What a delightful four days my wife and I had at Kathy's cottage on the river. The mid-April weather and the location near Newland, NC was awesome allowing us to enjoy day trips to various mountain towns. Days end would find us back at the cottage relaxing on the back porch swing and/or rockers while listening to the sounds of the river flowing by . . . Extremely relaxing! Inside the cottage Kathy made our stay very comfortable. Amenities included a well equipped kitchen for those who choose to prepare their on meals. Other nice touches include plenty of coffee pods, popcorn and assortment of candies. All in all one of the best rental experiences we've encountered on our various trips. If you are looking for a place to stay in the NC mountains Kathy's place should be included on your list of possibilities.

The cottage was very clean and well decorated. Kathy was great to communicate with when I had a few questions before arrival. She has all the little extras for a great stay. LOVED the cottage and especially enjoyed spending time in front of the fire and watching the snow. Magical! Located in a great location to get to so many fantastic things. Winery right down the road which was fantastic. Would highly recommend to anyone and hope to be back soon! !
