NEWLY RENOVATED BAR/RESTAURANT AND CABINS IN 2009/2010
Pike Lake Resort consists of four newly renovated cabins and a bar/restaurant. The lodge is located on Pike Lake (200+ acres and 34-feet deep) with 300 feet of frontage, offering picturesque views of the lake. These fabulous cabins are set less than 30 feet from the lake and offers a quiet atmosphere with southern exposure and is perfect for all seasons of the year.
SUMMER: SWIMMING! Water sports and fishing are popular from the individual private docks and fishing boats. Nearby are several golf courses and restaurant/bars.
A public boat landing is located 2 miles from the property.
SPRING/FALL:
During the fall months, this property is an excellent option for hunters. The cabins are located within minutes of thousands of acres of excellent public hunting land.
For the fishing activists, this property has excellent fishing from its private docks. Pike Lake offers different types of fishing (bass, panfish, northern, walleye, crappie).
ATVers are moments away from many of the finest trails in Marathon and Shawno Counties and are open year round.
WINTER:
This property has direct access to GROOMED SNOWMOBILE trails and excellent ice fishing. This property is also located nearby several cross country trails and within 30 minutes from Granite Peak Ski Resort.

I was traveling to this area for a family reunion and found this place to be cheaper than a nearby hotel. We booked it, not really knowing what to expect... We had an EXCELLENT time at this cabin. Our cabin was fully stocked with everything you need for a long weekend (everything except food and clothes). The cabins were extremely clean and comfortable. And we were very pleased with the availability of the fishing boats - included in the cabin rental (and had some great luck catching fish in the lake). The staff were super friendly and the bar/restaurant on site had good food and cheap drinks. The location was also perfect (between Wittenberg and Wausau), just off highway 29. We plan to stay here every time we go back to that area. Definitely recommend!Recommended for: Families with young children, adventure seekers.

This was a wonderful "cabin" on a beautiful lake. We walked around the area and biked (brought ours) to a nearby lake which has a nice beach. The patio area was shaded at times which was nice for the hot weather we had. Our cabin had everything we needed and more, since we weren't there to cook! The food at adjacent Pike Lake Resort was delicious and SO reasonably priced -- and the "Party on the Patio" music was wonderful. Our pontoon boat ride on the lake was very fun. We will visit again!Recommended for: Girls getaway, age 55+.

We had a wonderful time. It was so peaceful. very clean. The cabins are like little doll houses. The resort provided just about everything except for our food and clothes. The staff were very caring. They even come and joined us by the campfire. We will definitely recommend this resort to our family and friends. We will be going back again soon! The lake was very nice. It was not overly crowded. There were times we were out there by ourselves. Not far from town.Very reasonable.Recommended for: Girls getaway, families with young children, romantic getaway, pet owners, families with teenagers, adventure seekers, age 55+.
