First off let say thanks to Paula (the owner) for the home made zucchini bread, it didn't last long it was delicious. As for the house, was very clean and well equipped, we really enjoyed our stay while we did some skiing. Paula is a great owner and did a wonderfully job making sure we had everything we needed. If I ever traveled to Pagosa again I would love to stay at the Ravens nest again. Thanks, ChadRecommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, families with teenagers, pet owners, families with young children.

Our stay at the Raven's Nest was fantastic! We had 7 adults, a teenage boy and 3 younger boys and never ran out of room or things to do! The house was very well furnished with anything and everything we needed for the week. Paula even brought by a tin of goodies that didnt last long at all! The younger boys had a great time exploring and sledding down the hills behind the house after a full day of skiing. We had plenty of room at meal time for everyone and the weather was just great in the evening so we used the balcony and grill quite a bit! Thanks again Paula for all the hospitality and beautiful home! Lots of memories were made and we will be back!!Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, pet owners, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

We had a fantastic time staying at the Raven's Nest! The house is very well maintained with plenty of room. Wild Bill and Paula went out of their way to make sure everything was perfect. They even dropped by one afternoon to shovel snow off the deck and drop off fresh banana bread! The mud room and doggie accommodations were just what we needed. Thank you for your generous hospitality. We will be coming back!Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, pet owners, girls getaway.

We had a fantastic time at The Ravens Nest. I would highly recommend it to any and everyone!! We loved everything about this house, the way it was arranged, the big bedrooms, the flowing kitchen, living area with the fireplace, to the outside balcony. I especially loved the mud room, where all the ski wear, boots could be stored. The kids had a blast on the sledding hill outside and loved their private area downstairs. Paula made us feel right at home, had plenty of information-literature for us, and even delivered us such delicious goodies, we all fought over them. Our group ranged in age from 65 through 8 yrs of age. All of us expressed what a great time we had and how we enjoyed staying at The Ravens Nest. Thanks again Paula, for helping us make memories that will last us a lifetime. We will definately be back.Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, tourists without a car, age 55+, families with teenagers, pet owners, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

We absolutely loved staying at the Raven's Nest! The house is very well kept and had plenty of room for our group of nine plus two more who joined us each evening for dinner and games. Paula goes out of her way to make your stay very pleasant. We loved the fresh banana bread! The notebook with tons of information about the house, local restaurants and attractions was definately a plus. Thanks for a well stocked kitchen. We have stayed in many homes in Pagosa Springs, and the Raven's Nest is by far the best yet. We felt right at home and hope to make it our "home away from home" every year during our family ski/snowboarding trip.Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, families with teenagers, pet owners, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.
Owner response: I so appreciate the positive response. Thank you again. Please contact me if you can think of anything that you would like in addition to what I keep adding. PS. Check out the new antique snow shoes above the fireplace. Paula

The Ravens Nest was a great place to spend a snow week. The kids loved the sleds and snow hill outside and the adults enjoyed the kitchen and the many places to hang out. Thanks for taking such care of the home that we could use it. The property is as described and was very clean and ready for use. It was enjoyed by the whole family, senior thru 3 yr old. Wolf Creek was great and there were a surprising number of really good restraunts around.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, families with teenagers, pet owners, families with young children.
Owner response: Thank you for the great review. Kitchens are truly the heart of home, so I am constantly adding appliances or dishes that make it feel more like your home. Just added some new antiques snow shoes to the Great Room, Looks pretty cool.

The vacation house was perfect. We had 4 adults and 4 children and there was plenty of room for everyone. Our children loved the sledding hill outside and the downstairs area. The adults loved the fireplace in the living room and the mud room that kept the ski clothes contained! The house is in a great location. Close enough to town for restaurants and groceries but in a nice quiet neighborhood. We would love to come and stay again!Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children.
Owner response: Thank you so much for the positive review. We plan to add more surprises to the Bunkhouse room. Let us know what you think. Paula C.

This house was fabulous! Very well furnished, comfortable beds, and a fully stocked kitchen. Plenty of space for a large group of 10. Paula had decorated for Christmas and brought us gingersnap cookies as a welcome. I will definitely stay here when (not if) we come back to Pagosa Springs.Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, families with teenagers, pet owners, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.
Owner response: Thank you so much for the 5 star rating. We look forward to making every guest stay feel like home. Our focus is to offer new seasonal changes as much as possible. Paula C.

My family so enjoyed their stay at the Ravens Nest. The bedrooms were large, well decorated, and very clean. The beds were very comfortable with nice new linens and comforters. The kitchen was well organized with plenty of dishes and cookware for holiday cooking and serving. The new deck cover offered a wonderful extension to the inside living when extended family visited and we were all able to enjoy afternoons lounging in the sun. This house hosts large groups very well. Paula offered us great service and made us feel right at home. We will be back again.Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, pet owners, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

Owner info
About the owner: We retired to Pagosa in 2003 from the Denver area. Skiing, hiking, biking. rollerblading, river tubing, 4 wheeling and camping, are just some of the outdoor activities that make us happy. Sharing these experiences with family and friends has become one of our greatest joys.
The Unique Benefits at this House:
If you have to check in with your office, the wifi Internet will let you work anywhere in the house. When you are done working, there is plenty of patio furniture on the upper deck for guests to leisure the evening away and enjoy the magnificent night sky. There are 3 different deck areas depending your mood. The lake is a block from the house if you are a water person. There are plenty of summer day trips During winter, skiis get stashed in the ski shed, the mess gets left in the mudroom and people disappear to one of the 3 levels of the house. A bathroom on every floor, hot showers, thanks to never ending tankless hot water heat has been a plus. The theater room minimizes tv noise throughout the house. The kids often disappear to the bunkhouse without being told to go to their room.
