Chateau Riveneuve is an exquisite place to rent for a large family or to organize a wedding.The chateau is a large 17th century mansion, overlooking the Pyrenees. It is set within a park of 5,6 acres with centenary trees and a private pool. Brightened up, bathed by light, it offers a magnificent sight on the Pyrenees mountains. Vast with 17 rooms, distributed on 600 M2, it can house up to 30 people. In the reception room, you can organize a reception of 200 people.
Comfortable and completely renovated, it is equipped of 14 bedrooms. Decorated with refinement, the rooms are quite various and offer the charm of romantic time period. The big lounge was painted by an artist, Jules de Lahondes, who was the owner of the castel in the XIX th century.Here you can enjoy the gentle pace of country life, and taste local farm produce. Ideally located to discover the Chateaux Cathares (20mn to Chateau de Montaségur), 45 mn to Carcassonne City, 45 mn to Toulouse, 45 mn to ski resorts of Pyrenées.

Nous avons passé un somptueux week-end entre amis pour fêter mes 40 ans. Tout le monde était ravi de la demeure, un château accueillant, plein de charme où nous nous sommes sentis de suite à l'aise. Ce lieu nous a permis à nous et à nos proches de vivre un moment inoubliable lors de notre mariage. Chacun d'entre nous s'est senti "comme à la maison"... Nous nous sommes mariés dans ce lieu chaleureux et l'atmosphère du domaine a largement contribué à la réussite de notre Grand Jour! Notre famille, qui logeait sur place, a énormément apprécié le confort et la décoration des chambres ! Tout est fait pour que petits et grands se sentent détendus! comment ne pas apprécier ce séjour dans cet adorable château ariégeois lorsqu'on a le plaisir, en ouvrant ses volets au petit matin, d'une vue fantastique sur les Pyrénées enneigées ? Outre ce détail non négligeable, ce château offre toutes les conditions d'un agréable séjour : ultra-propre à notre arrivée ; le tout semble avoir été récemment rénové ; la cuisine est extrêmement bien équipée ; les chambres sont décorées chaleureusement et avec goût ; le vaste parc du château est idéal pour des activités de groupe ! La situation du château est également idéale lorsque l'on veut sillonner la région : à peine à trois quart d'heure de Toulouse, à une heure de Carcassonne.Did you find this review helpful? Les chambres sont superbes, ainsi que les salons, les enfants ont largement leur place et tous nos invités ont été ravis et surpris par cette ambiance chaleureuse...............Ce château a une âme et nous espérons y revenir un jour.............. Catherine et son intendante sont des personnes très chaleureuses et disponibles. L’Ariège est une région à découvrir, tant au niveau paysages, humain et gastronomique.Recommended for: Age 55+, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, sightseeing.
