Has it's own screened in heated pool and is located in Oak Island Cove, a subdivision of the Formosa Gardens area, Kissimmee. The 192 and all it amenities are half mile from the property, Disney is four miles!! WE JUST ADDED THE INTERNET THRU COMCAST MODEM.

New - this home has free international calls and free longdistance calls for the duration of your stay - quite a plus for our out of state and overseas also have free internet acess via the modem.

We accommodate Disney vacationers, groups attending Orange County Convention center, International Drive visitors, and Osceola county's newest convention center " Gaylord palms" is close by. Those visiting the Orlando area, Universal studios and Islands of Adventure, Sea World, the Water Parks etc. are just 10 minutes away. Orlando International ( MCO) and Tampa airport are 25 minutes away. Sanford airport is 50 minutes away.

Tampa is a half hour drive from Oak Island Cove - visit Busch Gardens or one of the pristine beaches of the Gulf coast. It takes one and half hours to get to St. Petersburg or Clearwater. The East Coast - Cocoa Beach, Melbourne and Kennedy Space Center are a 1 hour drive. For those interested in golf there are 6 golf courses within 10 minutes drive including the newly opened Champions Gate 36 hole golf course designed by Greg Norman.

The Walt Disney World golf courses are open to you - tee of with Mickey and his friends. Diamond Back, Kissimmee Oaks, Falcon's Fire are some of Florida's finest golf clubs. For those interested in nature visit the Nature Conservancy, or go horseback riding.

Oak Island Cove is a blend of residential and vacation properties.

The property is newly built to a high standard, with many upgrades. The two master suites, one with patio doors out to the pool make this an ideal home for two families on vacation together. Oak Island Cove provides a great location for guests wishing to be close to Disney, many guests visit the parks and come back to the house through the day to freshen up, and return to the parks for the evening activities. The home provides an ideal place to relax and unwind at the end of an exhausting day at the parks, or to simply relax at the home by the pool on non park days.

The pool area has table and chairs plus loungers for those wishing to sunbathe or relax and eat out by the pool. We have a baby safe fence around the pool for your safety, plus pool alarms.

The pool has optional electric heat for the cooler months.

  • We stayed in the house 8/1-8/8/09. The house was perfect. The 3 full bathrooms made getting ready a breeze. The kitchen was very well equiped. We were on the go every day to the various parks in Orlando and the house was a perfect location. It was our first time staying in a vacation home vs a hotel & we will definitely do it again! The pool felt great after a long day at the parks! I would recommend this home to anyone without hesitation!

I visit yearly but this was the first time i stayed in a vacation home and it was the best ever. Michelle was very accomidating and any question i had she was always available to answer. i will continue to rent this vacation home it was truly a relax and comforting environment.

  • We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this Kissimmee house. We found the facilities bright, clean and well cared for. It was close to all the major attractions, shopping and restaurants were just minutes away. It is the ideal way for a family to visit the area... with a wonderful, relaxing place to come "home" to at the end of a long day at the parks. We would recommend this to anyone and plan to return in the future. Michelle was a pleasure to deal with. Thanks for everything.

  • This is the second time that I have rented a home in Florida. I was very pleased with everything. It was clean, neat, and the decor was lovely. The location is fabulous. The house was ideal for all family members. The owners provided every convience imaginable. The only suggestion is more televisions throughout the house.   • Everyone needs a sanctuary, even Superman had a fortress of solitude. A he could go to reenergize, and get away from the hectic pace of everyday life. He had this, and he wasn't even vacationing in Orlando! How much more those who do take a family vacation in Orlando? This house serves as a fortress of solitude, a place of quiet respite away from the chaotic pace of the hustle and bustle of the ‘happiest place on earth,’ which is mere moments away. The pool offers a private area of cool refreshment, the spacious rooms, and clean interior, a place to relax & unwind. Michelle is a gracious, and informative host who ensures your stay is a comfortable one.
