We invite you to stay at our Castle By the Sea. Located in the North Forest Beach area of Hilton Head Island, this seven bedroom, eight bath (six full and two half) home offers the best of everything for a family vacation. This home is located less than 90 yards to the beach. It is an easy walk to the popular Coligny Plaza.
Our Castle by the Sea offers seven bedrooms - Three kid-themed bedrooms for the children and four Master bedrooms with King Beds and en-suite bathrooms for the children. All of the bedrooms except one of the children’s bedrooms has a private, en-suite bathroom. Two of the four Master bedrooms have whirlpool bathtubs as well as glass showers. On the upper level, there is also a loft with a pull-out, queen-size sleeper sofa. All of our bedrooms and living areas are furnished with name brand furniture including Lexinton, Hooker, LaZBoy and Bassett. The bed linens are designers including Ralph Lauren, Disney Store, and Charter Club. For your comfort, each bedroom is equipped with a ceiling fan. All of the closets have been customized with built in closets for the utmost in storage and convenience.
Going to the beach? Included in the house is a plastic wagon for trips to the beach. Your Castle by the Sea is located less than 90 yards to the Beach. The walk to the beach is on a sandy road with little traffic. Located a few blocks from the large hotels, this section of beach is quiet and not very crowded.
What better for a trip to the beach than sleeping Under the Sea?
For your mermaids and mermen, take a weeks’ vacation Under the Sea. Designed to feel like the children are under water with their Little Mermaid friends, the entire room is painted like water. Our Under the Sea room features a queen size bunkbed with Disney’s Little Mermaid bedding.
Not a princess fan? Our other Under the Sea room features friends from the movie Finding Nemo including Nemo, Marlin, Dory and Crush the turtle. This room features two sets of twin bunkbeds decorated like castles under the sea. The bedding in this room is Finding Nemo bedding from Disney Home.
Our third twin bedroom is called Cottage by the Sea and features a cottage shaped bunkbed with a full size bed on the bottom and a twin on top. The bedding in this room is from Pottery Barn Kids.
This home offers a large (roughly 16 x 30 feet) pool with a heated spa. For those of you traveling with babies or toddlers, our pool offers a large sun deck step at the entrance to the pool which is six inches deep where young ones can sit and splash in the water. We have also included a swim out ledge around half of the pool for new swimmers to be able to play and rest. The swimming pool and spa are equipped with fiber optic lighting for your own private "light show!" Sit outside at night and watch the pool change colors as you enjoy a quiet evening. Surrounding the pool is a large deck area equipped with an outdoor kitchen which includes a gas barbecue grill, beverage refrigerator, countertop and seating and a sink. The pool area also includes covered porches, and plenty of lounge chairs and tables. At the street level is an outdoor shower for rinsing off after making sand castles at the beach.
Your family will also enjoy the other areas in the home including a large great room, a games room in the garage, dining room, and fully-equipped kitchen. The great room offers a big screen TV, VCR, DVD player, and stereo. For your seating comfort, the great room is furnished with a huge sectional leather sofa, an oversized chair and a long window box seat. Adjacent to the great room is a bar with an icemaker.
The custom kitchen is stocked with everything you would need to cook an entire Thanksgiving meal for a large family. No expense has been spared on this kitchen from the granite counter tops and custom cabinetry to the high end appliances. Do not like to do dishes? Do not worry, this kitchen has two full-size dishwashers for cleaning up even the biggest meal.
The games room in the garage has a pool table, small Little Tykes gym for kids, putting green, counter/bar area and a tv. For those who enjoy surfing the web or need to catch up on work, our house offers a computer with free DSL Internet access. Are there any train lovers in your family? Our home offers a full size Thomas like train table and train set for the junior engineers! Our Castle By the Sea offers both a SONY Playstation 2 and a Nintendo GameCube with games.
After traveling with young children many times, we understand how stressful it can be to travel without all of the “equipment” that you have at home. With that in mind, we have tried to provide everything that a family with a young child might need. If we are missing something that you desire, please contact us and we can try to honor your request. Included in your rental price are: One full-size crib located in one of the Master Bedrooms (like you have at home) Two portable cribs (pack and plays), two high chairs, two Baby Monitors, a Graco baby swing, a Graco Deluxe Exersaucer, Fisher Price Musical Bouncer Seat, Graco Doorway Jumper, Baby Bathtub, toddler bed rails, gates for the top and bottom of the stairs, tons of toys, and videos.
The entire house offers air conditioning and heat for your comfort. All linens and towels are provided free of charge including beach towels. Each bathroom is furnished with a wall mounted hair dryer. There is a washer, dryer, iron and ironing board on the first floor. This villa is non-smoking however, ash trays are provided on the patio, for your use. No pets allowed. Pool heating is available upon request.
We have a 24 hour management company. Our home is maintained with cleaning, pest control, landscaping, and pool services regularly.

