Come enjoy this sunny split level beachside beauty with its fresh new interior design. You will appreciate the unique floor plan, perfectly designed for groups or families with children with 4+ bedrooms and 4 bathrooms (enough so that everyone can get ready quickly).
Mutineer Landing can very comfortably accommodate 13 guests (with a maximum occupancy of 19 guests if you utilize all the convertible sofa/futon beds - check the layout information on our own website linked below at the bottom of this page to see if it can accomodate your group).
Great location in exclusive Pirate's Beach. Only a five minute walk to the dune walkover to the protected neighborhood beach and a ten minute drive to Galveston downtown restaurants and shopping, Moody Gardens and Schlitterbahn!
Come enjoy the clean and airy rooms and over 1100 feet of decking on three large decks and a verandah (four of the five bedrooms overlook decks or the verandah). Unusual for beachside homes, Mutineer Landing features an oversized fenced yard with lush landscaping, outdoor shower, ample seating and a large yard for play. Enjoy the sounds of the ocean breeze as it blows through dozens of tall palm trees, oleander and hibiscus.
Bring your young children - Mutineer Landing is child friendly! A high chair and portable crib are available on request. The home is equipped with a game room and a washer and dryer. There is lots of shade on the verandah under the second floor rear deck for play during mid day sun or even rain.
The gourmet kitchen is equipped to serve all your guests. We have a high chair and portable crib available on request. The home is equipped with many amenities including wireless internet access, a game room, hot tub and a washer a dryer.
After a fun day at the beach enjoy the outdoor shower to wash the sand off and then enjoy some time in the game room or a soak in the sunken hot tub spa on the second floor deck while the charcoal fire is heating up in the BBQ grill!
Need some other activities? Golf? Swimming Pool? No problem, the Galveston Country Club is only two blocks away and we can provide you access upon request.
Absolutely No Pets and No Smoking.
Unlike other areas in Galveston, driving on the beach is NOT allowed in this subdivision.

Just to let you know that we had a great time at your home in Galveston. All the bedrooms and bathrooms were ideal for our family and we really enjoyed our evening meals on the backyard patio. . . Our stay was perfect. We followed all your instructions and treated your home as our own. We all decided that we would certainly consider staying at your home next summer. Thank you! Later by email: This was the first time all members of our combined families had been together. What worked well for your group? The number of bathrooms and the privacy of the bedrooms. Did you have any special memories that you would be willing to share with other guests? Yes, fantastic dinners on the patio in the backyard...privacy and setting was perfect! . . . Look for us next year! . . . Enjoyed reading the Hurricane Ike book and watching the CD...loved the large bar area in the kitchen-dining area...kitchen well supplied...

Thank you for letting our family rent your home. The home accomodated our large family with no problem. The kitchen was very well equipped and everything else was fine also. Our little ones enjoyed looking and singing to the stars at night. They are so bright in the area. We had a great time at your beach house!!! The sleeping arrangements were perfect as we had lots of family members with us! The natural lighting is wonderful in the house! We didnt spend a lot of time in the back because it was pretty sunny but the 2nd floor deck held us all perfectly and stayed shady all day and the breeze was great. We ate most of our meals there. The kitchen was stocked with things to help cook and serve and everything we needed was available. The use of the Country Club pool was wonderful. The kids loved it and we all met some really nice people there. It was a little longer walk to the beach then we thought BUT we had a great golf cart and with all our "junk" that we had with us we always had to bring a car anyway so that was not a problem. =) I put the Golf Cart guys business card in the refridgerator book for you. Hes really nice and the rental fee was very reasonable! We would definitely stay there again! The decor was so nice and simple and the kitchen and floors and cleanliness of the place was excellent. . . we made great memories sitting on the deck having some drinks and catching up with family that we dont get to see but a couple times a year! Thank you again for allowing us to rent your wonderful second home! It was a pleasure!

My group had a very good time. The internet photographs do not do the home justice. The sleeping arrangements with the double in some of the rooms was great.The kitchen was totally equipped which my mother appreciated alot. Our guest were able to enjoy a home cooked meal. Every thing was very clean .I would definitely rent this home again. It was alot more homier than having my family stay in a hotel.

We enjoyed our stay in your lovely home. Our children seldom get together as they live in different states. We were able to stay together and spend time visiting. The three grandchildren loved the porches, back yard and of course - the beach! Our youngest grandson is autistic and needs routine to stay grounded. We were able to provide him some quiet space, his special diet, and yet include him in all activities. I am proud to say his behavior was wonderful, even at the wedding - a new large location with lots of strangers. . . Thanks for the well stocked kitchen - our family enjoys cooking and eating! . . .

We had a wonderful time; cataloged some good memories :) We had 3 different families together, so having separate areas to sleep everyone worked really well. The house really does accommodate large groups well. I was skeptical, but it worked out really well. The kids had such a wonderful time having picnics and stretching out on the front balcony. It is a nice spot. We found a turtle in the road, watched it for a day and set it free in the back. That was pretty special. . . Thank you! You have a lovely spot. The house is well-maintained and well-equipped.

We have a fantastic time . . . The house felt like a blessed place to be gathering. The location and house amennities were beuatiful. We had lovely group dinner together around that fabulous kitchen table, a homey place comfortable for games, laughter, tears and bonding. It was like we had entered into our own sacred haven of community. . .

Today was our first visit after hurricane Ike. What a relief to see the house in which we shared so many precious memories still there! Our thoughts our with those not as fortunate. We'll be making some minor repairs and cleaning the garden up in the next few weeks. We'll be back to stay with our family soon.
