This spacious home is only 50 yards from the seven-mile Manzanita Beach. Ideal for family and friend retreats where there is something for everyone --- relax in the den with a book or puzzle; socialize in the airy, comfortable family room around the wood stove or prepare a meal in the well-stocked kitchen; compete in a lively game of darts, foosball or basketball or watch a movie in the downstairs rec. room.
From the three decks you can enjoy the sights and sounds of the ocean and dunes. Enjoy a good night’s sleep in one of the many comfortable beds. On the upper levels, two bedrooms are equipped with queen beds. The third bedroom has a queen and a twin-over-full bunk. A full-size futon, twin sleeper and portable crib are also available.
Other area attractions less than an hour’s drive include Nehalem Bay Winery, Cape Meares Lighthouse, Tillamook Cheese factory, Tillamook Air Museum, Cannon Beach shopping and Seaside outlet mall.
Mazanita is a small oceanfront town with seven miles of beautiful Oregon coastline. It has two small grocery stores, gift and antique shops, restaurants and wine bar, day spa and city park with play structure and tennis courts.
Two nearby townships --Nehalem one mile and Wheeler five miles-- offer river and bay activities and additional shops and restaurants. Our home is located on a quiet road on the south side of town near Nehalem State Park.

How do we thank you enough for opening this wonderful home to us to have our family get together. Your home is wonderfully warm & welcoming. We all felt as if we were at home here. We had a great time, flying a kite. Some of the kids had never done that before . Even though the weather was a bit “crisp”, we were able to enjoy the outdoors tremendously. Thank you again.

It was wonderful –bed amazing –everything we needed was provided. We had great weather and even an amazing rain and wind storm one night -- couldn’t ask for more. The beach is beautiful, peaceful! We also found the wonderful wine bar! What a treat. We plan on coming back. You are very lucky to have a place like this.

WOW! What a great house for a wonderful multi-family getaway just before the start of school. We had such a great time “beachin’ “ it, playing games, and just hanging out! This place was so comfortable and perfect for our last summer hurrah. All our kids are sad for having to leave and so are we. Unfortunately we now have pressure to build our own game room, complete with everything here! The “firepit of truth” made the evenings so enjoyable. If only there was a paved path to the beach to make taking the heavy coolers much easier! All the amenities from kitchen to bathrooms, from laundry to game, are something we appreciated more than you know. Thank you for allowing our families to create memories of a life time in your wonderful “Spyglass Retreat”.
