I have had the pleasure of staying at the Nyhavn apartment for a month at a time, on four different occasions. Each time I have stayed, someone has always met me with a key and the apartment has been spotless. The apartment is situated on Nyhavn, the famous harbor street in Copenhagen. Don't worry about the noise, however. You do enter the apartment on the street of Nyhavn but the actual apartment is probably a half of a city block from the door in a private courtyard. Besides, the beautiful harbor, boats and restaurants right outside, you will be within walking distance from the famous shopping street, Magasin (the department store), Kongs Nytorv, a grocery store (Netto or Magasin), countless restaurants, bars and ATMs. The apartment itself is bigger than most with a huge living/dining room and wonderful kitchen (with great pots and pans). There is also a washer/dryer and a large shower with great water pressure. The bedroom is simple and comfortable and has plenty of storage space. There is a sweet little porch where you can enjoy coffee in the mornings and look over the cobblestone pavement. (Just ask for an outdoor chair). If you are looking for a home away from home in beautiful Copenhagen, this is the spot. You could not find a better or more comfortable location.
