If you love golf, you will love Springlake Golf Resort. There are two excellent 18 hole golf courses and a casual 9 hole course. Fall golf prices on the 18 hole courses run $20 to $25 per round including cart. Golf prices after the new year generally run from $25 to $35 per round including cart. There are many other golf courses in the area that are similarly priced. The Spring Lake golf course has a fine dining restaurant and a pub that serves good pub food and the refreshments some of us need after a round of golf. We have a practice putting green right in the villa complex and a driving range a very short distance from the villa.
Our villa is one of ten units where the lanai backs right on to the larger of two swimming pools in the complex. The pool area has subtle lighting in the evening which makes the area around the pool very pretty and relaxing. The resort is on a road that circles the two golf courses and provides a nice 1 hour and 15 minute walk by beautiful homes and open natural areas full of birds and plant life. The walk starts and ends at the villas. There are fishing and horse riding outfitters close by and there are many other lakes and park areas to explore. Our villa is outfitted like our home (it was our home). We loved the area so much that we bought a home in Spring Lake so we are close by if you have any problems or need any information. Sebring, which is a short drive, is the trading centre for the entire area and has numerous restaurants and lots of shopping.
This is a great place for a holiday.

Property was very clean. We loved and appreciated the spacious living and dining areas. The furniture and decorating was very updated and cozy. Kitchen had anything we needed and the bedding and bath towels seemed brand new! We enjoyed sitting out on the patio (lanai) afternoons...Perfect place for golfers! The 3 courses in Spring Lake were so close we played them 8 days out of the 13 we were there! Close to many resturants, shopping and other things to do in the area. The complex was very quiet and everyone was friendly...There was just 2 of us but there is plenty of room for 4. We would love to visit again sometime and would recommend to anyone heading to the area. Thank you so much for sharing your "Home" with us!Recommended for: Sightseeing, girls getaway, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, age 55+.
