Retiro de lujo frente al río: ¡Bienvenido a toda su familia! Hermoso todo el año!

Esta cabaña está convenientemente ubicada a solo minutos del centro de Ellijay y el Festival de Apple, pero parece que está a kilómetros de la civilización. Es una cabaña de 4 dormitorios y 3 ½ baños en el bosque, a solo unos pasos de un hermoso río que se puede escuchar en toda la propiedad y la casa. Los nativos americanos alguna vez prosperaron en esta área y consideraron los ríos sagrados.

El Master-on-main tiene un colchón king size nuevo con cubierta tipo almohada, una sala de estar con TV de pantalla plana y un baño grande con ducha y bañera de hidromasaje separadas para dos. Se abre hacia el patio delantero de piedra y la cubierta trasera con vistas al río a través de puertas francesas. La bañera de hidromasaje está a solo unos pasos.

Un segundo dormitorio en el nivel inferior cuenta con una cama queen size con un colchón de almohada Sealy de algodón orgánico de alta gama. Hay una gran vista del río y esta habitación tiene su propio patio separado. El baño completo con ducha / bañera combinado es adyacente.

Arriba hay un lindo loft que domina el comedor y la chimenea. Hay un rincón para computadora con escritorio y un futón tamaño queen que se puede plegar para dormir uno o dos. Perfecto para leer un libro o tomar una siesta.

Un tercer dormitorio arriba tiene vista al río y tiene una nueva cama queen size. La terraza exterior privada accesible a través de puertas corredizas de vidrio es un excelente lugar para disfrutar del café de la mañana. El baño completo con ducha es adyacente.

El cuarto dormitorio es una suite muy grande que cuenta con medio baño privado y una terraza separada con vista al frente de la propiedad. Hay tres literas de tamaño completo más dos camas gemelas adicionales que tienen camas nido extraíbles de dos camas. También hay una sala de estar. Esta sala puede dormir 7-10 personas. Gran sala para todos los niños!

Todas las sábanas y toallas son nuevas, limpias y de color blanco brillante.

La cocina cuenta con electrodomésticos de acero inoxidable, que incluyen un nuevo refrigerador Samsung de acero inoxidable, estufa a gas con cuatro topes, horno doble y lavaplatos. Hay un microondas, una nueva cafetera Keurig, una cafetera Cuisinart con cafetera, una tostadora, una plancha y muchos otros electrodomésticos / dispositivos. La cocina ha sido recientemente remodelada con encimeras de granito con una barra que puede acomodar hasta 6 personas en taburetes.

Hay una mesa de comedor para más de 10 personas en el comedor, más hasta 6 en el bar de la cocina, más una segunda mesa en la sala de estar con capacidad para 2-4. Un montón de asientos para todos.

Esta casa puede acomodar fácilmente grandes fiestas o familias. Sería perfecto para grupos grandes o retiros. También hay mucho espacio para estacionar.

Si bien esta cabina no cumple con las normas y regulaciones para discapacitados de la ADA, es amigable para discapacitados. Las principales salas de estar son de un nivel sin escaleras. El lote nivelado, a pesar de estar rodeado de montañas, con acceso al río sin escaleras. Por favor llame con cualquier pregunta sobre necesidades especiales.

We had a great relaxing time, doing puzzles, having family meals, hanging out in the river, exploring the trails. Was great to be able to bring the dogs for a change. Only cleaning issues was due to the previous renters dogs, but we cleaned that all up nothing with the actual home! They had everything we needed though we brought supplies because we were staying so long with so many people and we didn't want to run out.

Amazing place for a group

We had 16 people for two friends’ birthday. We played a fun murder mystery, lounged by the river and fire pit, cooked great group meals including on the outside grill, and just layed around the couches on a rainy day. 10/10.

It was a good place for a family reunion and everyone enjoyed themselves.

Two bedrooms did not have TVs and we ran out of propane in the grill. Other than that it was an enjoyable day for everyone.

