The historical shipwreck known to locals as "The Old Richmond" lies approximately 75 yards off the shore. If the conditions are right and the water is calm, the site is rather easy to free dive. If adventure isn't your forte, you can still admire The Old Richmond from afar and feel confident that you have walked the shores of the Graveyard of the Atlantic.

The cottage is perfect for a single couple. Cathy was very nice and available for any questions or information I needed. She definately wants you to feel at home. I really enjoyed the quiet, relaxing area. You can sit on the front deck and watch the sunrise. It is a very short walk to the beach which was not crowded at all.Recommended for: Sightseeing, romantic getaway.

A great little cottage - a two block walk to the beach!!! And only a block from a small convenient store, which has everything you might ever need. The cottage is perfect for two or three people. We loved having the outdoor shower, for washing all the sand off when you get home from the beach. There is a large closet, and a handy laundry basket to use. Cathy has added some nice touches to make the cottage cozy - fresh paint, flowers (artificial, but still a nice touch), and nice linens. She and her Aunt were nearby and very helpful. We would definitely recommend this cottage as a quiet, clean, economical place to stay away from the hustle and bustle of up north.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, romantic getaway, age 55+, adventure seekers.
