This adorable spacious studio unit can be your special little quiet piece of paradise. Relax and watch the sunset from the Kamaole beach park II, a short walk across the street. Enjoy your own beautifully landscaped private ground floor lanai, and listen to the hawaiian doves in the morning. Do your own barbeque in the evening, and refresh in one of the two pools after a challenging game of tennis. Wonderful restaurants and shopping are all within walking distance.
Kihei Akahi condominium is beautifully landscaped. Our condominium will sleep two to four people. It is decorated Hawaiian style to bring the islands inside with you. Kihei has the best weather of the islands, gentle tropical breezes, an occasional spritz of rain, and the ever so sweet aroma of tropical flowers.
The owner, Leilani Gray, was born in Honolulu and lives in Calistoga, California, where she owns the Trailside Inn Bed and Breakfast. She knows the special calling that the islands have, and wants to share that wonderful feeling with you.
Once you have been there you will always want to return. We hope that you will recommend our little piece of paradise to your friends and family, and that you will visit us again and again and again!

Clean, roomy, well appointed! Great location just across the street from Kamaole Beach II. We also liked the ground floor, corner unit, quiet and easy access. The bed was comfy, the kitchen well stocked with dishes, pots and pans, etc., including some condiments. Having a washer and dryer, with soap, was great, as we were able to pack less! The unit included great beach chairs, beach towels, umbrellas, and a cooler, all very handy. The owner was very nice to talk to and easy to reach. I would recommend this condo unit for budget travel, but also because it is nice, and convenient! Lots of restaurants within walking distance, too. Mahalo to the owners for such a nice place for a good price!Recommended for: Romantic getaway, age 55+, families with young children, sightseeing, adventure seekers, girls getaway.
Owner response: We have the greatest guests! We love to share our little piece of paradise with you and appreciate your input and suggestions for making our studio a fantastic vacation spot. We are headed for Maui in 2 weeks and are replacing the washer/dryer. Mahalo for your comments and Emails. Lani

My boyfriend and I stayed here about 2 years ago, and I'm just getting around to reviewing it. I realize more and more that reviews are important and I want to give credit where credit is due! This place was cute and homey. It felt like we lived there, because it was set up with all of the essentials, and was not too touristy feeling. The location within Kihei was convenient for walking to plenty of places. We often walked to the beach right across the main street, to the water sports rental place, and to several nearby restaurants. The location of the condo was just far enough away from the main street that there weren't any noise issues. Kihei itself was a perfect homebase for wandering around the island. We were happy with this location, having never been to Maui before. All in all, it was a lovely place! I wouldn't hesitate to stay there again!Recommended for: Romantic getaway, tourists without a car, people with disabilities, age 55+, families with young children, sightseeing, adventure seekers.

The condo was PERFECT for our needs!!! The location and property grounds could not be any better. Just steps to South Kihei Road and a few more steps right to the ocean. The condo itself worked great! Very nice and spacious studio! Great for a couple but maybe not any more than that. The condo had everything we could ever need: boogie boards, towels, laundry soap, beach chairs, dish soap, even extra toiletries in case you forgot! We used this condo as a starting off point for eventually moving here. We loved the location and are currently renting long term just a few places down the road! We absolutely loved the little condo by the beach!!! A great price for a great unit! Thanks again!Recommended for: Romantic getaway, people with disabilities, age 55+, sightseeing, adventure seekers.
Owner response: We appreciate all reviews. We are always working to make our condo the best it can be. We love it and want others to love it too. It is our home away from home so we outfit it so we can travel light and want others to be able to do that too. Thanks for staying with us.