2024 Family Vacation

Our family had a great time at The Lodge! We really enjoyed the creek being right at the cabin! Owner was awesome! A bear did show up so that was exciting. Beautiful landscaping around the whole property!

Ellijay Vacation

House and property are in a great location - ample parking, close to town and restaurants. Listing should be updated to not include a spa as an amenity. A note of caution about reserving kayaks - even with a confirmation of availability, check again before arrival. Also, the unsubstantiated accusation of early arrival will be addressed with VRBO.

Family vacation

Home was neat and clean. Had fun catching fish and playing in the stream and at the waters edge. Ended our days of fun at the fire pit with s’mores. Had a great evening at the Ellijay American Legion Post. Also, enjoyed playing pickle ball at the rec area in Ellijay.

Amazing Retreat

We had a group of 19 men and we were blown away by having the stream right out the back door, with the decks bar overlooking the water and the firepit along the waters edge! the kitchen had everything and having the bunk room allowed us to house so many! The owner was sooo helpful and provided us with everything we need and always promptly responded when we reached out! We couldn't recommend this place more! 😊❤️

Mountain Paradise on the water

Amazing cabin on Mountaintown Creek. The experience here was second to none! The cabin is huge, yet cozy and inviting. As clean and well-stocked as any cabin we have ever stayed in. The kitchen has anything you need to prepare a meal for two or twenty. The mattresses, pillows and linens were that of a five star hotel. Lots of private space upstairs for the kiddos, such a great floor plan at this cabin. Large dining room table, as well as a stunning live edge bar on the deck, which overlooks the creek. Amazing fire pit next to the water, which was stocked with firewood and log starter! This cabin is situated on a large level lot, making it easy to meander around and enjoy the beautiful setting, play outdoor games etc. We caught a couple of nice trout, had multiple cookouts on the large grill, told stories by the fire, kayaked (rented the ones on site) tubed, enjoyed some fine dining at locally owned restaurants, visited an apple orchard/farmers market and took a short drive to beautiful Carters Lake. We truly made a lot of special memories here. I have to mention the welcome basket. It was absolutely well thought out and prepared especially for our family. The host (Ashley) was very respectful, responsive to our questions and has the southern hospitality that makes a great trip just a little bit better! We will be back soon!

Labor Day Getaway

Amazing family get together. We were a party of 10 plus some doggies. The location and house setting is beautiful. I have never been at such a well supplied vacation home. From a well stocked kitchen, games, blankets, dog bowls, the fire pit set up etc. So warm and welcoming we felt like we were visiting someones home. Listening to the creek right outside the door was so relaxing. We spent most our time outside fishing, kayaking, playing in the creek and cooking on the grills. Game nights were fun at the large table to seat all of us while others enjoyed the large screen TV. We were able to enjoy local outings to the Farmers Market, Apple Orchard and a Winery. The only thing I would be aware of is the road turns into gravel and can be tricky in a few spots if you have a little car or sports car. Other than that this place is a treasure!

Wonderful

We had a great experience at Mountain Creek lodge. It was exactly as described and pictured and Ashley was very communicative and helpful. We rented the house for my mother’s 80th birthday and had 12 family members ranging from 3 to 86. Every member of the family enjoyed the river and there was plenty of room in the house. We especially loved the huge round griddle grill and used it everyday. Ashley gave us tons of extra information about fun things to do and good fishing locations. The fire pit was terrific and the kayaks were well used. We would definitely stay again.

Great vacation for water lovers

We have vacationed in the blue ridge area every summer for the last 14 years but this was our first rental in Ellijay. We loved the cabin and especially the easy access to the river. We spent a lot of time sitting in the water, fishing (didn’t catch much) and tubing. Enjoyed the fire pit at night. Plenty of room for relaxing, eating and sleeping for our large party. Enjoyed shopping downtown and the local wineries. We had friends rent the cabin next door which was perfect.

We really enjoyed the location and property. We were sad to learn that the hot tub is no longer there. But the kids had plenty of fun in the creek. Great place for a family or even a family and friends because the cabin sleeps so many!

