This rental can provide full wedding planning and services. If a wedding is not what you have in mind, this home can offer a quiet atmosphere for corporate functions and meetings.
Catering and entertainment is available for any event type. If you are looking for a wedding shower with a great atmosphere, this Inner Circle estate can provide a wonderful party poolside, garden party. Whatever you wish can be accommodated.
The interior of this house was professionally decorated. All of the amenities of a beautiful castle. Four nicely appointed bedrooms will allow you to rest in comfort. A nicely furnished kitchen works great for entertaining a wonderful family reunion or corporate get together. If you don't want to do the cooking, we have a staff available to assist you with a few meals or all meals if you desire. If you have to work while you are on vacation, there is an office available that provides you privacy. A beautiful living room will help you unwind for the day. Or if you prefer to watch television or play chess there is a great game room available. We certainly hope we can make you the King and Queen for the duration of your stay.

Once again I am impressed with the peace and tranquility that this venue provides. Our yearly getaway/vacation for faraway friends was wonderful. The castle is beautifully decorated and well equipped. We were not too far from "civilization" in case we forgot to pack something. The property is well maintained, clean rooms and bathrooms/linens. The new chapel is truly beautiful certainly worth looking into for wedding plans. I could not be more pleased with our stay! The fireplace at the hot tub is awesome and the new lights give a festive appearance! As in the past, I was sorry to leave and cannot wait to come back next year!Recommended for: Sightseeing, tourists without a car, people with disabilities, girls getaway, families with young children, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with teenagers.

I rented this home the first weekend of October for a group of 14 with a small wedding on Saturday of 35. This setting was IDEAL for such a magical event. The chapel is BEAUTIFUL, the grounds are very well maintained with blossoming gardens and refreshing streams and waterfalls, the pool is heated with an automatic cover, and the jacuzzi is perfect for evening relaxation. This sincerely is such a special place. My group of 14 slept comfortably although we did have adults sharing rooms (as long as guests are okay with this arrangement, no problems with comfort or convenience). Denise (property owner) and Bruce (property manager) are WONDERFUL to work with. Bruce was extremely accomodating! The photos here do not do justice to how beautiful this property is. I am already planning another trip for the girls in Spring of next year and can hardly wait to get back. The only things I would point ou is that there a good deal of taxidermy, which may not suit everyone's particular tastes (beautiful pieces though for those who appreciate it). Also, the upstairs bathroom which is the area where most of our guests slept only has a tub with an attached shower head (European style), so most of my guests ended up showering downstairs. Neither of these things were issues for us, but some guests may not be as open to these.Recommended for: Sightseeing, tourists without a car, girls getaway, families with young children, pet owners, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with teenagers.

Your property is absolutely breathtaking. The house is beautifully decorated, comfortable and equipped with everything anyone could possibly ever want or need. The property is so diverse, so much to see and do. We enjoyed early morning visits with the horses (they inspired my daughter and her friend to take advantage of horseback riding just up the road), chickens and goats. Walks in the woods, and just sitting on the patio overlooking the pond watching the creek with waterfalls was so relaxing. The gardens serene. Of course the most popular place was the immense main patio. We spent the majority of our time here lounging in and around the pool, talking, playing games, sharing family meals and just plain old fashioned relaxing. We ended our evenings soaking in the jacuzzi. Yours is definitely a place for all of the senses. I do not want to forget to mention Bruce and Julie. You (as were we) are so lucky to have such wonderful people looking after things. They were always there for us in a heartbeat if we needed something. Finally, I would like to thank you Denise for going that extra mile (really more) to be sure that our family vacation was absolutely wonderful. It is easy to see how your home is so beautiful as that is just a reflection of the care you show for the people you share your home with. Thank you. What an awesome experience! Sooo relaxing and enjoyable. Loved every minute and hated to leave. Horseback riding was gret, chef was excellent. I cna only say that the weather did not cooperate but that did not make a big difference in the relaxing and enjoyable atmosphere. I would do it again in a heartbeat!Recommended for: Sightseeing, tourists without a car, girls getaway, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with teenagers.

Love ! Love ! Love this place. Quite , Unique, Owner Denise was Fantastic, Went out of her way to make sure we had a enjoyable and relaxing weekend. Took advantage of the in home Cook, and also had a massage therepist, and also went horse-backriding . We will be coming back next year. [ also saw plenty of deer on the property] A must see to believe !Recommended for: Sightseeing, tourists without a car, people with disabilities, girls getaway, families with young children, pet owners, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with teenagers.

About the owner: Both my husband and I work full time but enjoy spending time at the castle when we are able to do so. We enjoy having horses, if you like riding this is a unique place or you can just enjoy their natural beauty. This home is very unique and grand. It is a great place to have a large party, special event or a family get together.
Why the Owner Chose Port Sanilac:
My husband and I decided that we would like to have a farm with horses. We never thought we would find a castle. When we discovered this home, we were totally in love with it. Now we would like to share this home for people who have special events.
The Unique Benefits at this Castle:
