Views are amazing
Views are amazing
Overall the unit was fine. Views were good, beds comfortable. The main drawback was the location of the bathroom which was off one of the bedrooms. We had to go through the bedroom to get to it. This unit is best rented to one couple. Multiple guests are difficult due to the location of the bathroom.

Our stay in Temecula was the main part of our US visit. The property overlooks a valley and across to Mt Palomar in the near distance. Peaceful and quiet yet minutes to shops and restaurants with eagles soaring during the day and stars by night it was our home away. The owners were amazingly generous and hospitable and were there to help and answer any questions without encroaching upon our privacy.I believe that we have gained a genuine friendship and would look forward to staying here upon a return journey. The house is comfortable with new furnishings, kitchen, bathroom, etc etc. and plentiful equipment to enable an issue free long term stay. All in all, it was fun! Thank you for an enjoyable time sharing your culture.

Owner response: We are so glad to have met you and your son and become life-long friends. You can always count on us to be your home when you are in the US. Thank you for noting the privacy but the convenience. We can't wait to see you again. Stay in touch and remember...we would love to have your son with us for the holidays!
My wife and I and my cousin and his wife stayed 4 days and the place was perfect for us. Really enjoyed the quiet and comfort. The stars and view were amazing and it is close to many wineries AND old town Temecula. The owners were friendly and very helpful. We will stay again!

Owner response: We are so glad the cousins had a great time! :) Thanks for your great review!
Our stay was perfect because of the thought that the owners put in to the details in this lovely home. The two bedroom home is spacious, the beds and bedding super comfy. The bathroom is especially beautiful. Glass tile are in the bath and kitchen. The kitchen is well equipped with everything you could need. The bath even had extra toothbrushes. The yard has many lovely lemon trees. Our dog was warmly welcomed. In the evening, we sat on the patio and enjoyed the stars. There are two areas outside to enjoy. One has chairs and an outdoor sofa, the other has a table and chairs. Sunday morning there were hot air balloons that flew over the house. We enjoyed our stay very much and would recommend it!

Quiet and Comfortable
Quiet and Comfortable
A nice vacation rental. Prior to our stay the owner answered our questions promptly. Once at the house, the instructions were clear, it was clean, quiet, and the deposit was returned quickly. I was worried about the "dog" bedding since we were bringing our dog. Our soft coated wheaten terrier doesn't shed. We were pleased to find there was no sign that other dogs had previously been there but for a food/water bowl. We enjoyed the nearby wineries. The trail near the house was wonderful for walking the dog. To the owners: adding another bathroom off the master bedroom and a dishwasher would be wonderful upgrades. We would stay here again.

Owner response: Ed, Thank you for staying with us! We do have plans to add a 2nd bathroom in the future (hopefully, 2014) and we just put all new sod, plants and the like around the home so your dog will have nice, soft grass and we are fully fencing in the entire property! :) Look forward to having you back! :) Thanks for the 5 star review!
Perfect getaway with our Greyhound!
Perfect getaway with our Greyhound!
We had a wonderful time at this home. It was very very well appointed. The view is amazing and it is sooo quiet. The owners were the best we have ever encountered on VRBO ...Helpful, and totally accommodating. We were able to bring our rescued greyhound who enjoyed walking the miles of trails with us. This is a great place to stay and has a better view than most of the Wineries, but still close to everything!

Owner response: Kind words warms our hearts. We put a lot of effort into every detail and we are glad it is appreciated. Thanks so much!
This vacation rental exceeded our expectations. It is a well-furnished two bedroom, one full bath home with a breath-taking view of the ranches and vineyards below and all around the neighborhood. When I say well-furnished, I mean everything but food is included. We found basic condiments, cooking and baking supplies, and spices in a cupboard and the refrigerator. We even found brand new toothbrushes and toothpaste in a medicine cabinet! The house itself was immaculate and comfortably furnished. The bed gave us an excellent night's sleep! We were able to enjoy the weather and the view on the outdoor wicker patio furniture. Horse trails/hiking trails provided an opportunity to explore the area a little and enjoy the weather while getting a little exercise. Everything one could think to need to enjoy an extended stay at the house has been thoughtfully provided. We discovered a loose-leaf binder on the coffee table that gave us directions to the nearest supermarket and local attractions as well as instructions for leaving the property at checkout. The location is in a quiet, upscale subdivision on the east side of Temecula. Well-tended grape vines are everywhere! Lemon trees are all over the property! This is a wonderful place to spend a week or more at a very reasonable cost considering everything that's included. My wife and I stayed eight days with our German shepherd. We will be looking to stay there again and again! Thank you, Susan, for sharing this home with us! We totally enjoyed our stay. It exceeded our expectations in every way!

Relaxing weekend stay! Will return!!
Relaxing weekend stay! Will return!!
My husband and I and our old dog stayed here for 3 nights and it was one of our most relaxing weekend vacations ever! This cute little home has everything you need. It was so cold the weekend we stayed here, so we didn't get a chance to enjoy the outdoors for very long, but were able to take short little walks around the surrounding area. The panoramic views are gorgeous! Everything was so clean and in perfect, functional order; hot water was hot, heater was more than sufficient, full kitchen and bbq grill allowed us to stay in and make meals. The house is located in a very quiet, private area of residential Temecula, but still close to the main roads for shopping, restaurants, and wineries. It's quite dark out here at night, so you'll see tons of stars you'd never see while staying in the city! Owner is lovely to talk with, and we got our security deposit refunded before we even got home! We'll definitely be coming back!

Perfect weekend get away
Perfect weekend get away
Just returned from a much needed mini vacation. Property was perfect for two couples and two dogs. The rental was clean, tastefully decorated, and stocked with kitchen basics for cooking. The owner was great to work with and answered all my questions promptly. We enjoyed sitting outside with our glass of wine and playing chess inside on the gaming table. Our dogs thought the horse trails, supply of sticks, and space to run around made it the best time ever! They give it two paws up! The only thing we were worried about was the bathroom in the 2nd bedroom and disturbing each other in the middle of the night but it wasn't an issue. Thanks for opening up your property to us!

Wine tasting weekend
Wine tasting weekend
My husband and I along with another couple stayed at this property. We had priced the local hotels which are about a 10 min drive to the winery's and found that with this property we could get a house 2 min from the winery's and well below the price of a hotel. The surroundings were very peaceful and picturesque. Included was a golf cart to ride around on the property. The house and grounds was very clean and decor was nicely done. The kitchen had everything you would need to cook a full meal. I was concerned at first about the pet goats making too much noise but inside the house you could not hear them. The property was centrally located by the winery's which made it nice to come back to the property to take a break. The owners were very easy to work with and the neighbors were very friendly. The only draw back for me was the fact that the one and only bathroom was located in one of the bedrooms, which made it difficult to use the restroom in the middle of the night (didn't want to disturb the other couple). If you have a family with children then it is not a big deal.Other than the bathroom issue everything else was amazing and we got a great vacation at a great deal.
