I was one of the first people to get to stay in this beautiful and fully redecorated and restored home. I could not had a better time. The weather was perfect and so was this wonderful cottage. It reminded me of some of the private homes in Key West. I would have paid the daily rate to just stay in the guest house and use the private pool and private lanai ! I didn't cook but did love having the fully fuctional and restored kitchen for my diet cokes, juice, salads and tv dinners!! The place was as clean as any place I have ever stayed in FL. Looks like a private model home but with new linens and a private pool. The owner has decorated and restored both her own private properties and also many other properties in TN and now is doing her magic in WPB. I heard about this property by a person she had worked with in the past that could not say enough good about her and her work. That is how I got to be one of the first to rent it. I loved how she used older wood peieces with brand new pieces and made it look as though it was a private home when West Palm was the elite place to have a vacation home. I loved that it is within cycling or walking distance to the beach, shopping at Worth Ave., and also some fun places to eat. I meant to do more sightseeing but really loved the property so much that I spent most of my time by the pool or on the patio reading. I loved having the private lanai (patio) to take my morning coffee and just soak up the sun and cool breezes after a hard weather in my home state! The only draw back with giving her the truthful review of how much I loved the place is that now I am fearful it will stay rented well in advance and not be available when I go back to West Palm!!! The photos shows how good it all looks but does not show the sweet smell of the flowering plants or the sway of the palm trees near the home or the feel of the balmy breeze that greets you every morning by the private pool! Thank you to the owner for allowing me stay at her wonderful property, even though I know it was a little earlier than she had planned to start renting it . I will come back and will tell my friends and family about this place.Recommended for: Tourists without a car, families with teenagers, age 55+, romantic getaway, girls getaway.

I was only there for 3 days while getting our boat serviced in the near by boat facility but it was great!!! I was looking for a nice , clean place to stay in WPB and my sister told me about this place. It is just beautiful. I was leary since my husband is very picky and the price seemed low for the area. But the last time we were in the area we had a terrible experience with a supposedly upper end hotel that was the price of this house per night. At the hotel we had to change rooms twice because of cleanliness issues, so I knew my friend had been to look at this home and decided to try it. I was just so happy I did! New linens, newly decorated and a private pool. Since we ate out, we never used the kitchen except for breakfast cereal but what a delite to have the fresh juice, milk and coffee right there to enjoy on the private patio or by the pool. And who had not rather have a private, clean pool where you do not need to wait for a chair and can use your own towels.? I even could launder the towels I brought (along with my causal cothes) before putting them back on our boat to head home. It was a great deal for just two people using it but would be even a greater deal if you have more staying. The guest house was great and would have been perfect if we could have stayed here when my son was a teenager. He would have loved having his own space right near the pool and I would have loved that it is fenced in and private, so I wouldn't worry. I think it was expertly restored to the way West Palm Beach was in it;s heyday. While there are a few repurposed pieces of nice furniture, most of the furniture is brand new or loo and right outside the doorks brand new. Especailly in the living room and bedroom!!! With the new clean linens, shower curtain and rugs, It is like staying in a very nice private home. We will most certainly try and get reservations here when we come back through in April. The pictures are worth a thousand words but even the pictures do not show the wonderful palm trees and warm balmy weather!! We had a rental car (so the parking was free) but it is only a few minutes from the Worth shopping district and great little restaurants.Recommended for: Tourists without a car, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, girls getaway.

The house is 2 miles from Palm Beach International Airport, 1/2 mile from I95, and two blocks off Flagler Drive/Intercoastal. Singer Island is a short 15 minute drive and has a terrific public beach adjacent to the Marriot Resort. City Place/Clematis Street is 1 1/2 miles from the property and is a great place to shop, go to a movie, or dine at some fabulous restaurants.
The Unique Benefits at this House:
This house is perfect for a couple or for a small family and with the guest house, older children or friends can always come along for a visit. I didn't want a lot of upkeep on a second home and this property was exactly what I wanted.
