The great thing is, I won’t have to conjure those acquaintances, as I expect to be back again very soon. I suppose I should also mention how conveniently located the Glass House is to all things Manhattan Beach and so many other Los Angeles area venues. We were always within walking distance of shops, restaurants, pubs and markets. If this sounds at all appealing or alluring to you, check it out. JR will do a much better job than I at selling you on the merits of this incomparable gem. Here’s hoping we get to return for many more unforgettable moments.

DRONE USERS! this property is tucked into the only place that you can fly your drone without special permission from the FAA from Santa Monica to Redondo. The home is beautiful and the view from the porch to the beach was amazing. Even the private patio offered the sounds of the ocean at night. 2 Living, 2 bed, 2 bath. Open kitchen to the living room creating a nice open space. Opening the sliding doors grants a cool passthrough breeze of fresh ocean air sufficient to cool the house on its own. The bed was comfortable and I had no issues with my back after a night sleep, which is rare when traveling for this 400lb man. The location cannot be beat. 5 minutes walk to the beach, 20 minute walk to Hermosa beach shopping and food. Great local restaurants. Access instructions were clear and easy. They offer a lot of beach toys for use (chairs, boards, etc.,) all appliances work, absolutely nothing on the property that I needed assistance with. Even so, the host was very communicative and checked in to make sure our stay was perfect. If you want a quiet but active stay with lots to do, but in a laid back area, I highly recommend this house.

We loved everything about this property! Truly a perfect location. Two words: Ocean View! So amazing to be able to look out onto the ocean from the living room and kitchen. Easy walk to the heart of downtown Manhattan Beach. Very quick drive to downtown El Segundo. We worked from this location for 2 months, but it felt like we were on vacation every day! The owner was extremely responsive and incredibly gracious and helpful.