We have always loved Hilton Head. We enjoy the North Forest Beach area because it offers a great beach and it is walking distance to Coligny Plaza. Coligny Plaza offers shopping, dining, movies, groceries, and entertainment.

We enjoy the beach, the pool, biking on the bike paths, renting a boat and going out on the water, shopping at Coligny Plaza, walking to the bakery and coffee shop in the morning, listening to Gregg Russell in Sea Pines at night, cooking in the gourmet kitchen and relaxing in the hot tub.

The pictures tell the correct story! The house is amazing. It is perfect for multiple families. We had 2 families with 7 children ages 4 - 18. The kids loved the theme bedrooms, the pool, toys in the garage, and the very short walk to the beach. We also loved walking to dinner and shopping. The house was amazing! Clean, comfortable beds, organized, and had everything we needed. We would recommend this house. We hope to return.

This house exceeded my expectations! We decided to have a last-minute vacation and this house was perfect for us! With young kids, it had plenty of things to keep them busy - books, games, puzzles, train table, chess set...and don't forget the pool. We heated the pool and I was glad we did - the kids spent every afternoon in the pool even when it was cooler out. The house is fully equipped! The kids (2, 5, 7) loved the fantasy bunk beds! The house was clean and the property managers are very responsive. The beach is very close by and the wagon they provide was great to bring beach toys etc with us. The beds were very comfortable. We would for sure come back again! Thank you for a great vacation!

We are an extended family of 16 people including 7 kids under 8 years old. We absolutely loved staying in this kid-friendly house. The home and all it's good things were great. We had no problems. We loved the walk-onto-the-board chess set in the basement and the pool and spa. Those were are favorites. We found the house had all the baby and kid equipment we needed including everything from Wii to sippy cups. Plenty of room for the kids to play in the loft while the adults can enjoy the living area and still keep an eye on the kids. The kitchen is well equipped. (Well, we did have to go get a second coffee pot so the leaded and decaf coffee drinkers could both enjoy morning coffee at the same time.) The house is an easy walk to the beach and convenient to everything. The walk to the plaza for lunch or shopping took no time at all. The owner was easy to work with and provided all the help we needed. The house was spotless when we arrived and everything worked as it should. It was our first time to stay in Hilton Head and we loved that, too. We rented bikes and cycled all over the place. Peddles is the bicycle rental place to go to. We tried two others and this one is the best. If you're planning deep sea fishing, we recommend Integrity Charters (www.integritycharterfishing.com). They did a great job for us and we had a blast. I and my wife stayed in the Castle. It was truly a most beautiful home. This was the first time since we have been married that we were actually able to take a true "vacation". I had never seen the ocean. It was as I expected awe inspiring. We had the time of our lives. I cannot say enough about it. Thank You so much. We stayed the week of April 2-9. Our children invited us to come.

Every couple of years, our extended family gets together for xmas and this year we decided on HHI. We quickly found this house and one of the biggest draws for us was the large family/dining/kitchen area. The house is set up beautifully for large groups to hang out during the day, and the master bedrooms are wonderful and all have baths. The two kid themed rooms are cute, but may cause some "snide remarks" from older teens or adults relegated to them, but work well as places to crash at the end of a long day, when all that really matters is a nice bed to sleep in. The amenities of the home are top notch, with pretty much everything you could think of being provided from kitchen utencils, to beach toys, to pool table and video and board games. The whole house stereo is a nice plus for entertaining. All in all, a really nice place to hang out. Highly recommended.

What a delight for my entire family! Our three daughters and their families joined us at Castle by the Sea to celebrate our 40th Anniversary. The home was fantastic! Every amenity was taken care of - even a computer with internet was provided. Our five grandchildren were thrilled with the games, the movies, the water "toys", the close proximity to the beach and the wonderful pool and spa waiting for our return every day. Each couple had their own King size bedroom and bath while the children loved their themed bedrooms. The kitchen was perfect to accommodate our large family. It contained all the cooking utensils a chef could want! The entire house lent itself to a fabulous family vacation. Thanks for the memories!

This house is amazing. It was so clean and decorated beautifully. There is everything and anything a family with small children would need, which makes it very nice to not have to pack extra things. The layout of the house was wonderful, with some bedrooms separate from the kids themed rooms so those adults that did not have kids were not woken up. The pool and hot tub were amazing, we were in it every day. And it is only a 2 minute walk to the beach. It is also a short walk to amazing shops and restaurants. Absolutely beautiful and we will definitely go back next year.

The house is just wonderful - it was cleaned perfectly upon arrival and had many, many extra ammenities that made for a wonderful stay. This is a luxury home that is family (kid) friendly. Plenty of space for multiple families to enjoy. The bedrooms were large and very comfortable. The house was close to the beach (around 90 yards) and the our kids could come/go safely. Great house value for the price!
