Georgia Riverstone Lodge has your dream Georgia cabin waiting for a memorable vacation in the beautiful North Georgia Mountains near the quaint town of Ellijay. Our upscale cabin is located in the beautiful gated river community of Coosawattee River Resort situated directly on the river.
The cabin is outfitted with a large outdoor seven person hot tub, a game room with pool, foosball, and ping pong, and canoes and tubes for use. There are three spacious bedrooms that easily sleep 20 people, each with their own bathroom. Come and relax, you’ll never have to leave with all the amenities provided! Come spend a weekend or longer in our cabin and feel the cares of everyday life slip away. Riverstone Lodge is located on the Coosawattee River and has a tree lined view. You can hear the sound of the rushing water echoing up from the river. Ellijay, Ga. is an easy, scenic 60-minute drive north of Atlanta by freeway and four-lane parkway.
Our cabin is available for rental year-round. Each season has its own unique beauty: dogwoods, mountain laurel, and rhododendron in the spring; the deep blue river with white accents, dark greens of the trees in the summer; a vast sea of hardwoods that are on fire with color in the fall; and, if you're lucky, a white blanket of snow in the winter. The Coosawattee River Resort community is packed with wildlife. Deer, turkey, ducks, and countless other forms of wildlife are destined to be observed on a long walk or drive through the mountain complex. Had an amazing stay with family (7 adults + 1 toddler). Loved everything about the cabin! Will return and recommend to friends! Owners are very pleasant, thorough, and helpful throughout booking process and during stay called to welcome us and ask if we needed anything.Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, people with disabilities, age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

Enjoyed our stay. Cabin was very spacious for our family of 7. Kitchen was very well stocked and made cooking meals easy. Beds were very comfortable. We would love to come back when the weather is better. Rain all week end but the river was very interesting to watch. Road to the cabin is a little scary the first time. We saw lots of deer and geese. Owners were good to work with.Recommended for: Age 55+, romantic getaway, families with young children.

This house has everything you will need! We played every type of game possible with our friends. The house was very nice and we had a great time relaxing by the river and fire pit. Thanks Sarah and Ian for working with us to make our weekend enjoyable. We will return for sure, maybe with our kids next time...Recommended for: Adventure seekers, families with teenagers, families with young children.

If you're looking for a wonderful vacation rental, this is it!!! The cabin is beautiful, as is the property. The river runs through the back yard. Our family of eleven stayed for a week and we weren't ready to come home. My husband and I are in our 50s, my children and their spouses are mid twenties. We also have 5 grand-children, ages 8 months - 12 years. Everyone had a great time.The only time we left the property was to go to the grocery store and drive to the bridge to go tubing. We enjoyed having canoes and tubes supplied by the owners. I got some beautiful pictures of the grand-kids playing in the shallow part of the river. We also got to do some fishing. We hadn't even left and we were already talking about "the next time we come back". Whether it's nature, fishing or just getting away from it all, you can't go wrong with this place. It has a "make yourself at home" feeling. I really can't say enough about River-stone Lodge. There is truly something here for everyone to enjoy. This house turned out to be better than any of us could imagine. The listing description and the photos were a very accurate representation. The owners were very friendly and helpful and answered all of my questions promptly. The property was also very clean and well maintained. I have already referred a few people to stay at this excellent property. The only issue we had was that both propane tanks were empty, but it wasn't a big deal because there was plenty of charcoal and lighter fluid for the grill by the river. Thanks again for everything and I will definitely be returning!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, families with teenagers, families with young children.

About the owner: Hi, my name is Sarah Hamilton. Our family recently purchased a cabin in Ellijay, Georgia, a beautiful town located in the North Georgia mountains. We as a family have been upgrading and cleaning the cabin to make it the best cabin around. Living only an hour and a half from the cabin really comes in handy for quick trips up both for work and pleasure.
Why the Owner Chose Ellijay:
Our cabin is located in the gated community of Coosawatte River Resort, this allows for a safe and enjoyable environment. Within the community are a vast array of amenities from pools to gyms to put-put, the resort really offers every amenity one could ever need. The cabin itself is located on a wide river with many beautiful rapids, which allows for fun kayaking, canoe and tube trips. Along with a beautiful river view, there are amazing mountain views!
