This wonderful house and location beat all of our expectations. The house really is beautifully decorated with everything in it you could possibly want for a great stay. Spacious and comfortable,light and airy and very well equipped. The views are tremendous and it's very quiet and serene with no other houses nearby. We would definately recommend this house and we,with a bit of luck, will be returning ourselves next year.

WOW what a house and view! This house is secluded and makes for a very relaxing getaway but yet close to Blowing Rock and Boone! Renting the house was easy and well worth the $'s - I have been traveling to Blowing Rock for years and this was by far the best place I have found! A must stay unless its a weekend I have chosen!!

My husband and I with our 3 adult children had a wonderful time over Christmas. This property is just as advertised. The view off the deck was amazing! The furnishings were new, the beds were all very comfortable and the kitchen was well appointed.Plenty of space for everyone and lots of windows to take in the views. The owner Kris and manager Steve were really easy to work with and very helpful.We loved being able to walk right out the kitchen door into the Pisgah. We had a great time hiking. And with all the land and forest it was the perfect place to have our dogs. We will most definitely be back!

My wife and I, and our two small dogs, had a wonderful time in this mountain home. It's situated just a few miles outside of Blowing Rock and is in an absolutely secluded spot with an amazing view off the back deck. So, if you're looking for a vacation spot with no neighbors, it'd be hard to be this home. Although we only used a small bit of the house, it is a very large home and would easily accomodate a much larger group. All the amenities you could need. If you enjoy outdoor exercising, the driveway (walking or running) is a super workout. We really enjoyed our stay, and coming from the SC coast, our dogs were as happy as they could be exploring the wilderness. Thanks Kris, Steve, and Casey! P.S. If you go in snowy/icy months, be sure to have a 4x4 like the owners advise; the driveway is quite steep in some spots.

This is a beautiful home, clean and neat. We stayed for the weekend with our friends a total of 8 adults and 6 kids ages from 6months to 8 years of age, we all fit very comfortably, and it was kid friendly, we spent a day in Tweetsie and it was only about 15 minutes away and enjoyed breakfast at the Daniel Boone Inn only about 20 minutes away. The view was absolutley gorgeous, and I would recommend this place to anyone. The property manager was very helpful in finding this home and answering all questions we had, and the home owner is wonderful, and made us feel so welcome to enjoy her home. THANKS!