Fun, family friendly house

We had a wonderful stay, house was perfect for our family which included 4 kids (ages 1,2,3 and 4). Ashleigh was very sweet and attentive to our needs. The river in the back was the highlight of our trip and offered a lot of options for the kids to use theirs imaginations while the parents sat down and relaxed for a while. Thank you Ashleigh!

Thanksgiving Week with Family

We had the best time at this cabin! Ashleigh is the greatest owner. She was so helpful and full of knowledge. The cabin was very comfortable for all of us. The kitchen was well equipped. Fire pit was a hit. Watch out for diving beavers at night! You will not be disappointed here. Thanks and we will be back!

Great cabin on the river

Ashleigh was great! So helpful and communicative. We had 6 adults and 9 kids and there was more than enough space for all of us. We spend most of our time by the fire pit and the river, but loved the whole property. The kids loved the hot tub and us guys loved the grill! The beds were comfy, and the kitchen and dining was just big enough to comfortably allow us to have a few nights of dinners in. Definitely recommend!

Neat cabin close to it all!

Beautiful spacious cabin just off the beaten path. Located 7-8 minutes to Ellijay and about 25 to Blue Ridge. Just around the corner is the coolest apple barn! Owner is very responsive and helpful with activities and local happenings. Safe bet for a huge cabin with everything you will need to tap out for a few days!

Perfect- Just what we needed!

Ashleigh was amazing and very easy to contact. We came right in and felt at home. Such a gorgeous house and lot- we spent so much time outside fishing, playing, and sitting by the campfire. The hot tub was an amazing plus for us as well. We plan to come back!!

We had a great time. My kids loved kayaking and floating in the river on the hot afternoons. Ashleigh was great to work with, gravel road is a little rough, we went in and out each day and blew out the suspension in my SUV. Great place to escape from the city!

Summer Fam Jam

We spent the annual "Fam Jam" here and had an absolute fantastic time. This is a beautiful piece of property that sits right on the river. It is peaceful and tranquil. There was 16 of us in total with 6 kids ranging from 2 -15 years old. There was something for everyone from tubing down the river, to fishing and kayaking and hot tubing. The fire pit was enjoyed by all, the kids made s'mores in the early evening and the adults enjoyed beverages later in the evening. We did a lot of things in the area from fly fishing, to wine tasting, brewery hopping, water water rafting and tubing on the Cartecay River. We took a couple longer adventures to the Atlanta Aquarium as well as the Chattanooga Zoo. The house has everything you could need to make family dinners. The patio area and grill was used daily and thoroughly enjoyed. The hostess, Ashleigh, was absolutely amazing and extremely responsive and easy to communicate with when we had questions or need assistance.

I purchased this Lodge13 years ago because I visited it and fell in love with the properties.... they are truly unique and magical ! I am an avid fly-fisher and love kayaking..... both are perfect for both!

Additionally, I purchased the Cottage, directly next door to the Lodge, for the same reasons. Stunningly beautiful shelf of the river. Rent both properties and you can float or kayak from one property to the other.

I am happy to share my slices of Heaven on Earth with others.

It is directly on the water, it's spacious, it is unique, and it is beautiful in all seasons. It is a very humble and welcoming log cabin but it has all of the modern amenities needed to stay in touch with the rest of the world.

The house footprint is grand-fathered on the water and is only a few feet from the sandy beach into the river. It is very rare to have a handicapped-friendly property on a level lot on a trophy trout stream.

Qué hace que este alojamiento sea especial

It is an incredibly remote cabin in the woods but only a few minutes from town. Many properties are difficult to reach due to unstable and or long gravel roads or complicated gate passwords. This property has all of the feelings of mountain living but is in the ideal location for traveling to town.

Additionally, the property is surrounded by mountains but it is a very level lot with an easy sandy beach into the water. Older guests and younger guests can easily enjoy getting in the river without scaling steep rocks or flights of steps. Although there is one step to enter the house, the main part of the house is all one level with no steps so it is convenient for travelers who are not mobile. The master ensuite with king bed and one queen guest bedrooms with adjacent bathroom are on the main level.
