                            Downtown Durango offers so many great restaurants, shops and super walking/biking trails, that it is a bonus to stay in a condo like this one that is right there, just walk out the back garage door. The unit is nicely decorated, quite comfortable and clean. The master bedroom and bathroom are very nice, the only drawback is it backs on an alleyway where folks gather at night and you can hear their conversations. We think maybe the windows were not quite closed so this may get fixed. We truly enjoyed our stay in Durango and are glad we chose a downtown location for our first visit. It was so much fun to be able to walk everywhere, really, really convenient. Enjoy!

They open at the top and bottom, and unfortunately it looks like someone left the top open about an inch on both master bedroom windows. It's no wonder you could hear goings on outside.                             My first review involves the owner who was simply amazing before, during, and after our stay. We are a family of five. Both bathrooms seems like a master; they are large in size and top of the line. The master bath even has a flat screen TV. The entire master suite was a dream, with an elevated bed to provide fabulous mountain views out of the picture window. The kitchen is HUGE for a condo, with granite, stainless steel, everything you could want. We enjoyed skiing at DMR and ice-climbing in Cascade Canyon. Both of these areas were easy access up the highway, about 25-30 minutes. A cozy fire in the condo at the end of the day was so nice, and only took the flip of a switch. Of course, we also enjoyed downtown, as everything is within walking distance of this condo. We ate our New Year's dinner at the Strater Hotel, had breakfast at the Starbuck's located around the corner, ate at other restaurants all within a 5 minute walk and did a lot of (window) shopping, The Durango/LaPlata airport is about a 25 minute drive. Grocery stores for supplies are plentiful, within a 3 minute drive. The security at this condo was like Fort Knox. Everyone was very friendly also. The only downside was that the second bunk bedroom was small and too tight to fit the trundle, which did not come out easily either and we were afraid we would break it (more), so we did not use it. Therefore, my youngest daughter, age 9, slept on the couch which was large and comfortable There are plenty of extra pillows and bedding available in the large master walk-in closet. You should know that my two other kids are 14 and 12, the size of adults/very tall for their age. So, if you are bringing your young kids or toddlers, the room will be perfect. We did have to move personal items out of the way and the kids' room closet was messy upon our arrival; however, I mentioned this to the owner and I know that with his attention to detail and wanting to please his guests, this is taken care of for future renters. We recommend this condo if you are planning a visit to wonderful Durango.

                            My family of 6 stayed here this weekend. We had a great stay and as other reviewers have said, the location is excellent; the condo was clean, well furnished, and very comfortable. Underground parking, Ken and Sues' restaurant a block away, Starbucks next door, and a great western club across the street made this location ideal. The owners were accommodating and very easy to work with. We highly recommend this property and we will stay there again next time we are in Durango.

                            First time in Durango and will definitely return. The condo has everything you'd need, including underground parking. Location is right downtown, so everything is in walking distance. This place has to be one of the best deals on VRBO!

                            We just returned from staying in this condo and had a great stay. The location and the accommodations are excellent. You can walk to everything in town and to trailheads for hiking. We were especially pleased that there is secure parking for two vehicles with a safe place for the bikes.

                            Recommended for: Age 55+.

                            This condo is truly in one of the best downtown locations in Durango. Literally 1 block from the train station and easy walking to all of the Main street shops and restaurants. You can also keep you car(s) parked cleanly in the complex's garage. We'll definitely stay here again on our next visit to Durango.

                            Condo is clean and well furnished. It is located in a perfect area of Durango as you can walk to restaurants and shopping. The underground parking just makes this place even better. I highly recommend.

                            Wonderful Location! This condo is in an awesome spot for walking to all restaurants and shops in the downtown area! We enjoyed all of the restaurants that we tried and the people were so friendly! Great place to stay and base out of if you want to do Day Trips to nearby cities. Neat layout of the condo with several TV's if you would be tempted to stay inside. I enjoyed the great access through the garage and felt very secure with access codes for elevators and front doors, since I was visiting from a big city . Durango is such a neat and quaint town, this is the perfect spot to stay and enjoy all the activities around! Thanks for making our stay special!
