Lakefront Condo with large pool, tennis & volleyball courts plus fishing pier.The Winterset Community is on the shores of Lake Winterset, part of Winter Havens famed 'Chain of Lakes'. Winterset is a gated community with 24 hour security. Lots of green spaces for a walk or a run. Winter Haven was famous as the home of Cypress Gardens, its now the home of the brand new theme park LEGOLAND FLORIDA. Legoland has preserved the main garden area from the old Cypress Gardens, be sure to check their web site..
Winter Haven has many restaurant's, golf and shopping and sill retains that small town charm. Our condo is the perfect location to explore all Central Florida, a Disney vist without the crazy traffic all the time or a trip to the beach.

You can take a swim in the heated lakeside pool or a walk by the lake. But the best by far is relaxing on the screened porch with family and friends. Enjoying the views, watching a sea plane land on the lake, or at sunset when the sun seems to drop into the lake, every afternoon!

We enjoyed our stay at this condo in Winter Haven. We had never stayed in this area before and found it very interesting with all the lakes and gardens near by. The condo was well supplied and had comfortable beds. Many good eating spots in the vacinity as well. Some favorites of our were Mannys, Pasquales, and Old Harry's. It had a very nice pool and hot tub and it was nice being in a gated community.Recommended for: Sightseeing, age 55+.

Great setting and friendly neighbors. Pool was heated. Condo was centrally located. Would recommend to others,Recommended for: Sightseeing, age 55+.

The condo has a beautiful view and is in a quiet gated community. Neighbors were friendly. It is close to many attractions. The pool is very nice. The condo was very comfortable and nicely furnished. It is on the second floor and has steep steps. It does have a railing. Parking is available right in front of condo. I would recommend this condo to a friend or relative. I plan to return to this condo if possible on my future visits to Florida. We enjoyed our visit here very much. We also enjoyed a nice dinner at Manny's Chophouse in Lake Wales. Did not distract from our stay but internet access would be convenient.Recommended for: Sightseeing, age 55+, girls getaway.

About the owner: Hi, I'm Don and my wife is Diane. We have had the condo in Winter Haven for 6 years. We own Laurel Mountain Cabins, a vacation cabin rental business, in the town of Hiawassee in the North Georgia Blue Ridge Mountains. We moved to the mountains from Winter Haven 12 years ago. We are not able to get to Florida as much as we would like. So we rent it to nice people like you. My daughter, Alyssa lives in the Winterset area and helps us make our guests at the condo comfortable. We own all our vacation rentals, we must make you happy. We will satisfy you, that's our promise.

Its homey and comfortable has, a heated pool and a great lake with wonderful views. Its close to town, shopping and restaurants, but has a country feel when you pass thru the guard gate. The grounds are spacious, green and well cared for, makes a good place for my daily walk.
