  We just returned from a week at your villa, and I want to thank you Frank for making your home available for rent. It was the most beautiful vacation home I have ever experienced. The photos and the description in the listing were accurate, and the caretaker, Eric was very helpful about getting us settled in including taking us to our car rental. I went with my two grown daughters and my best friend for a quick escape from winter. We were beyond thrilled when we arrived at the villa. The balcony and pool area were expansive and filled with comfortable, attractive furniture. And the view is priceless - simply breathtaking! The house is very large, we each had our own bedroom and bathroom, and the kitchen and living room were great for hanging out together at night. We drove to the national park beaches during the day and they are perfect. We stopped at the Grotto Deli at Mongoose Junction and picked up sandwiches for the beach, it is an exceptionally good deli with homemade bread and salads. I feel so fortunate that we had this vacation. Next time we all want to come back with our husbands. But for a girls vacation - we treated ourselves to luxury and adventure. I recommend the house wholeheartedly and hope to return.

  Vistaero is the perfect St. John home for a large family or several couples on vacation. We, 4 couples and six children, have rented different homes for 14 vacations on St. John and this home and it's unique location is by far the best yet. It is so convenient to Cruz Bay and the North Shore beaches are a 15 minute ride. The views are spectacular, there is always a nice breeze and it is clearly the best location on the island. The furnishings are lovely, very comfortble beds and wonderful deck furniture - a fablous vacation home. The pictures are a true representation of the home today. Also, Frank, the owner is a first class person to work with. I cannot imagine anyone ever being disappointed with this home and the special location. We will definitely choose Vistaero for our next visits to St. John.

  I travel down to the Carib almost every year for the last 10 years and nothing blew my mind like vistaero. Property, imho, has the best views - you can see the other virgin islands. Pool and jacuzzi are brand new (you can tell owner takes pride in this home). Outdoor living space is great, inside decor is nice w/ beautiful ktichen and bedrooms are perfect, again, there is plenty of room for everyone. Also, dealing with the owner was 100% pleasant. He was very helpful and made sure we had everything setup prior to our arrival. Overall - A+ work.

  My fiance and I had an amazing getaway to St. John and we stayed at Vistaero. We couldn't ask for a more romantic and private villa! It is close enough to town that we went down every day to either eat lunch or dinner or hang out at a local bar! It was a beautiful drive down to town, the beach and over to Coral Bay. We enjoyed every restaurant that we went to, especially Zozo's, Wharfside Bistro and Margarita Phil's! We can't wait to bring our friends and family next time, since the villa has 5 bedrooms and enough space to fit all of them!

  Our group of 11 thirty-somethings stayed at Villa Vistaero for 8 amazing nights in late March, and it met or exceeded all of our expectations. I have pretty high standards for vacation spots and organized the group...so needless to say I put a lot of time and effort into researching villas on St. John. We wanted something with ocean views, enough space for 11, not too far from Cruz Bay for restaurants/nightlife, a pool, and comfortable bedrooms. When our group arrived at the villa, we were absolutely blown away, not just by the AMAZING views, but by the great layout and spaciousness of the villa. Every bedroom has its own bathroom and the same view of Rendezvous Bay, which is so great when you're traveling with a big group. They are all connected by huge decks, so it's almost as if each is its own little suite, which is nice for privacy. There was plenty of seating for everyone on the expansive deck, plenty of shade for those of us who burn easily, and the pool and jacuzzi were fantastic. The setting is just so stunning that it feels like you're in a dream - it's like you're on top of the water. I will say the drive up/down is a bit challenging, as are most roads on St. John, but we got the hang of it and didn't have any issues. It took about 5-7 min to get to the Westin area, 10-12 to get into town. You absolutely need to rent 4WD cars as the villa is not on the main drag (a good thing!) and I don't think cabs frequent those roads. When you first arrive at the villa, it's hard to imagine ever wanting to leave, but I do recommend exploring the fabulous beaches on the north shore of the island, and spending some time in the Coral Bay area (Skinny Legs!) as well. For dinner my favorite was the Lime Inn, but another couple in our group had a great dinner at ZoZo's as well. The rooms were comfortable--nothing fancy but very well appointed. The A/C worked well and there were ceiling fans in every room (not to mention the ocean breezes), so we were never hot. Importantly, it was so peaceful and quiet. I stayed in another location on the island last year which had construction going on nearby - none of that here, so we slept very well. The owner was great to work with also - very organized and helpful. I think that makes a difference when you're renting a home like this on an island. Overall we would definitely come back to Villa Vistaero! I HIGHLY recommend it to anyone out there!!

  We took 11 people to your villa and had a great time! We cooked in every night but one. Three of our kids are chefs and we didn't want to leave the views. The house is designed perfectly to take advantage of these views, yet allow everyone to have their privacy. The pool and jacuzzi were used everyday. We had wonderful weather. We hiked 3 or 4 trails and snorkeled almost every bay.Thanks for all your info on the island. It was most helpful. Dinner at Zo-Zo's was delicious. Our family picture on your deck will be our X-mas card this year. WE CAN'T IMAGINE A BETTER PLACE FOR A FAMILY VACATION Reid Dusenberry Reid Dusenberry

  If you are having any doubts about this place, DON'T! It's phenomenal. We have a group of five 35-45 year old couples who travel together to St. John annually. We have voted this the best villa on the island. The views are unlike any I have seen from anywhere on St. John, except from the water. You will wake up to the sunrise and be able to have drinks as you watch the sunset. It is convenient to Cruz Bay (10 min max), which is where you will find the markets, shopping and dining. (Fish Trap and Banana Deck-both are excellent). Don't let the drive scare you, its straight up to the villa, but once you are there it's so secluded and private. There is not a house anywhere near you, the closest one is about 200 feet below you. For this reason, I do not advise jogging while here, it will be the worst run of your life unless you like running up and down extremely steep hills. The accomodations were great. Beds slept well, bedrooms are huge with big bathrooms. Space is not a problem. Everyone in your group will be able to retire to private rooms with complete privacy. The owners were wonderful to work with. They are always quick to respond and have many good recommendations for whatever you want to do. We only had one minor problem with the hot tub and it was fixed within a couple of hours on a Sunday! They have great people working for them that respond to your every need within hours. We highly recommend chartering a boat for the day and touring the BVI. If you go to Ivan's which is the best, look for our yellow shirt on the wall. We have used the same captain for several years at Water Edge Charters, he is young, energetic and you will have a good time. I would also recommend having some grocery shopping done for you before you arrive. Villafoodvi.com was right on with what we ordered. Its not worth the waste of time your first day or so. A few must do's: drive down Centerline road to the other end of the island. Have a drink at Skinny Legs (take a look at our pic on the wall) Keep going until the road ends and have lunch at Vie's Snack Shack. Turn around and go back the other direction toward Salt Pond and stop at Shipwreck Landing for some conch fritters and drinks. If your lucky there you can meet a local VI artist that frequents there, he is a very interesting and talented man. Bottom line, Vistaero will not disappoint and worth every penny. Awesome! We will definately be back next year.
